Marxist, Baby Killer -- The Governor Of California, Newsom -- Is Against The Death Penalty???

  Wait a minute!

How can Newsom claim to be against the death penalty, when he imposes the death penalty against innocent, defenseless pre-born babies??

Not only is this apostate "Catholic" a hypocrite, but he's also a mass murderer!

Of course, there is more to the story and, again, of course, wouldn't you know it that the supposed leader of the (novus ordo) Catholic Church figures prominently in this slaughter!

How?

By heaping praise for Newsom in his quashing the death penalty in California, while, at the same time, ignoring Newsom's continued attack on the precious gift of life -- the pre-born baby, that's how...

Newsom and other culture of death maniacs, met with Bergoglio at the Vatican to push more slaughter in the form of population control and elimination of the most vulnerable of the earth.

Was the word slaughter actually used?  No, but the apostates -- including Bergoglio -- are onboard with the globalists and their demonic initiatives to reduce the population of the earth by the billions!

Our Lord tells us that by their fruits we will know them...

How correct He was -- and is!

We see this in spades with the likes of those anti-life, anti-Christ lunatics that Bergoglio continually appoints to "advisory boards" to implement a one-world-order, a one-world-government as well as radical efforts to combat "climate change"...

Now I ask you: did Bergoglio admonish the apostate baby killers he invited to the Vatican to stop their incessant attacks on the pre-born, warning them that their immortal souls are in jeopardy?

Nope.

Does Bergoglio know that Newsom and Kathy Hochul (governor of New York) are proponents of abortion up to birth?

Yep.

But all he does is to proclaim and foster his errant teaching that the death penalty is no longer "admissible"...

One more thing... It is true Church teaching that we are guilty of grave (that's mortal sin!) if we are accomplices by encouraging or heaping praise on those who kill!

Do these "Catholics" even know that the Fifth Commandment still exists!

Please read the following article from the LA Times and written by Taryn Luna:  Newsom leaves the Vatican with pope's praise for refusing to impose the death penalty (msn.com)

As you will see, there is not one word about Newsom's radical abortion agenda, not one!

Hypocrites all!

"In an opulent hall in the Apostolic Palace framed in marble and adorned with Renaissance murals, Gov. Gavin Newsom waited in a line of governors, mayors and scientists for an opportunity to greet Pope Francis.

The queue wasn’t the ideal setup envisioned by the governor’s advisors. Newsom traveled more than 6,000 miles from California to the Vatican to give a speech before — and hopefully talk with — the pope about climate change.

Pope Francis, however, had other topics on his mind besides the warming planet.

“I was struck by how he immediately brought up the issue of the death penalty and how proud he was of the work we’re doing in California,” Newsom said afterward. “I was struck by that because I wasn’t anticipating that, especially in the context of this convening.”

The talk was brief and informal. But the politically astute head of the Roman Catholic Church still took advantage of the moment to support one of Newsom’s most controversial actions as governor.

Through executive order two months after his inauguration, Newsom issued a temporary moratorium on the death penalty and ordered the dismantling of the state’s execution chambers at San Quentin State Prison. Families of murder victims criticized the decision, and legal scholars called it an abuse of power.

Newsom's refusal to impose the death penalty could hurt him politically if he runs for president.

As a Catholic, however, the governor's decree is in line with the church and the pope’s teachings.

In an interview with The Times after he left the Vatican, Newsom said he has yet to propose a statewide ballot measure to abolish the death penalty because he doesn’t have confidence that it would pass. California voters rejected measures to ban executions in 2012 and 2016.

Newsom said recent polls conducted by his political advisors show soft support for a ban.

“We constantly put it in our surveys that I do,” Newsom said in an interview with The Times. “It’s in the margin. But I'm thinking a lot about this beyond that because we're reimagining death row. I'm thinking about when I'm leaving; I mean, I've been pretty honest about that. I'm trying to figure out what more can I do in this space.”

There were more than 730 inmates on death row when Newsom took office. Death row at San Quentin was the largest of any prison in the Western Hemisphere. Under his plan to reform the prison to emphasize rehabilitation, Newsom said California is just weeks from emptying death row entirely.

The governor said he was outspoken about his opposition to capital punishment when he campaigned in 2018. He endorsed the 2012 and 2016 ballot measures to abolish the death penalty.

"I campaigned very openly as lieutenant governor, as governor. I went out of my way to say, 'If you elect me, this is what I'm going to do,'" Newsom said. "And also I have the legal authority. So I wasn't challenging that."

Currently, 21 of the 50 states impose the death penalty. The remaining 29 either have no death penalty or paused executions due to executive action — including California, according to the Death Penalty Information Center.

