Stunning! Rank Hypocrisy On Display From The Heretical, Schismatic Novus Ordo Hierarchy: Faithful Archbishop Vigano "Automatically Ex-Communicated"!

 Ex-communicated?

Really?

Well, it had to happen, what else would you expect?

The good Archbishop knew it would happen.  I knew it would happen, and anyone paying attention to the shenanigans that emanate from apostate Rome knew it would happen.

Here is the headline from lifesitenews.com and written by Michael Haynes, Snr. Vatican Correspondent

Vatican says Archbishop Viganò ‘guilty’ of schism and excommunicated

Before I post the entire article, I want to make a couple of points here...

First, notice that Bergoglio didn't formally "ex-communicate" Abp. Vigano, it was the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF)!

And who heads that Dicastery?  Well, none other than the writer of filth and scandal, the heretic, "Cardinal" Fernandez!

Does anything else need to be said??

Second, the Marxist media are jumping for joy over this supposed "ex-communication," describing Abp. Vigano as "far right," not recognizing the pope or the Second Vatican Council as legitimate, etc., etc...

(The majority of those so-called "religion writers" don't know beans about the true Catholic Church, unless it's to bash the hell out of it -- which they do on a regular basis.)

But what's the real "sin" here?  Not recognizing Vat. II!!

Pointing out the errors, heresies, scandal and confusion of the Bergoglio regime, is of secondary importance to these wolves in sheep's clothing, though they have to put on a show for ecclesiastical consumption, of course...

Notice that Pope John XXIII, Pope Paul VI, and Pope John Paul II are the "saints" of Vat. II?

And that's what has been canonized here, the Second Vatican Council!

Anyone who dares to point out and reject the errors of Vat. II, and going forward, have signed their own death warrant, in some cases, literally

Here is the entire article...

"VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) — The Vatican’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF) announced July 5 that it had declared former U.S Nuncio Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò to be guilty of “schism” and automatically excommunicated.

In a statement issued without warning to the Holy See press corps, the DDF stated that its Congress met on July 4 to decide against Viganò. The statement read:

On 4 July 2024, the Congress of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith met to conclude the extrajudicial penal process referred to in canon 1720 CIC against the Most Reverend Carlo Maria Viganò, titular Archbishop of Ulpiana, accused of the reserved delict of schism (canons 751 and 1364 CIC; art. 2 SST).

His public statements manifesting his refusal to recognize and submit to the Supreme Pontiff, his rejection of communion with the members of the Church subject to him, and of the legitimacy and magisterial authority of the Second Vatican Council are well known.

At the conclusion of the penal process, the Most Reverend Carlo Maria Viganò was found guilty of the reserved delict of schism.

The Dicastery declared the latae sententiae excommunication in accordance with canon 1364 § 1 CIC. The lifting of the censure in these cases is reserved to the Apostolic See. This decision was communicated to the Most Reverend Viganò on 5 July 2024.

Under the terms of the latest edition of Canon Law, one who is excommunicated is prohibited from offering the sacraments.

On June 20, Viganò revealed that the DDF had, by way of a letter dated June 11, begun an “extrajudicial penal trial” against him, accusing the prelate of “the crime of schism.”

Issued by Monsignor John Kennedy, who leads the DDF’S Disciplinary Section, the Vatican’s letter alerted him to “the crime of schism of which he has been accused (public statements which result in a denial of the elements necessary to maintain communion with the Catholic Church; denial of the legitimacy of Pope Francis; a rupture of communion with him; and rejection of the Second Vatican Council).”

Rebuffing the accusation, Viganò stated at the time that “I claim, as Successor of the Apostles, to be in full communion with the Roman Catholic Apostolic Church, with the Magisterium of the Roman Pontiffs, and with the uninterrupted doctrinal, moral, and liturgical Tradition which they have faithfully preserved.”

He further added that “I repudiate, reject, and condemn the scandals, errors, and heresies of Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who manifests an absolutely tyrannical management of power, exercised against the purpose that legitimizes authority in the Church: an authority that is vicarious of that of Christ, and as such must obey Him alone.”

