 Truly bizarre -- and sickening!! 

It seems to me that Leo has picked up where Bergoglio left off.

First, it was Pachamama, and now the worship of that weird idol has come full circle with a new, new, new novus ordo "mass" for Mother Earth worship (Gaia), all with the approval of Leo!

Apparently, idolatry has now been officially inculcated into the "church" of...?

Can things get anymore un-Catholic than that??

I have a terrible feeling that we are in for another -- or continued -- rough ride under Leo...

As an aside, I don't know if you have heard or read that the disastrous moto proprio issued by Bergoglio back in 2021, severely restricting the TLM and attacking traditional orders, was based on a massive lie.  Even the secular media couldn't hide the treasonous actions by the rogue "pope"!  

If that is the case, and it is, will Leo make right the horrendous wrongs inflicted by Bergoglio on those faithful Catholics who attend -- or, should I say, attended -- the TLM of the ages?

"(LifeSiteNews) — The Vatican released the texts for the new votive Mass “for the care of creation” Thursday and announced that Pope Leo XIV will use the new prayers for a private Mass with a group at Castel Gandolfo next week.

At 10 a.m. Rome time on July 3, the Holy See Press Office published a decree “on the formulary and Biblical readings for the Mass for the Care of Creation” – signed by the prefect of the Dicastery for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, Cardinal Arthur Roche, and his secretary Archbishop Vittorio Viola, OFM – and held a press conference for the release of the same.

The new formulary for the Mass “pro custodia creationis,” approved by Pope Leo XIV, has been added to the Masses “pro variis necessitatibus vel ad diversa,” or votive Masses, of the Roman Missal.

According to the decree, and making reference to Pope Francis’ encyclical letter Laudato si’ (LS), it was “considered appropriate” by the dicastery to institute the new Mass formulary since “it is evident that the work of creation is seriously threatened because of the irresponsible use and abuse of the goods God has endowed to our care (cf. Laudato si’ n. 2).”

Vatican News announced Thursday that Pope Leo XIV “will celebrate the first ‘Mass for the Care of Creation’” on July 9 in a private occasion with the staff of the “Borgo Laudato Sì’,” an educational group established by Pope Francis at Castel Gandolfo to promote “ecological conversion,” according to his encyclical letter.

The formulary includes a new Introit, Collect, Secret, Communion antiphon, and Postcommunion, as well as specially selected lections for the readings, Gospel, Alleluia versicle, and Psalms:

• Introit: “Cæli enárrant glóriam Dei, et ópera mánuum eius annúntiat firmaméntum.” – The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament proclaims the work of His hands.
• Collect: “Pater, qui in Christo, primogénito omnis creatúræ, univérsa ad exsisténtiam vocásti, præsta, quǽsumus, ut, dóciles Spíritus tui spiráculo vitæ, ópera mánuum tuárum in caritáte custodiámus. Per Dóminum.” – Father, who in Christ the firstborn of all creation, called all things into existence, grant, we beseech thee, that, docile to the breath of thy Spirit, we may preserve the works of thy hands in charity. Through the Lord.
• Secret: “Súscipe, Pater, hos fructus terræ nostrarúmque mánuum: pérfice in eis opus creatiónis tuæ ut, a Spíritu Sancto transformáti, cibus et potus vitæ ætérnæ pro nobis fiant. Presenting the new Mass texts were Cardinal Michael Czerny, S.J., prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, and Archbishop Vittorio Francesco Viola, OFM, secretary of the Dicastery for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments.

Speaking at the Thursday morning press conference, Viola explained the rationale behind the choice of prayers for the Mass, referencing heavily from Pope Francis and his encyclical Laudato si’ and the latterly published apostolic exhortation, Laudate Deum, “On the climate crisis.”

Viola said the new votive Mass “takes up some of the main positions contained in LS and expresses them in the form of a prayer within the theological framework that the encyclical revives.”