Newsom's moratorium might not play well with voters in some swing states in a potential presidential campaign, adding to perceptions that leftist California and the Democratic governor are soft on crime and misaligned with the rest of the nation. The governor has repeatedly dismissed speculation that he's eyeing the White House, and he has actively campaigned for President Biden's reelection.

Kevin Eckery, a political consultant who has worked with the Catholic Church in California, said the death penalty isn't going to be a deciding factor in an election.

"Nationally, the death penalty has been carried out so infrequently for the last 50 years that I don't see people voting based on your position on [the] death penalty," Eckery said. "They are going to vote on pocketbook issues. They are going to vote on other things, but not that issue."

The Catholic Church has long said the death penalty could be justified only in rare situations. Francis updated church doctrine in 2018 to say “the death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person."

Newsom lunched in an arched courtyard covered in jasmine at the American Academy in Rome after he, in a speech at the Vatican, accused former President Trump of “open corruption” by soliciting campaign donations from oil executives.

Sitting in a weathered wood chair under the shade of a tree, the governor explained how his Catholic background and the inequities in the criminal justice system influenced his refusal to sign off on executions as governor.

His paternal grandparents were devout Catholics, and his late father, William Newsom, who served as a state appellate court justice, went to church every day growing up, he said.

Later in life, Newsom’s father considered himself “a Catholic of the distance,” the governor said, and “kind of pushed away” because of the politics of the church.

Newsom said Jesuit teachings at Santa Clara University, where he attended college, spoke a language he appreciated “of faith and works.” His own religious beliefs, he said, have always been exercised "around a civic frame."

“The Bible teaches many parts, one body,” Newsom said, mentioning a quote he often references. “One part suffers, we all suffer, and this notion of communitarianism.

“You can't get out of Santa Clara University without the requisite studies and sort of a religious baseline: God and common thought type frames," he said.

As a Catholic and San Francisco native, Newsom said his beliefs follow “the Spirit of St. Francis" and the idea of being good to others, but not necessarily a strict religious doctrine.

The governor said he attended the private Catholic school École Notre Dame des Victoires in San Francisco for a short time during early elementary school. He said his family often attended Glide Memorial, a nondenominational church in San Francisco. The governor said he attended church on Easter with his family.

Newsom mentioned religion at other points during his trip, telling reporters outside the hall where he spoke at the Vatican about the importance of the bridge between science and the pope's moral authority on climate change.

"As we know from church, it's faith and works," Newsom said. "So, as we pray, we move our feet. It's that action with our passion."

Daniel Philpott, a professor of political science at the University of Notre Dame, said it's smart for politicians in either party to talk about faith.

"We've learned over the last 30 years that presidential candidates in general benefit when they can be shown to be religious, or practicing their religious faith," Philpott said.

Newsom said he didn't want to overplay the influence of religion on his position on the death penalty, which his father also opposed.

His father and grandfather were involved in the case of Pete Pianezzi, a friend who was wrongfully convicted of first-degree murder in the shooting and killing a gambler and busboy in Los Angeles in 1937.

Pianezzi escaped the death penalty by a single vote and served 13 years in prison. He was later exonerated.

Even if it were possible to limit inequity and wrongful convictions in the criminal justice system, Newsom said he would still be against the death penalty.

"It just never made sense to me, the basic paradigm, that we were going to kill people to communicate to the general public that killing is wrong," he said. "I could never understand that. I could never sanction that."

Did you notice the lies and falsehoods permeating the story?

What would you expect the from such a rag as the LA Times??

One last thing... Right now, it seems that Satan and his demonic minions have the upper hand in this corrupt world, that's just a fact.   But we have the promise that the gates of hell will never prevail against what is left of the true Church, whether it be a tiny Remnant of the Elect, or, perhaps, only one or two faithful Catholics when Our Lord returns to set things right once and for all!

Pray for the defeat of these apostate monsters -- and for their conversion!

Another Enemy Of The American People: The Federal Courts!

More proof -- if that was even needed! -- that the federal courts are a near and present danger to the American people...

And, no, this is not "just" the recent rulings against peaceful pro-life, pro-baby saving warriors, that have been thrown into prison after enduring a kangaroo trial with culture-of-death jurors and judges determining the fate of many -- elderly! -- God-fearing folks, but also those courts that side with the sodomite agenda, completely losing any sense of the Natural Law, not to mention the impending wrath of God almighty!