Continuing, the archbishop stated:

… in order to separate myself from ecclesial communion with Jorge Mario Bergoglio, I would have to have first been in communion with him, which is not possible since Bergoglio himself cannot be considered a member of the Church, due to his multiple heresies and his manifest alienness and incompatibility with the role he invalidly and illicitly holds.

Turning the Vatican’s charges against them, Viganò then accused Pope Francis of schism, writing:

I accuse Jorge Mario Bergoglio of heresy and schism, and I ask that he be judged as a heretic and schismatic and removed from the throne which he has unworthily occupied for over 11 years. This in no way contradicts the adage Prima Sedes a nemine judicatur, because it is evident that, since a heretic is unable to assume the Papacy, he is not above the Prelates who judge him.

Archbishop Viganò has been contacted for comment in response to the Vatican’s ruling, and this report will be updated accordingly."

Catholic Destroys Blasphemous Statue Of ‘Our Lady’ In Austrian Cathedral: ‘I Did It For The Mother Of God!’

Why is it that documents restricting the traditional Latin Mass and other anti-Christ, anti-Catholic actions almost always seem to be published or occur on Marion feast days?

Why?

Is there a disdain of our Blessed Mother among some the modernist novus ordo hierarchy?

Why is it that some novus ordo hierarchy allow -- or even commission blasphemous, filthy "art" depicting supposedly effeminate saints of the early church, or more directly counter the infallible declarations -- that must be believed by all Catholics -- concerning Our Lady??

I must warn anyone reading this missive, the following stories are hard to take, especially when a supposed bishop of the Catholic Church condones such insults to Our Lady -- right smack in his own cathedral!!

The first is an article from lifesitenews.com and written by Andreas

Wailzer

The second article/video is from returntotradition.org by Professor Anthony Stine: Satanic Statue Mocking The Virgin Mary Destroyed, Bishop DOUBLES DOWN (youtube.com)

Prof. Stine gives a good explanation of who and why these insults to Our Lady are happening... (About 29 minutes in length.)

Here is the story from lifesitenews.com...

"LINZ, Austria (LifeSiteNews) — An anonymous faithful Catholic has destroyed a blasphemous and indecent depiction of “Our Lady” in a Catholic cathedral in Austria after the sculpture had sparked outrage.

“I did it first and foremost for the Mother of God!” the Catholic man who wishes to remain anonymous told his fellow Austrian Alexander Tschugguel.

In the context of an “art project,” a sculpture meant to depict the Blessed Virgin Mary was displayed in St. Mary’s Cathedral in Linz, Austria. The statue, designed by “artist” Esther Strauss, depicted the Virgin Mary in an obscene and heretical manner.

The statue was found beheaded on Monday, July 1. In a statement, the man claiming responsibility for the destruction of the blasphemous statue explained why he destroyed it.

“Although I started by sawing the torso, the noise level and limited time meant that I was unable to carry out this initial plan, so only the head was sawn off,” he wrote. “But without the head and halo, it could not be seen as a caricature of our Virgin Mary anymore.”

“In the end, the sculpture was just an immoral, tasteless statue without a head, which effectively ended the blasphemy and defamation of our Blessed Mother,” he continued. “Just as the Blessed Mother does everything for us in love, we must do everything for Her without hesitation. This begins with prayers and ends, if necessary, with giving our lives.”

The “art” display in St. Mary’s Cathedral was sanctioned by the bishop of the Diocese of Linz, Manfred Scheuer.

“[A]s a simple Catholic and sinner, it is of course not up to me to prevent the actions of our bishops,” the anonymous statue destroyer wrote. “But it is very much my and our task to prevent any defamation of GOD and His most holy Mother.”

“Just as the Virgin Mary protects us every day and is there for us, we must also be there for Her, the Mother of GOD, in the most severe afflictions, because that is what defines us as a Church.”

