Two Articles On The Thuggery Of "Bishops" Shutting Down Latin Masses In Their Dioceses, Leaving The Faithful To Fend For Themselves!

I present two articles for your consideration, then decide for yourselves who or what these people are who continually smash the traditional Latin Mass under the watch of Leo -- who knows exactly what is going on.  To think otherwise, is simply being foolish and blind to the truth!

Both articles are from lifesitenews.com, the first: Diocese of Austin shuts down planned Latin Mass for students at Texas A&M University - LifeSite and is written by LifeSiteNews staff Sat Sep 27, 2025 - 5:34 pm EDT

The second: Charlotte bishop says new Latin Mass chapel is not meant to fit everyone who wants to attend - LifeSite and is written by Emily Mangiaracina Mon Sep 29, 2025 - 3:36 pm EDT

The first...

"COLLEGE STATION, Texas (LifeSiteNews) — Catholic students at Texas A&M University in College Station will not have the opportunity to attend a planned Traditional Latin Mass after the Diocese of Austin ordered its cancellation.

A press release issued on September 24 by the student chapter of Juventutem International explains that an official from the Diocese of Austin, led by newly-installed Bishop Daniel Garcia, informed them they would not be allowed to bring in a priest from outside the diocese to offer the liturgy.

“The Mass was to be celebrated by a chaplain traveling from the Diocese of Victoria. On the evening before the liturgy, this priest was told by his Victoria bishop that he had received a directive from the Chancellor of the Diocese of Austin expressly forbidding him from traveling to College Station. This came after the pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Center, Father Will Straten, reported the Latin Mass to the Diocese of Austin,” the group said.

The Diocese of Victoria, Texas, was established in 1982. It is currently overseen by Bishop Brendan J. Cahill. Its chancellor is Msgr. Matthew Huehlefeld, J.C.L.

News of the cancelation is likely to increase the criticism currently being leveled against Garcia, who was named bishop of the Diocese of Austin on July 2, though he did not officially transfer to his new role until earlier this month.

Garcia made headlines last week when he announced in one of his final acts as bishop of Monterrey, California, that he would be shutting down the only Latin Mass available in the diocese in order to promote “unity” with Catholics who attend the Novus Ordo Mass. Garcia justified his efforts by citing Pope Francis’ 2021 document Traditionis Custodes, which greatly restricted the Latin Mass’ availability throughout the world.

“I invite you all to join in unity with the parish of Sacred Heart and St. Benedict, and in cooperation with your pastor, as they gather around the Table of the Lord celebrating the rich Eucharistic Sacrifice, each Sunday, which has been a great fruit of the Council,” Garcia said.

Juventutem International is a grassroots organization of young Catholics founded in 2004. It seeks to promote traditional liturgy, prayer, and community life. Sophomore Nick Cardone is the group’s president at Texas A&M. A convert to Catholicism, he did not mince words in his response to the diocese’s decision.

“At a time when so many young people are leaving the Church, and at the same time countless more are being attracted to the TLM, it is tragic that students who long for reverence and continuity with the past are being discriminated against. The Latin Mass is not a rebellion – it is the Mass of our ancestors, a treasure of the universal Church, and is currently the most productive source of vocations and conversions. To tyrannically restrict our right to it is to close the door on the very future of the Church, and on the impact it has on the world,” he said.

The Diocese of Austin issued a statement to CNA as well. Communications Director Camille Garcia said that Cardone’s group did not reach out to incoming Bishop Garcia for his approval, which she said is required for Masses held “outside of a sacred space on the university campus.”

Juventutum said in its press release that it is not discouraged over the news and that it will seek to resolve the matter with Garcia in the future.

‘The group remains fully committed to working with supportive clergy and students to restore reverent liturgy on campus and to defend the right of young Catholics to access the treasures of their own Church. We urge Bishop Daniel Garcia to reconsider this unjust decision and to allow the Traditional Latin Mass to flourish at Texas A&M, for the good of souls and the future of the Church.”

End of first article...

Now the second...

"(LifeSiteNews) — Bishop Michael Martin, OFM, has shared that the new chapel substituting for the previous four traditional Latin Masses of the Diocese of Charlotte is not meant to fit all of those who have attended the TLM.

Martin made the clarification in a Friday letter announcing the diocese’s official merger of its Latin Masses into one chapel, effective October 5. The newly renovated Little Flower Chapel, located 40 minutes north of downtown Charlotte, seats about 350 people, according to Martin.

