A Sad Fact: Saint Jude’s Was Never A Catholic Hospital And Danny Thomas Was A Freemason

 We certainly live in crazy times... 

That, I know, is an understatement.

It has come to light, that St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is not Catholic, nor was its founder, Danny Thomas, a true Catholic, or at least a "confused" Catholic.  

I hope for the latter rather than the former...

Unfortunately, the information that I'll post is nothing new, and has been in the public domain for many years, basically, those who run the hospital have caved to the zeitgeist and many of its very public evils.

I have two sources that provide the sad facts: one, from catholicism.org and the other is from lifesitenews.com... 

Before I post this disturbing information, I'd like to give a little background on my own, personal experience with the Hospital (located in Memphis, TN) that goes back to my early military days in the Air Force (police)...

I was stationed at a "small" SAC base (that's Strategic Air Command) located in Blytheville, AR, about 70 miles north, northwest of Memphis.

The year was 1966... My brother police and I had just gotten off a long night shift guarding the B-52 heavy (nuclear) bombers and the KC-135 refueling tankers, as well as the munitions storage area housing conventional -- and nuclear weapons.

We were informed that a non-com's (Staff Sergeant) son had been receiving treatment at St. Jude's and requested volunteers to help replenish the blood supply that had been used for the little guy.

Still in our uniforms, groggy and hungry, we piled on the Air Force bus and headed for Memphis and the Hospital...

When we arrived, we were given a quick guide of some parts of the treatment areas with the "space-age" cancer machinery (it was 1966!), I have no idea what is in use these days to treat the cancers...

We were also treated to a fried chicken dinner, then rolled up our sleeves and donated some life-saving blood.

I can't remember if I fell asleep on the way back to the base, but some did catch a few winks, I'm sure.

That's a little background on my first -- and only -- first-hand experience with St. Jude's...

"Three days ago, we posted a Lepanto Institute press release warning about the hospital which so many contribute to, assuming incorrectly that it is Catholic: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Marked ‘Not Safe’ for Donations by Charity Watchdog.

Saint Jude’s is not now nor was it ever a Catholic hospital. The hospital website is transparent about its being a secular institution: 

We are not a Catholic hospital, nor are we affiliated with any religious organization. Our founder, Danny Thomas, was Catholic, and St. Jude Thaddeus was his patron Saint.

Danny Thomas, a Maronite Catholic of Lebanese descent, was a Knight Commander of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, appointed by Pope Paul VI. His being a “devout Catholic” and a devotee of Saint Jude is part of the story of Saint Jude’s founding. But this does not mean the hospital was a Catholic institution. It never was.

Thomas was also a Master Mason, who publicly extolled the Craft, and expressed pride in his membership. He was a member of Gothic Lodge No. 270 — a Blue Lodge of the York Rite — in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.

Thomas was also a member of the Scottish Rite and Al Malaikah Shrine in Los Angeles.

According to the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, he was a 33rd Degree Mason, presumably of the Scottish Rite.

Since the eighteenth century, Catholics have been expressly forbidden to be Freemasons, under threat of severe canonical penalties.

The first papal condemnation of Freemasonry was issued by Pope Clement XII on April 28, 1738 in the bull, In Eminenti Apostolatus Specula. Since that time, Catholics have been forbidden to be Freemasons. Multiple papal interventions reiterated and expanded Clement’s condemnation, eventually making membership in a Masonic lodge an offense that incurred automatic excommunication.

The 1983 Code of Canon Law did not contain an explicit mention of Freemasonry, but something else happened that same year to clarify the issue:

In 1983, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, with the personal approval of Pope John Paul II, issued a Declaration on Masonic Associations, which reiterated the Church’s objections to Freemasonry. The 1983 declaration states that “faithful who enroll in Masonic associations are in a state of grave sin and may not receive Holy Communion. … the Church’s negative judgment in regard to Masonic association(s) remains unchanged since their principles have always been considered irreconcilable with the doctrine of the Church and therefore membership in them remains forbidden. CDF 1983 stipulated that neither CDF 1974 nor CDF 1981 allowed an individual bishop or bishops’ conferences to permit Catholics to belong to masonic lodges.” (Source).

This column is not intended to malign Danny Thomas, but to set the record straight about Saint Jude’s and about Danny Thomas’ Freemasonic involvement. During his lifetime, there were many in the hierarchy who sounded an uncertain trumpet about this matter (and so many other matters!), and he may legitimately have been confused, as others continue to be very confused to this day."

Wearing “St. Jude Supports Pride” t-shirts, carrying a banner with the same moniker, and waving rainbow flags, over 100 people representing the research hospital – and their young children – showed up about 40 minutes into the parade."

The Catholic Church celebrates the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on September 8. Our Lady of Guadalupe is the Patroness of the Americas and the unborn.

“On the American continent, Marian devotion is frequently centered around the figure of our Blessed Mother as she appeared in December of 1531 to the native American Saint Juan Diego at Tepeyac Hill in the area of modern-day Mexico City,” the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wisconsin explains.