Explaining why he took matters into his own hands, he said, “Unfortunately, emails from the Diocese of Linz are ignored, telephone calls are abruptly ended when criticized, and there is no outlet for criticism or even intervention. Therefore, in view of this abominable and blasphemous caricature, urgent and decisive action was required!”

Previously, 8,000 people had signed a petition asking the diocese to remove the “pagan sculpture.”

The episcopal vicar for education, Father Johann Hintermaier, apologized if some people’s “religious feelings” were hurt, but condemned the destruction of the scandalous and obscene statue.

“We were aware that we were also provoking debate with this installation,” Hintermaier said. “If we have hurt people’s religious feelings, we are sorry, but I strongly condemn this violent act of destruction and the refusal to engage in dialogue as well as the attack on the freedom of art.”

Sculptor Theresa Limberger, who created the statue, admitted that she purposefully depicted the Virgin Mary contrary to the Catholic faith.

“The intolerance, backwardness, and lack of enlightenment in the Catholic Church is shocking,” Limberger claimed to local news outlet Oberösterreichische Nachrichten.

Strauss, who designed the statue and commissioned Limberger to create it, said, “Whoever removed the head from the sculpture was very brutal.”

Repeating typical feminist, pro-abortion talking points, she added that “this violence is an expression of the fact that there are still people who question women’s right to their own bodies.”

In one of Strauss’ “performance artworks” featured on her website, she excavated her grandfather’s grave with her bare hand, undressed, and “washed” herself in the earth, which she described as her “grandfather’s home since 1993.”

End of post... This is truly a very morally and spiritually sick individual!  Please pray for her!

EXPLOSIVE: Cardinal Müller Reveals Senior Vatican Official Thinks No Mass At All Is Better Than The Latin Mass

Things are now happening at breakneck speed to eradicate once and for all, the Traditional Latin Mass!

Still, it remains to be seen if and when a new illicit document will emanate from the faithless powers that be in the Vatican, to squash the TLM, or restrict the most beautiful thing this side of Heaven to such a degree, that the faithful will either succumb and attend the Protestantized, Judaized new "mass," or man-up and disobey the demons pushing the destruction of the true church of Christ, our Lord, go underground, and back into the catacombs.

Here is one of the newest and most disturbing articles with comments from Cardinal Muller, interviewed by Dr. Maike Hickson on lifesitenews.com and written by LifeSiteNews staff

"(LifeSiteNews) — On this week’s episode of Faith & Reason, John Henry-Westen, Father Charles Murr, and Frank Wright discuss Cardinal Müller’s revelation that a senior Vatican official thinks it’s better to have no Mass at all than the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM), Cardinal Burke’s comments on President Joe Biden receiving Communion, Cardinal Zen slamming prominent Catholic YouTuber Michael Lofton, Cardinal Sean O’Malley speaking out against the Vatican displaying Rupnik artwork, and more.

Cardinal Gerhard Müller, in a homily and then an interview with LifeSiteNews reporter Dr. Maike Hickson, revealed details of a conversation he had with a senior representative of the Roman Dicastery for Divine Worship about the recent Chartres pilgrimage, which had over 20,000 young participants. Müller said he was moved by the fidelity of the young Catholics with whom he was able to celebrate the Holy Mass in the Chartres cathedral.

To which the Vatican representative objected, “This is by no means a cause for joy because Holy Mass was celebrated according to the old Extraordinary Latin rite.” During his homily at an ordination Mass, Müller continued, “Indeed, some see the old rite of Holy Mass as a greater danger to the unity of the Church than the re-interpretation of the Creed, or even the absence of Holy Mass. They interpret the preference for the ancient rite as an expression of a sterile traditionalism.” Cardinal Müller’s comments come amid a rumored ban on the TLM from Rome this month.

Wright noted that even non-traditionalists are speaking out against the potential TLM crackdown. He cited an open appeal to the Vatican published in the British newspaper The Times, calling for the rumored document banning the ancient Roman rite to be rescinded, saying that it would be an immense cultural and aesthetic loss. Some notable names on the list include Princess Michael of Kent, Baroness Monckton, and notable historian A.N. Wilson.

