Let's Get Serious: Who Do These People Think Their Kidding?? New Mexico Archbishop Reinstates "Priest" Who Lived In Homosexual ‘Partnership’ For A Decade!!

WARNING!  WARNING!  WARNING!

THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE HAS VERY DISTURBING INFORMATION AND WORDING THAT SOME WILL PROBABLY FIND OFFENSIVE AND DOWNRIGHT DISGUSTING!

But such are the goings on in the novus ordo, synodal church...

(Those are my air quotes around the word "priest" in the headline.

Can you guess why?)

I ask the question again: who do these people (homosexuals) think their kidding?

They don't even try to hide these massive scandals!  It's like they know that nothing will happen to them -- at least not in this life!

Where is Rome?

Where is the pope?

Yet these are the same phonies that cancel the Mass of the Ages (the TLM) and relegate one single TLM Mass somewhere out in the boonies, where faithful folks have to travel a zillion miles, many with large families in tow.

So where is the justice in all of this?

There is none.

But when faithful professors try to point out the scandal and confusion and adhere to Church teaching, they get kicked out of the seminaries and lose their jobs...

Again, where is the justice in all of this?

So, a known pervert wearing the Roman collar, has his cake and gets to eat it too by getting a cushy job in close proximity to the young and impressionable, not to mention those young men seeking to become priests of Our Lord, the faithful are rightly up-in-arms!

The following article is from lifesitenews.com and written by Louis

A few days later, he posted a link to the History Channel’s description of the history of the LGBT movement’s rainbow flag.

On January 26, 2021, Rosera posted an article from America Magazine on the bishops who signed the Tyler Clemente statement – of which Abp. Wester was one. Again, this would have been just after Rosera was reinstated as a priest in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe.

On July 1, 2020, Rosera shared Governor Michelle Grisham’s “Happy Pride” message.

On November 2, 2019, Rosera was quoted by New Ways Ministry in an article elevating sexual deviants and their supporters to the level of “sainthood.” Speaking on the homosexual activist Harvey Milk, Rosera was quoted thusly:

“More than anyone I can think of, Harvey Milk inspired millions of people who were made to feel that their lives only mattered as long as they kept their true selves in a box. He gave to generations of LGBTQ+ the realization that they mattered as much as anyone else… he gave them hope.”  — Steve Rosera, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

On June 25, 2016, Rosera posted a “Happy Pride” message along with a picture of the rainbow flag and the pink triangle.

Rosera’s current priestly status and background

In addition to his role as pastor of Immaculate Conception, Rosera also oversees St. Mary’s Catholic School, a diocesan K-8 school. This is particularly alarming considering none of his past activities as an LGBT activist nor his time as a registered “domestic partner” in a homosexual relationship is indicated anywhere for parents to discern.

But worse still is the fact that Abp. Wester named Fr. Rosera as the dean of the Albuquerque “C” deanery of priests, which spans 13 parishes within the Santa Fe Archdiocese.

Both the Diocese of Toledo and the Diocese of Cleveland provide articles explaining what a deanery is. While particulars may be different (such as who appoints a dean – in Toledo, a dean is elected from among the priests, whereas in Cleveland, the dean is appointed by the bishop) may be different, the general idea is basically the same. Pulling from both articles, the notion of a dean and a deanery are as follows:

A Deanery is a geographic area comprising Catholic parishes and institutions, overseen by a diocesan priest – who represents the bishop – with the title Dean. Deans may either be elected by their brother priests or appointed by the local ordinary, but the role of the dean is to support the clergy of the deanery, oversee the pastoral life of the parishes, coordinate pastoral planning, and advance those plans.

In essence, a dean acts – in a manner of speaking – as a little “b” bishop, with some authority to act on the bishop’s behalf.  That Fr. Rosera was appointed by Abp. Wester as a dean within the archdiocese – despite knowing his history of debauchery – speaks very poorly to the archbishop’s judgment and sense of responsibility.