“Understand that the chapel is not meant to be able to accommodate all who are currently attending the TLM in their respective parishes,” Martin wrote. He encouraged the Latin Mass-goers of the diocese to attend Little Flower Chapel occasionally, and even to wait until later in October or November to go to its Latin Mass, given its limited space.

Martin set off a firestorm of controversy when he announced in May the forthcoming closure of four Latin Masses throughout the diocese, per the dictates of Pope Francis’ Traditionis Custodes, which states that TLMs are not to be celebrated in “parochial” churches.

The backlash was so intense that Martin postponed the planned merger of the Latin Masses from July to October.

The devastation of the planned TLM shutdowns prompted Regina Magazine to produce a documentary, Bread Not Stones, in which Catholics of the Diocese of Charlotte opened up about the TLM’s impact on their lives, and their heartbreak over the suppression of the Latin Mass in their parish churches.

A few men in the film told how the Latin Mass was pivotal for their conversion to the Catholic faith, and one even testified that the TLM helped save his marriage.

One mother, Clare Gephart, highlighted the fact that her TLM parish community is thriving in a way she doesn’t see at other parishes. “Every single Sunday is standing room only. Every single event we attend is packed and full of life … It’s just bursting at the seams with love and life and families and children and elderly people,” Gephart said.

Traditionis Custodes, which has led to the suppression of dozens of Latin Masses around the world, has been denounced by clergy and scholars as a repudiation of the perennial practice of the Catholic Church and even of solemn Church teaching.

The Latin Mass thus “cannot be changed by a mere act of the will of even the highest ecclesiastical authority,” the cardinal wrote in 2021.

Liturgical scholar Dr. Peter Kwasniewski has also implored priests to resist the Latin Mass-throttling of Traditionis Custodes and its accompanying Responsa ad dubia “regardless of threats or penalties,” because obedience to these documents would undermine the very mission of the holy Catholic Church.

He has quoted the solemn words of St. Pius V’s bull Quo Primumwhich permanently authorized the traditional Mass. Quo Primum states:

(I)n virtue of Our Apostolic authority, We grant and concede in perpetuity that, for the chanting or reading of the Mass in any church whatsoever, this Missal is hereafter to be followed absolutely, without any scruple of conscience or fear of incurring any penalty, judgment, or censure, and may freely and lawfully be used. Nor are superiors, administrators, canons, chaplains, and other secular priests, or religious, of whatever title designated, obliged to celebrate the Mass otherwise than as enjoined by Us. We likewise declare and ordain … that this present document cannot be revoked or modified, but remains always valid and retains its full force …

Would anyone, however, presume to commit such an act (i.e., altering Quo Primum), he should know that he will incur the wrath of Almighty God and of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul.

Latin Masses offered by priests of the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) are continuing at St. Anthony of Padua in Mount Holly, near Charlotte. The Charlotte Latin Mass community has noted that the Holy See has written multiple times that “the Masses of the SSPX are valid and that the faithful who attend them fulfill their Sunday and Holy Day obligations.”'

End of article number two...

Folks, I have to tell you it seems to me that "bishop" Martin is relishing -- taunting? -- those faithful Catholics who cannot all fit into the little chapel.  If that is the case, that is despicable beyond words!

But in both articles, we are dealing with rabid, modernist monsters!  We must pray for their defeat -- and for their conversion to the Catholic Faith!

Pray too for strength and honor!

A Priest Could Go To Prison For Preaching Against Islam.

 Did you get that??

A prime example of double standards and hypocrisy!

From gatewayhispanic.com and written by Gateway Hispanic Editorial Staff A priest could go to prison for preaching against Islam. - Gateway Hispanic

"A priest could go to prison for preaching against Islam

In Spain, freedom of speech and religion is under serious threat. The case of Catholic priest Custodio Magister, who faces up to three years in prison for preaching against Islamic fundamentalism, has sparked national and international debate. What makes the case more striking is that, according to his own statements, Father Custodio never referred to all Muslims, but specifically to radical factions that promote violence and terrorism.

Despite this clarification, Spain's judicial system, influenced by the socialist government of Pedro Sánchez, is moving forward with a possible trial scheduled for the coming months. If confirmed, this would mark an unprecedented situation: a Catholic priest prosecuted not for inciting hatred, but for warning about the dangers of extremism. To many, this reflects a disturbing double standard.

While priests and Christian leaders face legal persecution for defending their faith or warning about real threats, open supporters of groups such as the Taliban or radical Islamist movements remain untouched by the law. This contradiction exposes the fragility of liberties under a government more concerned with political correctness than with defending fundamental values.