As an example, the prelate noted that the Offertory prayer “takes up and amplifies the words of the presentation of the gifts in a manner that encapsulates the theological concepts that inspire our liturgical contemplation of creation,” stating, “the entire history of salvation, of which creation is the foundation and beginning, culminates in the Lord’s Passover; the liturgy makes the paschal mystery present in a sacramental manner, renders it real and reveals its efficacy; in continuity with the logic of the Incarnation, what God has created and the work of human hands (bread, wine, oil, water…) reach their full meaning in the celebratory action; their nobility demands our contemplative gaze on created things, which changes our relationship with them.”

Likewise, Viola said that in the lections for the “Mass for the care of creation” the readings “may be seen as presenting a ‘challenge’ and an opportunity to commit to practicing the corrected hermeneutics of biblical texts” which he said were “emphasized” by Pope Francis in Laudato si’.

“Without such correction,” Viola said, “one risks supporting positions that are inconsistent with the truth of Revelation and holding, for example, the attitude that LS 69 defines as ‘distorted anthropocentrism.’”

Archbishop Czerny added that the new formulary came “in response to requests suggested by Laudato si’.” He stated that, for “the past decades” the Church has “continually affirmed the ‘mutual responsibility between human beings and nature’ (LS 67),” and asked that the new Mass prayers might “help us to learn how to care” for creation which “is always already present in the Catholic liturgy.”

To this end, the prelate stated his hope that the Mass acts as a call “to be faithful stewards of what God has entrusted to us – not only in daily choices and public policies, but also in our prayer, our worship, and our way of living in the world.”

“With this Mass,” Czerny stated, “the Church is offering liturgical, spiritual, and communal support for the care we all need to exercise of nature, our common home. Such service is indeed a great act of faith, hope, and charity.”

Concluding, Viola said Mass texts “are a good antidote against a certain reading of LS that risks reducing the depth of its content to a ‘false or superficial ecology’ (LS 59) far removed from that ‘integral ecology’ amply described and promoted in the encyclical (cf. LS chap. IV).”'

Question: Why Do Bishops Go Soft On Catholic Politicians Who Publicly Defy Church Teaching?

 Yes, why is that??

Another question: do the present cabal of bishops have any relationship with those Catholic Saint and Martyr bishops of days gone by? 

Remember the scene in the movie: A Man For All Seasons, when the bishops and other clergy met in the great hall and the representative of King Henry VIII arrived?

This character presented the choice of the "Catholics" in the hall of signing the oath of allegiance to the king, or??

He sweetened the pot and made the choice "easy" for them by offering about 100,000 pounds of filthy lucre...

(In today's money, that's about £27,469,870.00 (as of 2017))

The entire assembled group jumped at the chance to enrich their wallets and immediately apostatized from the Faith and became protestants!

Their agreement to sell-out the Faith, shows me that they never really held the Catholic Faith in the first place!

Is that the situation we are faced with today: bishops who don't hold the Catholic Faith??

"(Complicit Clergy) — After being brutally killed by a gunman at their home on June 14, Melissa and Mark Hortman were laid to rest after a live stream funeral Mass held at the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis on Saturday, June 28. This date on the Catholic calendar marked the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, a memorial focused on the interior life of Mary, her virtues, and her love for God and humanity.

During his homily, the Mass celebrant, Father Daniel Griffith, eulogized the Hortmans as living “lives of purpose and meaning, lives lived in service of others, in community with those they loved.” Reflecting on the tragic circumstances surrounding the Hortmans’ death, Fr. Griffith stated that “Our nation is in need of deep healing,” going on to claim that Minnesota has been “ground zero for racial injustice with the killing of George Floyd” and is “now ground zero for political violence and extremism.”

“Both of these must be decried in the strongest possible terms,” exclaimed Griffith, “as they are a threat to human dignity and our democracy.” However, Griffith failed to mention the myriad of threats to human dignity posed by Melissa Hortman’s decidedly anti-Catholic voting record in the Minnesota state legislature (see Hortman’s voting record at the bottom of this post).