“It’s extraordinary to hear people who are establishment liberals defend the tradition of the Catholic faith when the Vatican is seeking to abolish it,” Wright said.

Westen then played a clip from Müller’s interview with Dr. Hickson, where he offered more details on his conversation with the senior Vatican official. “And he said, ‘More important that they are respecting the ‘new,’ newer form of the Latin rite. If not, they should not come. It’s better that they do not come. Better to have an empty church than a church full of these young people.’”

“Just unbelievable, but that’s where we are in the Church,”  Westen said. “This revelation from Cardinal Müller also of the actual hatred for the Latin Mass in the high echelons of the very dicastery that’s supposed to deal with this. Absolutely stunning!”

A bit later in the program, Fr. Murr emphasized the Vatican official’s hatred for the TLM. “Do you know who else hates the Tridentine Mass? The devil himself. Now, when we have a higher-up in the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith who says something like this, that it would be better not to have any Mass at all and to have the church empty rather than have the traditional Mass of the ages. Anyone who can say such a thing, I don’t care if he’s a cardinal, an archbishop, I don’t care where or who, that man needs to take some time off to get himself spiritually balanced again.”

Moving on to American politics, the panel discussed Cardinal Raymond Burke’s recent condemnation of President Joe Biden receiving Holy Communion despite his stances on issues like abortion and the transgender agenda, calling it a “sacrilege.” He expressed these views in an interview on the YouTube channel Pints With Aquinas.

“He approaches to receive Holy Communion. This is not possible, because he denies Christ in public ways, and he stubbornly does this and at the same time approaches to receive Christ in Holy Communion. This is a sacrilege, and for his own sake and for the sake of the whole Church, that can’t be permitted.”

Wright reminded viewers that Biden appears to support abortion up until the moment of birth. “To deny him Communion for this obvious sacrilege is simply a matter of cause if one takes Catholic doctrine seriously.”

Fr. Murr agreed with Wright and went further, highlighting how when Biden as well as former speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi receive Communion, it is a sacrilege, public scandal, and a mortal sin not to be taken lightly, and the bishops should take firmer action. “I have a hard time still dealing with the idea that our bishops as a whole, as a body, don’t come down on this solidly,” the priest said.

Westen agreed and added that if Catholic clergy had any concern for Biden’s soul, they wouldn’t add to his mortal sin and make him commit sacrilege by allowing him to receive the Holy Eucharist. “Particularly so, for the Pope, in encouraging him, as he has testified. Biden, remember, came back and said so. The pope, we know, did that for Nancy Pelosi, and this shows [a] real lack of concern for the soul of the president.”

The Battle For The Latin Mass Is A Battle For The Catholic Faith

The following article is from lifesitenews.com and written by Father

Cor Mennen...

Before I post the entire article, it is important to note that the continuing attacks and illicit restrictions on the TLM by rogue, modernist bishops, is a sign of hate for Tradition in general, and for the TLM in particular.

Why?

Could it be that the TLM -- and the traditional, perennial teachings of Holy Mother Church -- are the last stumbling blocks to the wicked agenda of those who now occupy the most influential and powerful offices in the Vatican?

Fr. Cor Mennen lays out the reasons for the planned eradication of the TLM far better than I...

Here is the complete article.  (And pray that the TLM will last until Our Lord returns!)

Think when the Son Man returns, He will find faith on earth??

"(LifeSiteNews) — Rumor has it that the dicastery for the liturgy led by British Cardinal Arthur Roche is going to publish a constitution in the middle of next month that is supposed to deliver the final coup de grace to the traditional liturgy. One might ask: why? After all, the arguments given do not make sense.

First, it is claimed that the coexistence of two liturgical forms would threaten the unity of the Church. There is no evidence of this in practice. Even those attending traditional Mass are particularly attached to unity with the Pope and with the local bishop. In many American parishes, the two liturgies coexisted peacefully in parish churches. Before the release of Traditionis Custodes in 2021, which severely restricted the traditional liturgy, Rome conducted a poll of the world’s episcopate. The outcome of that poll was kept secret, probably for good reason. Indeed, it seems that the majority of bishops did not object to the celebration of traditional Mass in their dioceses for those who wanted it.