And perhaps worst of all, as if to knowingly and openly mock the sacrament of marriage itself, Abp. Wester has appointed Rosera to the diocesan marriage tribunal as a judge and defender of the bond, canonical roles within the Church’s court tasked with examining, arguing for, or judging the validity of marriages that have been submitted to the bishop for an annulment. According to the Church’s Canon Law, Rosera’s debauched history would bar him from all exercise of priestly functions, let alone judging the validity of Holy Sacraments.

Canonical penalties

A priest entering into a formally recorded homosexual relationship constitutes an extremely grave violation of both the Sixth Commandment and the priestly promise of celibacy. As such, it carries serious canonical penalties.

An attempted marriage with a woman by a priest under the promise of celibacy is invalid and subject to canonical penalty. An open homosexual relationship which simulates a marriage is a violation of the very nature of marriage itself, and is a more serious violation of celibacy because homosexual acts are sins against nature itself.

Canon 1394 of the Church’s Code of Canon Law states that

… a cleric who attempts marriage, even if only civilly, incurs a latae sententiae suspension. If he does not repent after being warned and continues to give scandal, he can be punished gradually by privations or even by dismissal from the clerical state.

Priests who are suspended by an ecclesiastical law cannot publicly exercise any priestly function. No latae sententiae suspension has been publicly declared by any bishop against Rosera, nor has any latae sententiae suspension been publicly lifted, as far as the Lepanto Institute is aware.

Instead of publicly incurring suspension from priestly ministry, Rosera has been reinstated in ministry by Archbishop Wester and has been place over a parish, grade school, deanery of priests, and the diocesan marriage tribunal.

A shared residence with pro-LGBT Archbishop Wester

Not only does Rosera enjoy prominence within the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, but he also shares a residence with Archbishop Wester – himself outspokenly pro-LGBT – raising even further questions.

Clergy of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe have confirmed directly to Lepanto, as eyewitnesses, that Archbishop Wester and Fr. Rosera both live in the former Jesuit residence at Immaculate Conception Parish in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Rosera is appointed as pastor. While the archbishop often celebrates Mass at the cathedral in Santa Fe on weekends, he lives during the week at the former Jesuit residence at Immaculate Conception.

The same clergy, who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of retribution, also affirmed that Rosera’s previous homosexual relationship during his leave of absence is widely known among the older priests of the archdiocese and that the archbishop certainly knows of it.

According to the testimony of fellow clergy, Rosera never loses an opportunity to “include” and “promote” homosexuals within the local church. Local clergy have told Lepanto that Rosera has a “soft spot” for homosexuals.

Laity, who have also requested anonymity, have also expressed to Lepanto their dismay at the scandal of a priest who lived in a simulated homosexual “marriage,” now sitting as judge on the marriage tribunal for the archdiocese. The duplicity of the situation, they said, is cause for great alarm especially among Catholic parents.

Archbishop Wester has himself promoted same-sex “marriage”, publicly stating he sees no objection to baptizing children of same-sex “couples” and arguing in favor of blessing same-sex “couples” following the Vatican’s promulgation of Fiducia supplicans. Wester is also the episcopal moderator for the heretical Association of U.S. Catholic Priests (AUSCP), infamous for promoting women’s ordination to the priesthood and LGBT ideology within the Church.

While bishop of Salt Lake City, Utah, Abp. Wester elevated a woman who had received contributions from Planned Parenthood for a political campaign. The woman had also advocated for LGBT ideology and contraception as part of her campaign against Catholic moral teaching.

Wester has also defended programs conducted by Catholic Relief Services (CRS), which openly promote masturbation as a form of safe sex. He has likewise defended the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD), which receives large grants from the U.S. Bishops’ Conference, despite decades of public evidence that the CCHD finances many pro-abortion, pro-LGBT, and Marxist organizations in the amount of hundreds of thousands of dollars drawn from the Catholic faithful.