Melissa Hortman publicly professed to be a Catholic on her Minnesota State Legislator profile. However, Hortman’s 20-year term in office was marked by a vicious record against women, babies, and the nuclear family. She voted to codify abortion into state law, legalize same-sex “marriage,” and even voted to withhold life-saving care for babies born alive during a failed abortion.

But the influence Hortman wielded among her Democratic peers as Minnesota Speaker of the House far exceeded her influence as a mere lawmaker. Governor Tim Walz went as far as calling Hortman the most consequential Speaker in state history. During the 2022 Democratic caucus, it was Hortman who commanded the sweeping slate of grossly immoral and anti-Christian legislative priorities. Recognizing the need to act swiftly and forcefully, Hortman declared, “We only know that we have these two years, so we are going to make every minute worth it!” “Let’s f**king go” became the caucus’ rallying cry.

One could easily make the case that the rotten fruits of Hortman’s evil actions far outweighed any threats to human dignity caused by racial injustice and political violence Fr. Griffith mentioned in his homily. Given this, why would Archbishop Bernard Hebda possibly agree to provide the Hortman family the use of the sacred Basilica of St. Mary, with a televised funeral Mass and choose to be prominently present himself, contradicting millennia of church practice and tradition?

Non-negotiable issues for Catholic politicians

The Catholic Church authoritatively teaches there are certain moral acts that are called “intrinsically evil,” meaning that the acts are evil in and of themselves. They include:

• Abortion,
• Euthanasia,
• Embryonic stem-cell research,
• Human cloning,
• Homosexual “marriage.”

When it comes to public policy, Catholic politicians have the responsibility to vigorously oppose these measures. Catholic politicians are held to a higher standard than ordinary Catholics due to the public nature of their actions. Hortman’s record demonstrates that she violated Catholic teaching on nearly all of these issues.

Catholic eschatology

Catholic eschatology, or the study of the “last things,” focuses on what happens at the end of human life and the world. The Church teaches there are four key events: death, judgment, Heaven, and Hell, often called the Four Last Things. These teachings are rooted in Scripture, Tradition, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Eschatology provides Catholics with a framework to understand their ultimate destiny and purpose. It emphasizes personal accountability and the hope of eternal life with God.

While the Catholic Church has never declared that any particular souls are in Hell, it does teach that 1) Hell exists and 2) people can and do go there. The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) specifically states:

• CCC 1033:“To die in mortal sin without repenting and accepting God’s merciful love means remaining separated from Him forever by our own free choice. This state of definitive self-exclusion from communion with God and the blessed is called Hell.”
• CCC 1861:“Mortal sin … results in the loss of charity and the privation of sanctifying grace. If it is not redeemed by repentance and God’s forgiveness, it causes exclusion from Christ’s kingdom and the eternal death of Hell.”

Responsibilities of shepherds

The Catholic Church teaches that priests and bishops bear a grave responsibility for the salvation of the souls entrusted to their care. This responsibility is rooted in their role as spiritual fathers, shepherds, and ministers of the sacraments, particularly the Eucharist and Reconciliation.

While love and mercy are central to the Gospel, they cannot be rightly understood without the full truth of God’s justice. A cleric who speaks only of love, while neglecting the reality of sin and eternal judgment, is not being truly charitable. True charity comes by warning souls of their eternal destiny.

Several Church teachings and documents emphasize the duty of Catholic shepherds:

1. The priest’s primary duty: The salvation of souls

• Canon Law (CIC 1752): “The salvation of souls, which must always be the supreme law of the Church, is to be kept before one’s eyes.”
• Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 1534, 1547): Priests act “in the name and in the person of Christ the Head” and are ordained for “the service of the faithful to lead them to salvation.”

2. The priest as shepherd and watchman

• Ezekiel 3:17-21(quoted frequently in Church documents): God warns the prophet (and by extension, all shepherds) that if he fails to warn sinners and they perish in their sin, the blood is on the watchman’s hands.
• John Vianney, the patron saint of parish priests, taught: “The priest is not for himself, he is for you … the salvation of souls is the supreme law.”