READ: Cdl. Zen on Pope’s Latin Mass restrictions: They ‘hurt the hearts of many good people’

Moreover, the Catholic Church has many different rites: the Byzantine, the Armenian, the Coptic, the Maronite, the Syro-Malabar, etc. It has never been claimed that this threatens the unity of the Church. It is an expression of the spiritual richness of the Church lived precisely in pluralistic liturgical traditions. By the way, even in the Latin West, we have not only the Roman but also the Ambrosian rite (Archdiocese of Milan) and the Mozarabic rite (some places in Spain), among others. So it is nonsense that the old rite could not fruitfully coexist with the new, as Pope Benedict XVI had intended in the motu proprio Summorum Pontificum in 2007.

Moreover, it is strange that a pope like Francis would suddenly wipe out an important part of the pontificate of his immediate predecessor such as the end of the liturgical struggle while at the same time daring to claim that between his own and Benedict’s pontificate there would be no difference at all. Moreover, he flatly denies what Benedict said, namely, that you cannot simply abolish and prohibit a liturgy that has existed in the Church for 1,500 years.

So why the fanatical hatred? Why the determination to make impossible the liturgy that attracts young people and young families all over the world?

The liturgy is the place where people's faith is most affected.

That cannot have to do with the real good of the Church. It must have to do with the ideology that has taken the place of the Church’s handed-down deposit of faith among many theologians and Church leaders. The liturgy is the place where people’s faith is most affected. The ordinary faithful come to church and come into contact with Scripture readings, with the preaching of the Church, with the prayers and sacred acts of the Church. The way this all happens shapes their faith.

READ: Traditional monk rebukes heterodox Vatican professor’s attack on the Latin Mass

This traditional Catholic faith was tainted in theological circles long before the Council by neomodernist thought, in which the focus is no longer God but man. These thoughts, in all their consequences after the Council, break through into everything we call the “spirit of the Council.” It is no longer God’s commandments and the high demands of the Gospel that are central, but man, who has “difficulty with these ideals” but who can nevertheless count on God’s mercy. The commandments are no longer commandments but, at best, ideals.

While previous Popes have tried to reverse these anthropocentric tendencies, with Francis, the dam is completely broken. His theory of “field hospital” opens ecclesial communion to all, including the unrepentant sinner. Things that have always been recognized as grave sins in the Christian tradition, such as homosexual acts, adultery (as well as only “civil marriage”), yes even polygamy, are condoned or approved with a “blessing.” The whole so-called synodal process tries to use seemingly theological arguments to claim the Holy Spirit in order to please man and to let the secular zeitgeist into the Church. In short: God and His will has given way to man’s lust; the Church has become an NGO to promote the inner-worldly welfare of people; extra ecclesiam nulla salus (outside the Church is no salvation) and the missionary mission of Christ has degenerated into a vague world brotherhood where Christ and His Gospel have lost their unique place; the concern for eternal salvation has given way to the theory of empty hell, etc., etc.

The new liturgy greatly facilitates this thinking. In the new liturgy, man is at the center. He must be made to feel nice. What he does not like must not be said. The priest no longer faces God but the people. Biblical and centuries-old prayer texts that go rather against the sense of life of modern man are deleted or modified. Many texts about sin or the punishment of hell have disappeared. It is striking that the text after the institution narrative from St. Paul about the unworthy eating of the Body of the Lord has totally disappeared from the lectionary. This is not accidental. After all, not inclusive. Not for nothing does almost everyone, if they happen to come to church, go to Communion. It is no longer about God, but about the human community to which everyone belongs. The rich prayers of sacrifice of the former Mass have been replaced by meager Jewish table prayers that have lost any sense of sacrifice. And then the deliberate replacement in many languages of “shed for many” with “shed for all.” This suggests the heresy that everybody has been redeemed automatically.