Wester’s reinstatement and elevation of Rosera, despite his having entered a same sex “domestic partnership” and his long public advocacy for LGBT ideology, in contradiction to both Church teaching and Canon Law, appears to be yet another lavender-mafia promotion of homosexuals within the ranks of the clergy.

Lay faithful have stated to Lepanto that they perceive Wester’s appointment of Rosera to the marriage tribunal as a perverse mockery of the sanctity of marriage, and clergy have said they understand his elevation as dean of priests to be a signal to the presbyterate of the price of promotion under their current archbishop.

The Papal Nuncio to the U.S., Cardinal Christophe Pierre, has been made aware of Rosera’s same sex relationship and his current privileged status in Sant Fe.

The Lepanto Institute has reached out by email to both Archbishop Wester and Fr. Rosera with direct questions on the scandal of the situation but received no reply before press time. This report will be updated should either respond."

End of very disturbing and revealing article!

"The Irony Is Inescapable: Newman’s Attempt To Defend Anglicanism Became The Very Instrument Of His Conversion."

John Henry Newman First Tried to Disprove Catholicism; Now He’s Being Named a Doctor of the Church

As you may or may not know, John Newman was once a cradle Anglican, and disputed, or attempted to prove the realities of the Catholic Faith -- wrong...

As the headline and the article will point out, in his research and study, he came to the conclusion that the Catholic Church was/is the true Church founded by Our Lord and Savior, Jesus, on the Rock of St. Peter.

Yes, how ironic!

Now, if all good-willed Protestants would just look deeply into the realities of what the early Church Fathers taught -- only years from the Apostles themselves, they would or should come to the conclusion that the-now Sainted Cardinal Newman was correct in his findings -- and conversion!

(Note: St. Ignatius, bishop of Antioch -- was appointed to that bishopric by St. Peter himself, and St. Polycarp, bishop of Smyrna in Asia Minor, appointed by St. John!)

From crisismagazine.com and written by

comes this article: John Henry Newman First Tried to Disprove Catholicism; Now He’s Being Named a Doctor of the Church - Crisis Magazine

"For much of his life, John Henry Newman was a towering figure in the Church of England. A brilliant theologian, preacher, and professor at Oxford, he was widely respected for his intellect and piety. As a longtime Anglican priest, Newman devoted himself to defending the Church of England against both secularism and the perceived errors of Catholicism. Yet, in a dramatic twist of providence, the very work he undertook to defend Anglicanism ultimately led him to embrace the Catholic Church he had long opposed.

Newman was a central figure in the Oxford Movement (1833–1845), a group of Anglican scholars and clergy who sought to revive the Church of England’s connection to its ancient Catholic roots. They emphasized the importance of the early Church Fathers, apostolic succession, liturgical beauty, and the sacraments—all while remaining firmly within the Anglican tradition. Newman and his colleagues believed the Church of England represented a via media, or middle way, between the extremes of Protestant reform and Roman Catholic authority.

As opposition to the Oxford Movement grew and theological disputes intensified, Newman felt compelled to defend the integrity of Anglicanism on firmer intellectual ground. In doing so, he set out to write a theological work that would distinguish Anglican teaching from Roman Catholicism while still affirming its legitimacy as the true inheritor of apostolic Christianity. The result was his 1845 masterpiece, An Essay on the Development of Christian Doctrine.

The irony is inescapable: Newman’s attempt to defend Anglicanism became the very instrument of his conversion.

As Newman studied Church history with increasing depth, he became convinced that many of the teachings he had rejected as Catholic “additions”—like the papacy, Marian devotion, and purgatory—were not corruptions but organic developments growing from the seed of apostolic teaching. In contrast, he found the Anglican claim to possess full continuity with the early Church historically fragile and theologically inconsistent.

It was in this context that Newman wrote his now-famous line: “To be deep in history is to cease to be Protestant.”

By the time he finished writing the Essay, Newman had already made up his mind. His intellectual honesty, coupled with years of spiritual struggle, brought him to the conviction that the Catholic Church was the true continuation of the Church founded by Christ. In October 1845, he was received into the Church by the Italian Passionist missionary Blessed Dominic Barberi.