Father Custodio's words are not a call to hate, but rather a warning against an ideology that has caused death, persecution, and terror attacks around the world. His mission, as he has stated, is to defend Christians and protect Spain's cultural identity. Yet in today's political climate, even such a basic defense is seen as a crime.

Critics of the socialist government argue that this is a direct attack on the Catholic Church and on Europe's Christian tradition. It is not an isolated case: across Europe, critical expressions of Islam are increasingly restricted, while multicultural narratives are promoted, leaving those who defend their heritage vulnerable and silenced.

Spain's conservative opposition has denounced this as ideological censorship. Instead of protecting citizens from radical ideologies that pose a proven threat, Sánchez's government seeks to criminalize those who speak out against them. This inversion of democratic values, they argue, cannot be ignored.

The concern is not limited to Spain. In Latin America, many are watching closely and wondering if this is a preview of what might come to their own countries. Could a Catholic priest one day be punished in nations with Christian majorities simply for warning about extremist ideologies? It is a legitimate question, and one that should alarm every defender of freedom.

The case of Father Custodio Magister raises a fundamental moral and political dilemma: can a democratic nation criminalize truth-telling simply because that truth challenges progressive elites? If the Spanish justice system goes ahead, it will set a dangerous precedent that could spread across the Western world.

Conservatives are calling for a strong defense of freedom of speech and religion, both of which are essential pillars of democracy. Remaining silent as a priest is persecuted in Spain would mean opening the door to broader censorship of all who live and speak according to their Christian faith."

Another Shooting In A Church... A Mormon Church Was Attacked By A Male Maniac (Now Dead!), Kills At Least One With Many Wounded; The Church Was Set On Fire!

I am going to post this story and a short video to go along with it.

Before I do, I must warn anyone reading this to beware of the graphic information you will read and hear.

And for those who know something about the attacks on the Second Amendment -- the right to keep and bear arms -- I urge you to pay very close attention to the words of the police chief and the questions being asked by the media folks gathered in the briefing room.

As I was listening to the interview, I got angry!

Why?

For several reasons (more than just the two I list here) one, that such a terrorist attack took place in the first place and the fact that apparently no one in the church service was armed to take down the murderer, and two, can anyone reading this missive please explain to me what an "assault weapon" is?

To those who have been in the military, you can guess what the answer would or should be...

Note too, that the police chief never terms this horrific event as a terrorist attack, nor does he even mention the numerous attacks on religious, pro-life organizations or churches that have occurred all across the country, mainly directed at Catholic churches!

Again, listen very closely to the words that the police chief uses...

(Remember, this happened in Michigan, a state run by that extreme leftist governor Whitmer -- a dangerous phony from many different angels!)

Sadly, you will see in the article that the author uses the term "assault weapon" without even delineating what that actually means or is, and how it is different from weapons used for hunting, target or competition, etc.

One of the points I'm trying to make here, is that such sloppy writing and sloppy reporting as well as very sloppy statements from the police chief, feeds into the narrative and mantra of "gun control" used by the hard leftist in this country.  And, as you know, they never let a horrific tragedy go to "waste," but these are the same hypocrites who hire private -- armed -- security personnel to protect themselves and their homes!   Not only that, but they also have called for the defunding of the police in their communities, that, I believe is beginning to turn around (or is it?) as we see Marxist/anarchist/insurrectionists attacking federal buildings, such as ICE trying to round up arch-criminals!

"The Gateway Pundit recently reported on a gunman who opened fire at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on McCandlish Rd. in Grand Blanc, MI. At the time of our initial report, 6-8 victims of the gunman had been taken to the hospital, although the exact toll had not yet been confirmed. The church caught fire during the incident, triggering a massive four-alarm emergency response.

At a press conference only moments ago, Grand Blanc Township Police Chief William Renye identified the suspect of the mass shooting inside the Mormon Church as a 40-year-old man from Burton, a neighboring city just outside Grand Blanc, roughly 60 miles north of Detroit.

Chief Renye said the gunman, a 40-year-old male from nearby Burton, Michigan, drove his vehicle into the church and began to open fire on the parishioners inside. The shooter was shot and killed by local law enforcement, including an armed DNR agent, and was killed in the exchange of fire with officers.

The police chief has confirmed that the 10 gunshot victims were transported to local hospitals and that one of the victims has died from his injuries by the gunman.

Investigators believe the 40-year-old man from Burton acted alone, armed with an assault rifle. According to Renye, the suspect rammed his vehicle through the church’s front doors before opening fire on parishioners and then “deliberately” setting the building ablaze.

