Of course, the university denies participation of such madness, but the fact remains that they knew of this demonic attempt to influence -- and recruit! -- the impressionable minors to help women kill their pre-born babies!
"(LifeSiteNews) — A taxpayer-funded university in North Carolina faced fire from its own congressman after the school allowed a left-wing group to host an event to train teenagers on how to work as “abortion doulas.”
However, the school says it did not host the event itself.
The College Fix first broke the story about how the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, along with other universities, were allowing events on campus hosted by the Youth Abortion Support Collective, which is a project of Advocates for Youth.
The left-wing group supports the intentional killing of innocent preborn babies – and wants 14-year-olds to learn how to assist women in destroying their own children. American University, Davidson College, and the University of Maryland at College Park all had the events on campus.
“According to materials on its website, the collective runs training programs specifically designed for young people ages 14-24,” The College Fix reported on March 27.
“The abortion doula training is typically delivered as a multi-week course, often six to seven weeks long, composed of sessions lasting around two hours each,” according to The College Fix. “Participants are introduced to the role of an abortion doula, defined in the training as someone who can ‘physically, emotionally, and/or spiritually hold space’ for individuals undergoing abortion.”
UNC-Charlotte hosted such an event last November. News of the event drew criticism from Congressman Mark Harris, who pressed the school for answers.
“Allowing the abortion industry to recruit and train impressionable minors as young as 14 years old on a public university campus is deeply inappropriate and raises serious concerns about the responsible use of public resources and the university’s priorities,” Harris wrote to Chancellor Sharon Gaber. Fox News Digital obtained an exclusive copy of the letter.
“North Carolinians who fund this institution and have deeply held views on the sanctity of life deserve transparency and accountability,” Harris wrote further.

The Republican asked the school what role, if any, the school played in organizing the event and whether future abortion doula programs were planned for the future.
“Public universities have a duty to steward tax dollars responsibly and maintain an environment appropriate for all students, including minors,” Harris wrote. “Partnering with an organization advancing a radical progressive agenda to minors undermines this trust and sends a concerning message to young people.”
He also said the university should “reconsider future partnerships with similar organizations to ensure future decisions better reflect the values and expectations of North Carolina taxpayers.”
The university, meanwhile, downplayed its role, saying that an outside group organized the event.
A spokesperson told Fox News:
We have shared accurate information with Representative Harris and his office and clarified the nature of this event. This was not a university-sponsored event, and no university funds were used. As noted previously, the activity was organized by a registered student organization.
Harris did respond to that message and thanked the school for its response.
“I look forward to working alongside the university to ensure something like this never happens again,” he wrote, thanking the school for its “quick response.”
The Advocates for Youth program had also faced criticism from Monica Cline, a former Planned Parenthood sex educator who is now a pro-life activist.
“The abortion and sex education movements have long worked toward peer education,” Cline told The College Fix. “My concern is that our society is normalizing the sexualization of children … and even placing them in roles where they are facilitating or supporting life-altering medical decisions.”