The conversion stunned English society and scandalized many of his former Anglican colleagues. For them, Newman had not just left a church; he had joined an enemy.

But Newman’s journey was not one of betrayal—it was one of integrity. He had followed the truth wherever it led, even at great personal and professional cost. But Newman’s journey was not one of betrayal—it was one of integrity. He had followed the truth wherever it led, even at great personal and professional cost.Tweet This

In the years that followed, Newman became one of the most celebrated Catholic thinkers in the English-speaking world. He was eventually named a cardinal by Pope Leo XIII in 1879. His influence extended far beyond theology into education, philosophy, and literature. In 2019, Pope Francis canonized him as St. John Henry Newman, recognizing his holiness, brilliance, and enduring impact.

Now, Pope Leo XIV is preparing to name St. John Henry Newman a Doctor of the Church, a title reserved for saints whose theological writings have contributed significantly to the universal understanding of the Faith. Such an honor would affirm what many Catholics have long recognized: Newman’s insights into doctrine, conscience, and the development of faith remain essential for our time.

Newman’s story is especially powerful today, as many sincere Protestants wrestle with questions of authority, doctrine, and historical continuity. His own journey is a reminder that the search for truth must be grounded in both faith and reason. Perhaps our prayer might be that St. John Henry Newman will continue to lead others toward the fullness of truth and the beauty of the Catholic Faith.

His life stands as a witness to the idea that God sometimes works through irony—and that those who seek to defend error in good faith may ultimately become its most effective critics simply by following the truth to its source."

Traditional Catholics: Does This Sound Familiar?? Massachusetts Police Training Group Lists Moms For Liberty As ‘Extremist’ Organization!!

The moral rot that underpins just about all of secular society, and the ongoing spiritual rot in the novus ordo, "synodal" church -- as the novus ordo church goes, so goes society! -- continues to be made manifest by revelations, not only by whistleblowers, but also by in-your-face "mainstream" entities on a daily basis.

Witness the attacks on traditional Catholics and their (our) places of worship by the corrupt FBI led by the liar C. Wray, under the just as corrupt, former, treasonous Biden cabal that held the nation hostage for four, long and disastrous years!

Yes, he lied under oath about that infamous memo that originally circulated out of the Virginia FBI field office -- but later confirmed that the memo had been circulated to other offices, especially on the West coast, to spy and garner information from Catholic priests and music directors, as well as "disenchanted" parishioners who attend the traditional Latin Mass, that is, if they could find any!!

If you remember, the other traitor, M. Garland, who headed the so-called U.S. Department of Justice -- a real misnomer! -- also lied about that disgusting memo...

Now, the damned state of Massachusetts, has fallen prey to the racist, Marxist organization known as the Southern Poverty Law Center and their lies and smears about anyone who dares to proclaim the Natural Law -- in a world that hates Christ Our Lord.

As you will see in this article from lifesitenews.com and written by Jonathon Van Maren Mon Aug 4, 2025 - 11:32 am EDT: Massachusetts police training group lists Moms for Liberty as ‘extremist’ organization - LifeSite, even, or should I say, especially parents, continue to be targeted by "law enforcement" organizations for the "crime" of attempting to protect their children and keep filth out of the indoctrination centers known as the public school system.

"(LifeSiteNews) — According to training materials obtained by The Daily Wire, the Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Committee (MPTC), which trains over 20,000 police officers across the state, listed the parental rights group Moms for Liberty as a “hate group” along with the Marxist extremist group Antifa and neo-Nazi organizations.