It seems that certain leaders in the Church have not only embraced neomodernist thinking but see it as the future for the Church. The Pope has not said for nothing that he wants irreversible changes for the Church.

The traditional liturgy that breathes a different spirit is a disturber in this regard. And like all fanatics, they are convinced of their own rightness and find the appeal that the traditional liturgy has for young people disastrous for the horizontal Church image in which they believe.

So it is not a battle of rites that is being waged but a battle of faith. In a speech at an American university recently, Cardinal Robert Sarah said that the struggle against the old Mass is an expression of the practical atheism that dominates our Western society and even much of the Western Church. I completely agree with him.

READ: Cardinal Sarah: Rejection of traditional liturgy, morals are forms of ‘practical atheism’ in the Church

And therefore: whatever they come up with in Rome this time to bully the traditional faithful and to steer the Church in their desired (godless) direction, we will face persecution.

In the meantime, we must ask ourselves, is slavish obedience still a virtue under this pontificate?"

Biblical PROOF That It Is The Church Of Christ (The Catholic Church) That Interprets Scripture! Plus, Biblical Proof Of The Absolute Necessity Of WATER For Baptism!

The headline of my article is not only a "mouth full," but it has been the topic of intense controversy, not only from our separated brethren, but also among some Catholics as well.

How so?

The answer is that some Catholics contend that all one has to do is to "desire" Baptism and you're good to go -- or be able to get to Heaven -- without getting that H2O dribbled over your forehead, along with the proper words as dictated by our Lord to His Apostles...

In addition, Protestants contend that they can -- and do -- interpret the Scriptures on their own and see no need for any hierarchical authority to do so.

I will post pertinent Scripture verses not from the Catholic Bible, but from the King James Version to make the point!

The following verses will cover both topics...

From Acts: chapter 8:26-40...

26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.

29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me?  And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

32 The place of the Scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? For his life is taken from the earth.

34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this?  Of himself, or of some other man?

35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same Scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized

37 And Philip said, if thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest.  And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caughtaway Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and went on his way rejoicing.

40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

End of the Scripture posts...

Note: most of the emphasis is mine.

If you notice in the verse 40, Philip was found at Azotus, in other words, he was bilocated to preach and baptize the eunuch, but, at the same time he was found (seen) in Azotus!

This is only one instance of bilocation as recorded down through the ages of holy Catholic men and women (who eventually became recognized Saints!), preaching in different locations at the same time!

God bless all!

What's This? Bishop J. Strickland Is Advocating DISOBEYING The Novus Ordo Hierarchy??

How long do you think it will be before Bishop Strickland is "ex-communicated" for advocating disobeying the novus ordo hierarchy??

Time will tell...

First, the henchmen of the Bishop of Rome, Bergoglio, also known as Pope Francis, must get rid of that pain in the ecclesiastical neck, Archbishop Vigano for spouting -- the truth?

                                               ******

If you remember what constitutes the tenets of a just law, as defined by St. Thomas Acquinas and St. Augustine, then are faced with the opposite, making a law unjust, then that unjust "law" automatically becomes null and void, and is not to be obeyed!

If only the hierarchy and those in the secular state would apply the tenets of a just law to their legislation, then our world would, undoubtedly, be a much better place.

Of course, the only real solution to the present chaos we see in the church and in our political goings on, is the establishment of the social reign of Christ as King of Nations and of Souls, with anything less, we fool ourselves into accepting fantasy and lies as reality!

The following article/video should shed some light on the reality of the potential total- or near-total ban of the traditional Latin Mass of the ages, coming, once again, from those very same haters of Tradition and the Mass of the Saints and Martyrs!

From lifesitenews.com and written by LifeSiteNews staff

Bishop Strickland: Banning the Latin Mass would be an 'unjust law' many faithful couldn't obey - LifeSite (lifesitenews.com)

(LifeSiteNews) — "On this week’s two-part episode of The Bishop Strickland Show, Bishop Joseph Strickland discusses the narrow path to salvation, awareness of false prophets, and the rumored ban on the Traditional Latin Mass.