Watch Grand Blanc Township Police Chief William Renye’s most recent press conference here:

Michigan shooting: church on fire, multiple shot; gunman dead

The Grand Blanc police chief told the media he does believe they will find additional victims inside the fire, as law enforcement believes some of the victims were unable to get out of the burning church, but said “We have no idea at this time,” how many victims may have been trapped inside. He also stated that the FBI has been active in helping them to investigate the crime."

Do You Know Someone Who Homeschools In The Damned State Of New Jersey? The Damned Democrat Party Wants To Invade Your Home To Make Sure They Learn About Evil!!

 Does that sound like hyperbole?

I guarantee it is not!

Here is the title of my post again: Do You Know Someone Who Homeschools In The Damned State Of New Jersey?  The Damned Democrat Party Wants To Invade Your Home To Make Sure They Learn About Evil!!

As an aside, I used to live in the "Garden State" way back in the late 60s and early 70s, from the time I came back from Vietnam (December 1968) to the time I left the state to "find myself," as they say, and live in California.

New Jersey is or was a beautiful state, especially where I lived and areas north and west, all the way to Pennsylvania's Delaware Water Gap along the newly constructed Route 80 (the final segment was completed in 1986)...

Route 80... You could get on Rt. 80 from Jersey, and drive all the way to California without stopping, that is, if you had a rather large gas tank and didn't mind starving a bit...

But now?

I wouldn't live in New Jersey if someone paid me to live to Jersey...

Let me get back to the story of the damned Democrats trying to invade your home to force the brainwashing of your homeschooled children...

From thegatewaypundit.com and written by New Jersey Democrats Want to Force DEI and Wellness Checks on Homeschooled Children | The Gateway Pundit | by Jack Davis, The Western Journal

"Democrats in New Jersey are being accused of trying to mandate DEI instruction for students who are homeschooled because parents want to escape the state’s mandated brainwashing.

In an article for The Daily Economy, Corey DeAngelis said that there is more than meets the eye to some proposed state legislation.

DeAngelis said Assembly Bill 5825, which purports to ensure “oversight of home education programs,” is actually “a power grab that threatens the very foundation of parental rights.”

“The parent or guardian shall submit a copy of the curriculum that will be utilized in the home education program, which shall be aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards,” the bill reads.

The catch, he noted, was that diversity, equity, and inclusion curriculum is as integral a part of state standards as reading, writing and arithmetic.

Assembly Bill 5796 calls for a child who is homeschooled to be inspected annually by an official of the school district in which that child’s family lives and undergo “a general health and wellness check.” The bill says the individual inspecting the child should be a counselor, social worker, or nurse.

DeAngelis said that putting parents under the thumb of the very educators they have sought to distance themselves from is an attempt to drag “homeschoolers into the same ideological quagmire they sought to avoid.”

“Parents who’ve chosen to educate children independently often do so to avoid the heavily political worldviews imposed in government classrooms. By effectively compelling homeschooling families to parrot political narratives on race, gender, and identity, such mandates confirm the odd ownership many Democrats feel over people’s kids,” he wrote.

Tethering homeschooling families to the schools they fled suggests New Jersey Democrats believe “government school administrators, not parents, hold ultimate authority over a child’s upbringing.”

“The Democrats are inserting the government as a wedge between children and their families,” DeAngelis wrote.

Will Estrada, senior counsel at the Homeschool Legal Defense Association, said to Reason that no states force homeschoolers to align with public school curriculum.

He noted that the curriculum imposed by a state is often the reason parents opt for homeschooling.

Estrada also said that “public schools are there to educate children enrolled in the public school, not to do health and wellness checks on children in the community at large.”

In her article on the New Jersey laws, Reason writer Sophia Mandt concluded: “There are a million reasons why parents would want to homeschool their children, none of which should need government approval. Rather than harassing parents who wish to have more of a say in what their children are taught, New Jersey lawmakers could better serve the public by looking for ways to increase educational freedom in the state.”

DeAngelis wrote that freedom is not what the laws are about.

“Authoritarian regimes have often sought total control over education, and history reminds us these moves are ominous. In 1938, the Nazi regime banned homeschooling to ensure all children were indoctrinated in state ideology. New Jersey’s bill follows a similar path, forcing families to conform or face penalties,” he wrote. “The real motive here is monopoly protection. The Democratic Party functions as a wholly owned subsidiary of the teachers unions, which view homeschooling as a direct competitor.”

“At its core, A5825 violates the First Amendment by compelling government speech. Homeschool parents would be forced to teach state-mandated DEI content, even if it contradicts their values or beliefs (and often causes harm),” he added."'
