Cole is a young woman who for years has shared her story of first thinking she was a boy at age 12, being given puberty blockers and testosterone injections at 13, and having her breasts removed at 15 – all thanks in large part to medical professionals who pressured her parents into affirming her gender confusion with insinuations that she would otherwise kill herself.
At 16, Cole came to regret her path, found the doctors who had pushed her onto it largely unwilling to help her change course, and for years has been publicly speaking out against the damage done by the “transition” lobby and its dominance of the medical establishment as one of numerous “detransitioners” typically ignored by the corporate press. On numerous occasions, Cole has testified that she remains a “damaged woman without breasts, with a damaged sexuality, and with complications that persist years” after halting her “transition” that drives her to try to “save even one life from what I experienced.”
Submitting her video testimony last week through Christian investment firm Inspire Investing, Cole again relayed her personal story, through which she “know(s) what happens when big institutions like Home Depot value outside corporate pressure and ratings over the safety and well being of children and their families. This proposal is not about politics. For me, the impact is personal because I have to live with the consequences of this every single day.”
“Home Depot appears to be complicit in this failure,” she said. “Shareholders deserve to know whether Home Depot is subsidizing, endorsing, or being pressured into supporting medical interventions that many doctors, parents, and victims now recognize as dangerous for our youth. Based on publicly available information from the Human Rights Campaign last year, Home Depot’s healthcare plan seems to cover transgender medical interventions for covered dependents, including children.”
“But the landscape is shifting. States across our country, including Georgia, where Home Depot is headquartered, have banned the use of these procedures on children,” she went on. “Medical authorities in over six countries, including our own Department of Health and Human Services, are pulling back because both data and personal testimonies have clearly shown that there are consequences for attempting sex changes on children. Former patients like me are speaking out and winning lawsuits because we know now what happens when institutions refuse to face what they’ve helped to enable. And the parents of the next generation are fighting to ensure that it never happens again.
“Millions of American families trust Home Depot with their homes,” Cole declared. “It’s that legacy that makes it imperative to act now before the name ‘Home Depot’ is permanently attached to the sterilization and mutilation of children. Because children deserve to be protected. Families deserve transparency. And your shareholders deserve to know what is being done with their investments.”
Home Depot has been a proud corporate ally of the left-wing LGBT pressure group Human Rights Campaign (HRC) in the past. In 2022, it announced an expanded partnership with HRC Foundation to “make transformational change in the everyday lives of LGBTQ+ people,” and in 2024 it boasted that the Association of National Advertisers’ Alliance for Inclusive & Multicultural Marketing named Home Depot number one on their list of Most Culturally Inclusive Brands of 2023.
The current status of gender “care” in Home Depot’s employee health insurance is unknown. HRC currently gives the company an “unverified” score of 45, noting that it has not submitted a Corporate Equality Index survey in 2026. The company gets top marks in “workforce protections” and no penalty for “responsible citizenship,” but mixed scores in the remaining three categories.
For “inclusive benefits,” HRC gives Home Depot 25 points out of 50, suggesting the company insures some but not all of the so-called “health” services the group demands.
A large body of evidence shows that “affirming” gender confusion carries serious harms, especially when done with impressionable children who lack the mental development, emotional maturity, and life experience to consider the long-term ramifications of the decisions being pushed on them, or full knowledge about the long-term effects of life-altering, physically transformative, and often-irreversible surgical and chemical procedures.
In 2024, National Health Service (NHS) England’s landmark Cass Review found that “gender medicine” is “built on shaky foundations” and that while such interventions require a great deal of caution, “quite the reverse happened in the field of (so-called) gender care for children,” and that “(w)hile a considerable amount of research has been published in this field, systematic evidence reviews demonstrated the poor quality of the published studies, meaning there is not a reliable evidence base upon which to make clinical decisions, or for children and their families to make informed choices.”
In April, a study of “all under-23-year-old gender-referred individuals between 1996 and 2019” in Finland (2,083 people) found that those who had gone through gender transitions had “markedly higher psychiatric morbidity (other mental health issues) than controls before and after referral, with treatment needs often persisting and even intensifying after medical interventions.”
Many oft-ignored detransitioners like Cole attest to the physical and mental harm of reinforcing gender confusion as well as to the bias and negligence of the medical establishment on the subject, many of whom take an activist approach to their profession and begin cases with a predetermined conclusion that “transitioning” is the best solution.
“Gender-affirming” physicians have also been caught on video admitting to more old-fashioned motives for such procedures, as with a 2022 exposé about Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Clinic for Transgender Health, where Dr. Shayne Sebold Taylor said outright that “these surgeries make a lot of money.”'

I might add that we do not shop at Walmart and haven't for several years due to the fact that the giant, Walmart, pays for their female employees to travel out of state to enable them to kill their pre-born babies!