Let the following story sink in and see if this is coming to a neighborhood near you... Here's the headline from breitbart.com and  written by KATHERINE HAMILTON

Federal Court: Parents in Maryland School District Cannot Opt K-5 Children Out of LGBTQ Curriculum

Court: Parents in Maryland Cannot Opt Children Out of LGBTQ Curriculum (breitbart.com)

The only thing that I would ask these parents, is why don't you pull your precious children out of these demonic public schools and homeschool, or at least find a non-government supported, Christian school??

The price for leaving them in these schools filled with corrupting filth is too high to pay!

And now the article...

"A federal court on Wednesday upheld a Maryland school district policy that does not allow parents to opt their young K-5 children out of curriculum about gender identity and sexuality.

In a 2-1 panel decision released by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, federal judges affirmed a lower court decision denying the request of religious parents to block the policy issued by the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) board in March of 2023. Judge G. Steven Agee, a President George W. Bush appointee, wrote the majority opinion stating that parents did not present enough evidence to show that the policy violates the free exercise of their religion and their due process right to direct their children’s education.'

“We take no view on whether the Parents will be able to present evidence sufficient to support any of their various theories once they have the opportunity to develop a record as to the circumstances surrounding the Board’s decision and how the challenged texts are actually being used in schools,” Agee wrote.

“At this early stage, however, given the Parents’ broad claims, the very high burden required to obtain a preliminary injunction, and the scant record before us, we are constrained to affirm the district court’s order denying a preliminary injunction.”

The Muslim, Jewish, and Christian parents, represented by the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, argued that the district’s refusal to allow their young children to opt out of reading of LGBTQQIAAP2S+-themed books or participation in the curriculum violated their right to raise their children in accordance with their faith and how their faith defines identity and sexuality. Parents also argued the material is not age-appropriate for such young students.

Book titles integrated into the K-5 curriculum include The Pride PuppyUncle Bobby’s Wedding, and Born Ready: The True Story of a Boy Named Penelope. The book The Pride Puppy — which is “the sole test expressly approved for use in pre-Kindergarten and Head Start classrooms” — invited “the three and four-year-old audience … to look for items such as “[drag] king,” “leather,” “lip ring,” “[drag] queen,” and “underwear,” the judge’s opinion notes.

Parents also pointed out that the district had provided guidance to teacher’s and staff on how to redirect concerns about the pro-LGBTQ+ content  and questions from students.

The order details:

The guidance also counsels that if a student says that “a girl . . . can only like boys because she’s a girl,” the teacher can “[d]isrupt the either/or thinking by saying something like: actually, people of any gender can like whoever they like. . . . How do you think it would make __(character’s name)__ to hear you say that? Do you think it’s fair for people to decide for us who we can and can’t like?”

Even so, the panel ultimately ruled that “simply hearing about other views does not necessarily exert pressure to believe or act differently than one’s religious faith requires,” the opinion reads.

Judge A. Marvin Quattlebaum, Jr., who was appointed by former President Donald Trump, wrote a dissenting opinion saying he would have overturned the district court ruling and blocked the school district’s policy.

“I also find that the board’s actions, at least under this record, were neither neutral nor generally applicable. Finally, I find the parents have established the other requirements for a preliminary injunction. So, I would reverse the district court and enjoin the Montgomery County School Board of Education from denying religious opt-outs for instruction to K-5 children involving the texts,” he continued.

He added:

And I disagree with the majority’s conclusion that the parents have not produced enough evidence to establish that their free exercised rights have been burdened. The parents have met their burden. They have produced the books that no one disputes will be used to instruct their K-5 children. They produced declarations explaining in detail why the books conflict with their religious beliefs. They have produced the board’s own internal documents that show how it suggests teachers respond to students and parents who question the contents of the books.

“These parents’ faith dictates that they—not others—teach their children about sex, human sexuality, gender and family life. Their faiths dictate that they shield their children from teachings that contradict and undermine their religious views on those topics,” he wrote. “And no matter how you slice it, the board’s decision to deny religious opt-outs prevents the parents from exercising these aspects of their faith if they want their children to obtain a public education.”

Eric Baxter, a senior counsel and vice president at the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty told Fox 5 DC that the parents are disappointed with the decision. He noted that parents are not asking for the books to be removed from schools and just want the option for their young children to opt out.

“We understand that there are different parents who have different perspectives,” Baxter said. “But all parents should have the right to decide if something is inappropriate for their own child and to remove their child from the classroom in those circumstances. And I think that’s something that every resident in Montgomery County can get behind.”

Baxter said they plan to appeal the case to the Supreme Court.

