Heterodox, Heretic, Homosexual, Jesuit James Martin Agrees With Radical, Pro-Abortion Lunatic W. Goldberg, That The Sins That Cry To Heaven Are Not Specifically Mentioned In The Ten Commandments!

I think that bears repeating: Heterodox, Heretic, Homosexual, Jesuit James Martin Agrees With Radical, Pro-Abortion Lunatic W. Goldberg, That The Sins That Cry To Heaven Are Not Specifically Mentioned In The Ten Commandments!

So, if that is what they believe, then I take it those sins are "oaky" to commit because God will "understand"?

Could it be that these miscreants simply don't believe that along with certain actions comes not only "mercy," but more importantly -- JUSTICE!  In fact, there is no mercy without justice!

How convenient the idea of Justice is relegated to the back burner when it comes to the most heinous of sins!

But the inconvenient truth is that those sins that cry to Heaven for vengeance requires that Justice be administered -- in order to shake the sinner to the core and nudge him to repentance...

The modernists, on the other hand, don't believe that they will have to answer for their actions in this life, especially actions that are pure evil and scandalous to others.

As a prime example of this, please read this article from lifesitenews.com and written by Antonino Cambria Thu Jun 26, 2025 - 5:06 pm EDT; Fr. James Martin doesn't refute Whoopi Goldberg's claim same-sex 'marriage' isn't part of Ten Commandments - LifeSite

"(LifeSiteNews) — During the second episode of the “The Spiritual Life” podcast, featuring notoriously pro-abortion talk show host and actress Whoopi Goldberg, heterodox Jesuit priest Father James Martin affirmed her statements that the Church needs to be more supportive of LGBT-identifying, as well as divorced and “remarried,” Catholics.

A few minutes later, Martin offered no rebuttal when Goldberg erroneously claimed that same-sex “marriage” is not mentioned in the Ten Commandments.

Pope Francis ‘spoke the words of Jesus’ by supporting LGBT-identifying, divorced Catholics

While discussing her audience with the late Pope Francis in 2023, Goldberg emphasized how great a pontiff he was for “speaking the words of Jesus” by supporting the LGBT-identifying and divorced faithful.

“I’m just trying to understand why you wouldn’t support a pope who sounded to me at least like he was speaking the words of Jesus … and how anybody can say (to Francis), ‘No, you’re not representing,'” Goldberg told Martin.

While Pope Francis never explicitly expressed approval of same-sex “marriage” or divorce and “remarriage,” the late Argentine pontiff frequently undermined or obfuscated these truths through what many saw as ambiguous or outright heretical statements.

In his 2016 apostolic exhortation Amoris LaetitiaFrancis allowed for divorced and “remarried” individuals to receive Holy Communion, a proposition condemned by the Church.

Similarly, in 2023, the 266th pontiff issued the declaration Fiducia Supplicans, which contained approval for “blessings for couples in irregular situations and for couples of the same sex.”

The Catholic Church formally condemns homosexual activity and urges homosexuals to live a chaste lifestyle.

Church should be ‘more inclusive’ to LGBT-identifying, divorced people

Goldberg continued: “I think God’s okay (with these sins), because He knows all this, the book’s already written,” she continued. “So all of this anti-divorced person, anti-gay people … I have come to the belief that the test is not for divorced people or gay people or people who think differently. The test is for us and how we treat people, how we stand up for people who don’t or can’t stand up for themselves, what we do. Once it was in my mind that that was okay, to think that way, I started to feel a lot better about the Church.”

Martin called Goldberg’s comments a “great insight.”

“That’s a great way of looking at it, that the onus is on us to reach out to people who feel like they’re on the margins,” the priest said.

While God loves all people, including the divorced and “remarried” and those with same-sex attraction, Martin notably doesn’t mention the Church’s teachings on homosexuality or divorce.

No one should be denied Communion

A bit later in the interview, while discussing her Catholic upbringing, Goldberg noted that everyone is flawed, and therefore, according to her, those who abort their unborn children or who are divorced and “remarried” shouldn’t be excluded from receiving the Holy Eucharist.

“If you come out and you say, ‘Listen, we know we are chalk full of flaws … so let us get ourselves together, and you can help us by moving us forward in your forgiveness, because some of the things that we need to be forgiven for are huge,'” she said. “That’s what I needed to hear somebody say … (instead) I was hearing, ‘If you get divorced, you can’t take the Host. Or, if you’ve had an abortion, we don’t care what was going on in your life, you’re out!'”

Same-sex ‘marriage,’ other sins ‘aren’t mentioned’ in Ten Commandments

The talk show host then made the claim that same-sex “marriage” is not mentioned in the Ten Commandments.

“There are Ten Commandments, not one of them deals with gay people, not one of them says, ‘Listen, if you find yourself in a bad situation, you’re on your own,'” Goldberg said.

While same-sex “marriage” or “relationships” are not explicitly mentioned in the Ten Commandments, according to the Catechismengaging in homosexual relations is a violation of the Sixth Commandment: “thou shalt not commit adultery.” Divorce and “remarriage” is also a violation of this commandment.

Goldberg’s comment about “finding yourself in a bad situation” appears to refer to having an abortion in certain circumstances or getting “remarried” after going through a divorce.

The Catholic Church has consistently recognized abortion as a “moral evil,” and indeed murder, complicity in which “constitutes a grave offense,” carrying the “canonical penalty of excommunication for this crime against human life.”  Therefore, having an abortion violates the Fifth Commandment: “thou shalt not kill.”

Martin did not respond to Goldberg’s claims about these sins not being mentioned in the Ten Commandments and seemed to approve of her comments about the Church being more inclusive to those who commit the sins she mentioned.

“The Church has always been full of sinful people,” the priest said. “From the very, very beginning, Peter (denied) knowing Jesus.”

Martin fails to mention that St. Peter repented of denying Our Lord, while Goldberg is advocating for unrepentant sinners to receive the sacraments.

The Jesuit priest has a long history of contradicting Church teaching on homosexuality. Martin frequently speaks of “loving LGBTQ people,” but he equivocates to downplay the fact that he endorses what the Church condemns: gravely sinful homosexual behavior."