3. Preaching the truth, even when hard

Priests must preach the fullness of the faith, including moral teachings, even when unpopular:

• CCC 2032–2040: The Church’s Magisterium has the right and duty to proclaim moral principles and denounce injustice.
• Pope St. John Paul II, in Pastores Dabo Vobis(1992), wrote: “The priest cannot be content simply to be a passive administrator of the sacraments … he must be a fearless proclaimer of the truth.”
• Pope Benedict XVI emphasized that the priest must not be afraid to speak about sin and the need for conversion, as silence can be a form of betrayal.

4. Sacramental role in forgiveness and guidance

• Priests are ministers of mercy, especially in the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession). They have a duty to guide penitents toward genuine repentance and amendment of life.
• They must not condone sin or offer false assurance of salvation without conversion.

5. Accountability for souls

• Hebrews 13:17: Priests must give an account for the souls under their care.
• Gregory the Great, in Pastoral Rule, warns bishops and priests that negligent shepherds who fail to correct or teach will be judged severely.

The Church teaches that there are nine ways by which one can participate in the sins of another (CCC 1868). Shepherds who refuse to admonish politicians that attack Church teaching through their legislative and influential measures are guilty of participating in the sins of those politicians by way of concealment and silence. Shepherds know full well when a Catholic politician votes for an intrinsic evil (abortion, euthanasia, sodomitical “marriage,” etc.). These shepherds sin gravely when they conceal these votes and refuse to warn the faithful against them.

Hortmans’ shepherds

Who were the shepherds involved in the lives of Melissa and Mark Hortman?

• Father Joseph Whelan, pastor of Church of St. Timothy in Blaine, Minnesota, said the Hortmans were not currently listed as parishioners but people recalled Melissa Hortman teaching Sunday school there perhaps 25 years ago.
• We know that the Minnesota Bishops Conference (which currently includes Archbishop Bernard Hebda, Bishop Andrew Cozzens, Bishop Chad Zielinski, Bishop Daniel Felton, Bishop Patrick Neary and Bishop Robert Barron) met annually with Speaker-Emerita Melissa Hortman and that Archbishop Hebda knew her “to be an honorable public servant,” although they “disagreed on some issues.”
• Along with Archbishop Hebda, Bishop Richard Pates, a former resident of the archdiocese, attended the Hortman funeral Mass, suggesting he may have previously had a relationship with the Hortmans.
• During the funeral Mass, Fr. Griffith also mentioned Father Harry Tasto as being a “longtime friend of the family.”

Did these shepherds even privately seek to counsel and admonish Melissa Hortman regarding the teachings of the Catholic faith on non-negotiable moral issues? It would seem that any one of Minnesota’s six ordinary bishops would have had the opportunity to confront Hortman during their annual meeting at the State Capitol.

In particular, Hortman’s bishop, Archbishop Hebda, seemed to trivialize Hortman’s anti-Catholic positions by stating that they “disagreed on some issues.” Why would he have allowed Hortman to publicly profess to be Catholic while failing to confront her obstinate sins by employing the corresponding public remedies, such as the withholding of Holy Communion or excommunication? Did Hebda not recognize the public scandal he was helping to create by failing to act?

Funerals for manifest sinners

Canon 1184 of the Code of Canon Law (1983) states:

1. Unless they gave some signs of repentance before death, the following must be deprived of ecclesiastical funerals:

• Notorious apostates, heretics, and schismatics;
• Those who chose cremation for reasons contrary to Christian faith;
• Other manifest sinners who cannot be granted ecclesiastical funerals without public scandal of the faithful.

Canon 1185 adds that no funeral Mass is to be celebrated for a person excluded under 1184. The focus is on “manifest sinners” (those whose sin is publicly known) and when a funeral would cause public scandal (i.e., when it would appear the Church is condoning the sin).

Kennedy funeral parallels

After the death of Senator Ted Kennedy in 2009, a number of leading Catholic voices spoke out against the funeral Mass provided for him in Boston.