Screenshots shared with the conservative outlet show Moms for Liberty listed as an “anti-government extremist group,” the designation given to them by the progressive political outlet Southern Poverty Law Center in 2023. The screenshots show MPTC putting the group’s stated agenda of defending parental rights in mocking quotation marks to indicate insincerity. It isn’t just Moms for Liberty – groups like Katy Faust’s children’s rights organization Them Before Us has also been designated a “hate group” by the SPLC:

In fact, this characterization of Moms for Liberty is a deliberate demonization and an overt deceit. The parental right group seeks to organize concerned mothers and fathers who wish to push back against the queering and sexualization of American public education. “We are dedicated to fighting for the survival of America by unifying, educating and empowering parents to defend their parental rights at all levels of government,” their website reads.

In short, Moms for Liberty is utilizing the democratic process to influence outcomes. They are labeled as a “hate group” and “extremist” by those who support the sexual revolution’s hijacking of American public education. In fact, the U.S. Supreme Court recently endorsed the position on parental rights held by Moms for Liberty, a fact that could ostensibly place the Court in the “Hate Groups” category of Massachusetts police training.

In fact, the MPTC material claimed that Moms for Liberty “members use parents’ rights as a vehicle to attack public education and make schools less welcoming for minority and [so-called] LGBTQ+ students” – a position explicitly repudiated by the Supreme Court in June. As The Christian Post reported, the “training also appeared to lump Moms for Liberty in with the radical-left wing group Antifa, which was involved with many of the riots that led to widespread property damage in the wake of George Floyd’s death.”

Moms for Liberty began as a small parental rights organization in Florida in 2021, but exploded into a 300-chapter juggernaut with over 130,000 members, campaigning successfully to put parental rights advocates on school boards and pass policies removing sexually explicit materials for schools. This is what the MPTC refers to as making schools “less welcoming” for “LGBTQ+ students.”

“Moms for Liberty is here to show up at school board meetings, speak out against curriculum, failing schools, inappropriate books maybe in your public school library,” Tina Descovich, a mother of five who co-founded Moms for Liberty, told The Daily Wire. “Antifa is burning down whole cities and parts of cities and rioting in the streets. These two are not equivalent. We want parents to have the ability to opt out of sexualized books or curriculum, things that don’t align with their religious beliefs as the Supreme Court just affirmed in their most recent ruling in the Montgomery County, Maryland case.”

Descovich says that Moms for Liberty members in Plymouth, Massachusetts, have asked the police why their state would target them with these unfounded smears. “You know, we have parental rights that were given to us by God,” she stated. “We just want parents to be the driving factor in a child’s education.” As The Christian Post noted: “Earlier this year, a state audit found the MPTC’s training curriculum to be ‘inadequate’ and that the committee engaged in poor record-keeping, according to a local CBS affiliate.”

Moms for Liberty has been singled out because they have successfully engaged with the democratic process and won a series of high-profile victories. Consequently, progressive activists within law enforcement have used their influence – with assistance from activist organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center – to dub these parents “extremists” and a “hate group” on par with genuine rioters, racists, and revolutionaries. This is precisely why conservatives who take political power must work to reform the institutions they govern and root out this anti-Christian bigotry."

End of article...

Why should we be surprised as the Massachusetts governor, M. Healey, is an open -- and proud! -- lesbian!

Over 800,000 Young Catholics From Around The World Gather With Pope Leo For Prayer Vigil In Rome

From breitbartnews.com and written by Breitbart News 2 Aug 2025: VIDEO: Over 800,000 Young Catholics from Around the World Gather with Pope Leo for Prayer Vigil in Rome

"Over 800,000 to one million young Catholics from around the world greeted Pope Leo XIV like a rock star Saturday at an open-air prayer vigil outside Rome, after the head of the Catholic Church made a dramatic entrance by helicopter.

Pilgrims began cheering when the white military helicopter descended over the sprawling, open-air site in Rome’s eastern outskirts.

Organisers said more than 800,000 young pilgrims from 146 countries around the world had assembled there as part of a “Jubilee of Youth” — and perhaps as many as a million.

Smiling broadly from his popemobile, the first American pope waved to throngs of young, screaming pilgrims lining his route, many of them running for a better vantage point.