Strickland begins the first part of the episode by offering commentary on Matthew 7:6-14, in which Our Lord tells his disciples to “enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction.” Bishop Strickland notes that this part of the reading is the most important for our times.

He describes how St. Faustina’s vision visually represents what Christ describes in this Gospel passage.

“St. Faustina saw this vast crowd of people: happy, walking through the flowers, it’s just beautiful, and everything looked wonderful. And then they fall off the cliff into the pit of hell. She saw another vision of people struggling and walking through this narrow path with brambles and rocks, falling and tripping, and just struggling to crawl through this path. But then they come out on the end of that path, and it opens up into the glorious kingdom of God. That is what Jesus Christ says here,” Strickland said.

He notes that this vision was nothing new; it was simply Our Lord repeating this Gospel reading to a great religious woman. He emphasizes the importance of this reading in our times, as too many voices in the Church preach a different message.

“They’re saying exactly the opposite: The road to heaven is wide. Either everybody gets there or the vast majority of people. It doesn’t matter what Church you belong to; it doesn’t even matter if you really believe in Jesus. It’s just God, in His wonderful mercy, is welcoming us all. Well, that’s not what God’s Son said.”

Strickland circled back to Faustina’s visions and noted how this reality is denied even by those in the highest offices of the Church. “Oh, this isn’t a sin. Anyone can go to Communion; it doesn’t matter whether you are aborting children or promoting the greatest evils.” He says that we should instead listen to the Gospel and what Jesus Christ said about salvation.

Strickland posed the question that if we don’t need to worry about salvation anymore, what’s the Church even for? “There are plenty of goodwill organizations that do great things. You know the Audubon Society, so just join that and join Save the Whales. Forget about [the] Church.”

Strickland reiterated that we must instead believe what Jesus taught us and strive to enter that narrow path of salvation. “We need to be perfect. We can only be perfected by turning from sin, by humbling ourselves, by making reparation for that sin, and making reparations for the sins of the world.”

“Don’t judge others; Christ makes that very clear. But that gets translated in our time to, ‘Don’t make any judgments at all, just let people do whatever they want.’

Strickland uses the example of a parent or teacher with authority over children who must make judgments about their actions.

“They have to say, ‘Sally is doing something wrong, and Sally needs to be corrected.’” He emphasizes that this is not judging the person but an action to say, “This is harmful; this needs to be corrected.”

Strickland next discusses how this Gospel passage is vital for our time because, sadly, there are priests, bishops, and cardinals who are false prophets.

“It’s being a false prophet to say, ‘The Church is no longer about the salvation of souls.’”

He underscored that this is not the Church but false prophets, and we need to correct these individuals and call them back to the truth.

“If we’re living what Christ said then we are living and saying what we need to say, the truth of the Gospel. Yes, it’s challenging, but it’s also fulfilling, and it bears good fruit.”

Strickland further says that this Gospel reading should serve as a reminder that, unfortunately, in these times, we can’t just trust whatever a priest or bishop says. Instead, “We need to know the Catechism, we need to know Scripture, we need to know the teachings of our Catholic faith, so we can know when a false prophet speaks.”

Switching gears, show host Terry Barber asked Strickland about next month’s rumored document that will further ban the celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM).

He advised listeners to “stay true to Christ and His Church and to resist anything you know isn’t true to Christ and to His Church.”

Strickland believes that should this document eliminate any celebration of the Latin Mass, many will be unable to obey it. “I believe it is an unjust law; people have come to a deeper faith in Jesus Christ and His Church through the Traditional Latin Mass.”

He went on to say that the term “schismatic” is not appropriate to describe attendees of the TLM. He poses the question, “Who’s separating from Christ here?”

Strickland advises listeners not to believe it when told they’re being schismatic for being faithful to this ancient liturgy. “The schism, if it comes, is coming from those who are trying to kill the tradition of the Church.”