The case is Mahmoud v. McKnight, No. No. 23-1890 U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. "

Traditional Catholic NFL Kicker (For The Kansas City Chiefs) Harrison Butker, Is Viciously Attacked By The Liberal, Marxist Media -- And The Gutless NFL Goons!

All hell is being unleased against Harrison Butker!

This is what happens when a practicing, traditional Catholic family man stands up for Church teachings on morality, marriage, family, and unchanging objective truths!

Ever since Mr. Butker made the commencement speech to the graduating class at Benedictine College in Atchinson, Kansas, this past Saturday, he has been viciously attacked in the liberal, Marxist media, both outside -- and within the NFL organization itself!

This story has been reported in the secular press as well as in the Catholic media, documenting the firestorm of vitriol of hate, anger and personal attacks on this decent man.

I'll post the article from lifesitenews.com and written by Stephen Kokx, though others are also reporting on this developing story... Stay tuned!

Liberals seek to cancel Harrison Butker after epic anti-woke, pro-family commencement speech - LifeSite (lifesitenews.com)

"(LifeSiteNews) — The mainstream media and liberal activists are trying to cancel traditional Catholic NFL kicker Harrison Butker after he delivered an epic anti-woke, pro-family commencement address to graduates at Benedictine College in Atchinson, Kansas, this past Saturday.

Benedictine is a Catholic liberal arts school with just over 2,000 undergraduates. It carries the endorsement of The Cardinal Newman Society as being a reliably Catholic institution.

During his 20-minute remarks, Butker, who is unvaccinated, unapologetically pushed back against abortion as well as so-called Pride Month, which he called a “deadly sin.” He also singled out President Joe Biden, cowardly U.S. Catholic bishops, and the “tyranny of diversity, equity and inclusion.”

Speaking to female graduates specifically, Butker warned them to be aware of the “diabolical lies” the world tells them about putting a job ahead of their family.

“Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world,” he said. “I can tell you that my beautiful wife Isabelle would be the first to say her life truly started when she started living her vocation as a wife and as a mother.”

Dozens of media outlets, feminists, and former female athletes flipped out after watching Butker’s insightful and thoughtful remarks, which reflect nothing more than a basic Christian outlook on family life.

NBCFox NewsThe New York TimesThe Washington PostESPNRolling Stone, The Today ShowPeople magazine, and scores of others published ridiculous articles this week decrying Butker’s speech as “sexist,” “anti-Semitic,” and “hateful.”

The petition was started on Monday, May 13 and surpassed 101,000 signatures Thursday morning.

NFL senior vice president and chief diversity and inclusion officer Jonathan Beane distanced the league from Butker’s remarks in a statement.

“His views are not those of the NFL as an organization. The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger,” he said.

LifeSite has reported on the many professional accolades Butker has earned during his career. A three-time Super Bowl champion, he has kicked game-tying and game-winning field goals in multiple high-pressure playoff games. He currently holds the record with most field goals (nine) in the Super Bowl. His career 89.1 percent conversion rate makes him the second most accurate kicker in league history.

A devout Catholic who excluslively attends the Latin Mass, Butker, who is only 28, was signed by the Chiefs in 2017 after being waived by the Carolina Panthers. The franchise won its third Super Bowl in five years in 2024. He has constantly given “glory to God” after his many impressive performances.

During the Chiefs’ White House visit in June 2023, Butker wore a tie that read, “vulnerari praesidio,” which means “protect the most vulnerable” in Latin. He also wore a gold pin replicating the precise size and shape of a 10-week-old preborn baby. During his speech Saturday, Butker made reference to Biden and his pro-abortion policies.

”Our own nation is led by a man who publicly and proudly proclaims his Catholic faith but at the same time is delusional enough to make the sign of the cross during a pro-abortion rally,” he said. “He has been so vocal in his support for the murder of innocent babies that I’m sure to many people it appears that you can be both Catholic and pro-choice.”

Butker also admonished Catholic bishops in the U.S. who were “motivated by fear” during COVID-19. “They showed by their actions, intentional or unintentional, that the sacraments don’t actually matter,” he said.

Two of the main themes Butker, who has two children, stressed in his speech Saturday were how the Traditional Latin Mass has helped him “order” his life and how men today need to embrace masculinity.

“It is only in the past few years that I have grown encouraged to speak more boldly and directly, because as I mentioned earlier, I have leaned into my vocation as a husband and father,” he said. “As a man who gets a lot of praise and has been given a platform to speak to audiences like this one today, I pray that I always use my voice for God and not for myself.”

End of article, but not, I think, the end of the story...

Pray for strength, honor, perseverance and for the safety of Mr. Butker and his family!