At a dinner sponsored by InsideCatholic.com, Cardinal Raymond Burke stated:

To ignore the fact that Catholics in public life, for example, who persistently violate the moral law regarding the inviolability of innocent human life or the integrity of the marital union, lead many into confusion or even error regarding the most fundamental teachings of the moral law, in fact, contributes to the confusion and error, redounding to the gravest harm to our brothers and sisters, and, therefore, to the whole nation. The perennial discipline of the Church, for that reason among other reasons, has prohibited the giving of Holy Communion and the granting of a Church funeral to those who persist, after admonition, in the grave violation of the moral law (Code of Canon Law, c. 915; and 1184, § 1, 3º).

It is said that these disciplines which the Church has consistently observed down the centuries presume to pass a judgment on the eternal salvation of a soul, which belongs to God alone, and, therefore, should be abandoned. On the contrary, these disciplines are not a judgment on the eternal salvation of the soul in question. They are simply the acknowledgment of an objective truth, namely, that the public actions of the soul are in violation of the moral law, to his own grave harm and to the grave harm of all who are confused or led into error by his actions. The Church confides every soul to the mercy of God, which is great beyond all our imagining, but that does not excuse her from proclaiming the truth of the moral law, also by applying her age-old disciplines, for the sake of the salvation of all.

Bishop René Henry Gracida also condemned Kennedy’s funeral. Writing on his blog, Bishop Gracida stated:

There was so much wrong with the funeral liturgy celebrated in Boston last Saturday for Senator Edward Moore Kennedy that I hardly know where to begin.

Catholic commentator Phil Lawler also blasted the Kennedy funeral Mass, stating:

The great, unanswered question hanging over the congregation in Mission Church, and in the minds of the millions who watched the funeral Mass on television, was how the Catholic Church could arrange such a highly public tribute to a man who, over the years, was arguably the most powerful political opponent of the Catholic position on the central moral issue of our time: the battle to protect human life.

Lawler went on to state:

Unlike private sins, which can be absolved in sacramental Confession, serious public sins require some form of public amendment, to address the scandal that they create. Ted Kennedy never recanted his support for abortion, and so he remained in open conflict with his Church. To allow a public funeral for him meant allowing for the perception that the Church is not really serious about the abortion issue, and thus creating a new public scandal.

Conclusion

The Catholic Church always hopes for God’s mercy and never presumes to definitively judge the destiny of souls. If there are any signs of repentance (even interior or indirect), the Church may decide to grant a funeral Mass for manifest sinners. However, in ambiguous cases, pastors are required to consult the bishop (Canon 1184 §2).

In the case of the Hortmans, Archbishop Bernard Hebda elected to allow a Catholic funeral Mass at a prominent basilica in his archdiocese,  potentially causing grave scandal with a publicly televised Mass and the presence of several priests and at least two bishops.

Regardless of one’s political views, faithful Catholics should fervently pray for the repose of the souls of Melissa and Mark Hortman, with the hope that in God’s infinite mercy, their eternal salvation shall be accomplished. Every bishop in this nation likely has at least one elected official who publicly professes to be Catholic but supports an anti-Catholic agenda in public policy."

"ATLANTA (LifeSiteNews) — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found newborn babies who received the Hepatitis B vaccine had 1,135-percent higher autism rates than those who did not or received it later in life, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Tucker Carlson recently. However, the CDC practiced “trickery” in its studies on autism so as not to implicate vaccines, Kennedy said.

RFK Jr., who is the current Secretary of Health and Human Services, said the CDC buried the results by manipulating the data. Kennedy has pledged to find the causes of autism, with a particular focus on the role vaccines may play in the rise in rates in the past decades.

The Hepatitis B shot is required by nearly every state in the U.S. for children to attend school, day care, or both. The CDC recommends the jab for all babies at birth, regardless of whether their mother has Hep B, which is easily diagnosable and commonly spread through sexual activity, piercings, and tattoos.

“They kept the study secret and then they manipulated it through five different iterations to try to bury the link and we know how they did it – they got rid of all the older children essentially and just had younger children who were too young to be diagnosed and they stratified that, stratified the data,” Kennedy told Carlson for an episode of the commentator’s podcast. “And they did a lot of other tricks and all of those studies were the subject of those kind of that kind of trickery.”