They had already spent the day in the hot sun listening to music, praying and talking with fellow Catholics.

“The pope is here!” announced an excited voice over the public address, to thunderous applause and cheers from the crowd.

But the tenor of the event soon became more solemn and contemplative as the pope took to the stage, carrying a large wood cross.

“Dear young people, after walking, praying and sharing these days of grace of the Jubilee dedicated to you, we now gather together in the light of the advancing evening to keep vigil together,” Leo, 69, told them.

A Catholic ‘Woodstock’

In the crowd was French pilgrim Julie Mortier, 18, whose voice was hoarse from singing and screaming for hours.

“We’re too happy to be here! Seeing the pope, that’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!” she croaked happily to AFP.

Event organisers said people had continued to arrive during the vigil and that it was possible that attendance numbers had reached one million.

Most pilgrims said they would camp overnight for a Sunday morning mass at the site led by Leo. That will mark the culmination of the week-long youth pilgrimage, a key event in the Catholic Church’s Jubilee holy year.

Some in the crowd were so far away, they could not see the massive stage with a golden arch and towering cross that dominated the vast open area — which at over 500,000 square metres was the size of around 70 football fields.

“I’m so happy to be here, even if I’m a bit far from the pope. I knew what to expect!” British student Andy Hewellyn told AFP.

“The main thing is that we’re all together,” he said ahead of the pope’s appearance, as other young people nearby played guitars, sang, or snoozed in the sun.

Italian broadcaster Rai dubbed the event a Catholic “Woodstock”, as throughout the day nearly two dozen musical and dance groups, many of them religious, entertained the crowds, who lounged among blankets, cushions and umbrellas.

In a video message, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni welcomed pilgrims to the capital, who were “praying, singing, joking amongst themselves, celebrating in an extraordinary party.”

Meloni also noted that the site of Saturday’s vigil was the same location where “25 years ago, Saint John Paul II gathered over two million people and spoke words that have gone down in history. That day 25 years ago changed the lives of so many. It healed wounds, opened eyes, and showed the way.”

The “Jubilee of Youth”, which began Monday, comes nearly three months after the start of Leo’s papacy, and 25 years after the last such massive youth gathering in Rome under Poland’s Pope John Paul II.

Early Saturday, countless groups of young people set off from central Rome for the venue in Tor Vergata after filling water bottles, applying suncream and adjusting backpacks.

They were ready to spend the next 24 hours surrounded by a crowd of people and then sleep under the stars.

Victoria Perez, who carried a Spanish flag, could not contain her excitement at seeing “the pope up close”.

“It’s the first time I’m going to see him, and I can’t wait,” the 21-year-old told AFP, looking forward to a “night of prayers under the stars”.

French pilgrim Quentin Remaury, 26, said he had been inspired by the late pope Francis’s rousing message to youth during a 2016 visit to Krakow, Poland.

“Pope Francis told us to ‘get off your couches,’ and that really gave me a boost,” he said.

Open-air confessional

Throughout the week, attendees have participated in Church-planned events, such as confession at Circus Maximus, one of Rome’s top tourist spots.

On Friday, approximately 1,000 priests were on hand, with 200 white gazebos serving as makeshift confessionals lining the hippodrome where chariot races were once held in Ancient Rome and near the sites where ancient Christians were once martyred for their faith.

The pilgrimage unfolds as under-30s navigate economic uncertainty, climate change, and ongoing international conflict, with some pilgrims travelling from war-torn areas like Syria and Ukraine.

Samarei Semos, 29, who said she had travelled three days from her native Belize to get to Rome, said she hoped Leo would have a strong say about “third world countries”.

The Vatican said that before the vigil the pope had met and prayed with travelers accompanying an 18-year-old Egyptian pilgrim who died Friday night.

Rai News reported that the young woman had died of a heart attack on a bus while returning to her lodging from an event in Rome.

Amid tight security, more than 4,300 volunteers and over 1,000 police are watching over the vigil, organisers said."