But now, Kennedy said, the CDC will be conducting real and honest scientific research that follows the highest standards of evidence.

“We’re going to do real science,” Kennedy said. “We’re going to make the databases public for the first time.”

He said the CDC will be compiling records from variety of sources to allow researchers to do better studies on vaccines.

“We’re going to make this data available for independent scientists so everybody can look at it,” the HHS secretary said.

Health and Human Services also said it has put out grant requests for scientists who want to study the issue further.

Kennedy reiterated that by September there will be some initial insights and further information will come within the next six months.

Carlson asked if the answers would “differ from status quo kind of thinking.”

“I think they will,” Kennedy said. He continued on to say that people “need to stop trusting the experts.”

“We were told at the beginning of COVID ‘don’t look at any data yourself, don’t do any investigation yourself, just trust the experts,”‘ he said.

In a democracy, Kennedy said, we have the “obligation” to “do our own research.”

“That’s the way it should be done,” Kennedy said.

He also reiterated that HHS will return to “gold standard science” and publish the results so everyone can review them."

Israeli Soldiers Ordered To Shoot At Aid-Seekers In Gaza Who ‘Posed No Threat’!!

The following story is something that most of the mainstream media will not report or, perhaps, distort what is actually going on in the Gaza Strip.

It is no secret to those "boots on the ground," that such genocide continues unabated right before their eyes...

Notice in the story that the soldiers decry their orders to shoot at those civilians attempting to get some food stuffs but carry out their orders nonetheless!

(Remember those Nazi murderers at the Nuremburg trials: I was just carrying out orders...)

"(Antiwar.com) — Israeli soldiers speaking with Haaretz say they received orders to fire on desperate Palestinians attempting to reach aid distribution sites in Gaza. Over 550 Palestinians have been killed trying to get aid in the past month.

“Israeli soldiers in Gaza told Haaretz that the army has deliberately fired at Palestinians near aid distribution sites,” the outlet explains. “Conversations with officers and soldiers reveal that commanders ordered troops to shoot at crowds to drive them away or disperse them, even though it was clear they posed no threat.”

Earlier this week, the Gaza Health Ministry reported that 549 Palestinians have been killed and over 4,000 injured since Israel restarted aid distribution near the end of May. The IDF has even fired on Palestinians waiting to receive aid with drones and tanks.

One soldier explained to Haaretz, “It’s a killing field.” They added that the Israeli soldiers fired at the Palestinians even though the aid-seekers did not present a threat. An officer told the outlet, “It’s neither ethically nor morally acceptable for people to have to reach, or fail to reach, a [humanitarian zone] under tank fire, snipers and mortar shells.”

A doctor in Gaza speaking to NBC News about the aid sites in Gaza said, “It’s a death trap, it’s a slaughterhouse.” They report receiving dozens of patients daily who were wounded near the aid sites.

Haaretz reports that Israeli forces opened fire at Palestinians near aid sites at least 19 times over the past month. Soldiers said some Palestinian militias backed by Tel Aviv have also fired on civilians, including the ISIS-linked Abu Shabab.

On Thursday, at least 18 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli air strike while attempting to receive aid that the Gaza police had recovered from looters.

At the beginning of March, Tel Aviv broke a ceasefire and hostage exchange deal with Hamas by cutting off all aid entering the Strip. Near the end of May, Israel began allowing the U.S.-based Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) to distribute a limited amount of aid in Gaza.

Human rights groups warned that the GHF’s distribution plan would be insufficient. Over the past week, children have died of deprivation. On Thursday, two infants at the Al-Nassar Hospital in Khan Younis died due to a lack of formula.

The U.S. recently approved sending $30 million to the GHF. The leader of the GHF, Rev Johnny Moore, is a close ally of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The doctors who spoke with NBC News said that Israeli aid restrictions are the cause of the formula shortages that are now killing Gazan babies."