The social media post comes as President Trump hopes to win over Catholic voters ahead of the November elections. While Trump has faced scrutiny for opposing federal limits on abortions, saying he supports “reproductive rights,” and supporting mandatory insurance coverage of embryo-destroying in-vitro fertilization, he has been supportive of certain Christian concerns such as “family values,” earning the backing of the group Catholics for Trump.

Trump has also criticized Kamala Harris for her questioning of a Catholic judicial nominee, Brian Buescher, for his membership in the Knights of Columbus.

“As a senator, she viciously attacked highly-qualified judicial nominees simply because they were members of the Knights of Columbus, suggesting that their Catholic faith disqualified them from serving on the federal bench,” Trump said at a Turning Point USA event in July.

As a member of the Senate Judiciary committee, Harris, along with Senator Mazie Hirono of Hawaii, questioned Buescher over his membership in the Knights of Columbus.

She called the group’s opposition to homosexual “marriage” an “extreme” position and questioned Buescher for being part of the abortion-opposing Catholic group, as LifeSiteNews has previously reported.

“I don’t know how a Catholic can vote for the Democrats because they’re after the Catholics, almost as much as they’re after me,” Trump also said at the Turning Point event. “I would say I top you, I’m proud to admit, but they’re really after the Catholics.”

The former president also reached out to the group Catholics for Catholics to thank them for their support.

“Melania and I are grateful for your continued support and encouragement,” he wrote, as reported by LifeSiteNews. “Your love of God and Country is evident in everything you do. We admire your dedication to preserving America’s founding principles through your faith. You have realized God’s grace and righteousness by continuing to seek and share His wisdom.”

While Trump has raised concerns for his stances on social issues, well-respected theologians have said Catholics should vote for him as the lesser of two evils.

“It is a pity that the Republican Party has failed to produce any candidate better than Donald Trump, but Kamala Harris certainly represents the greatest evil to be avoided,” Professor Roberto de Mattei wrote. “Trump deserves to be criticized on many points, but it is not fair to gift victory to Harris by voting for her or abstaining from voting.”

Catholics can “tolerate a lesser evil,” by voting for Trump, Professor Mattei explained.

“In light of this principle, a Catholic can never vote for or approve an abortion law, even a minimal one, but he or she can vote for a candidate who is not an integral anti-abortionist,” he wrote. “That is why it is permissible for an American Catholic to vote for Donald Trump, whose positions on abortion, as Edward Feser notes, leave much to be desired.”

Fr. Chad Ripperger has made similar comments about voting for the lesser of two evils."

Actually, it is not the lesser of two evils as many have been writing about lately, it is the principle of double effect. 

Here is the teaching from St. Thomas Aquinas: 

Principle of Double Effect

The Principle of Double Effect is used to determine when an action which has two effects, one good and one evil, may still be chosen without sin. This principle is attributed to St. Thomas Aquinas, who used it to show that killing in self-defense is justified (Summa Theologiae I-II q64 art. 7).

With respect to voting, it would allow under certain conditions the toleration of the unintended evil of another for a proportionate reason. All four conditions must be satisfied:

1. The action must be morally good, or indifferent, as to object, motive and circumstances.
2. The bad effect(s) may only be tolerated, not directly willed.
3. The good effect must be caused at least as directly as the bad.
4. The good effect(s) must be proportionate to compensate for the bad effect(s).

They wanted to know how many people would comply with a complete re-ordering of their lives based on no science at all, just random orders, some of which bordered on absurdity.

I have long said that Covid 19 was launched by design by a small number of people in the globalist predator class for one reason and one reason only — as a beta test for the coming technocratic new world order.

Now, we’ve got the World Economic Forum coming out and all but admitting that was exactly why the Covid-19 “pandemic” had to happen.

The WEF gleefully posted the following snippet to the “My Carbon” page of its website where they make a pitch for so-called smart cities, which is just another term for 15-minute cities.

The first of three “developments” that the WEF says must be in place before the world can evolve into its utopian vision of “smart and sustainable cities,” is compliance with restrictions on our freedom. It writes:

1. COVID-19 was the test of social responsibility – A huge number of unimaginable restrictions for public health were adopted by billions of citizens across the world. There were numerous examples globally of maintaining social distancing, wearing masks, mass vaccinations and acceptance of contact-tracing applications for public health, which demonstrated the core of individual social responsibility.

 They were testing us. That’s what Covid was all about. They wanted to see how many of us would give up our individual freedom and individual sovereignty by complying with a “new normal” that consisted of restrictions bordering on the absurd.

Why, for instance was it “safe” to shop at Lowe’s or Home Depot but unsafe to shop at a small business or attend church? Why was it OK to go to strip clubs in Michigan but you couldn’t buy seeds for a garden?

What the WEF is implying with its above statement is that in order to be “sustainable,” people and societies will need to be compliant with a new more authoritarian global order. Don’t ask questions. Don’t resort to logic. Just obey.

Would we be obedient in the face of idiotic new laws and regulations, like wearing face diapers to stop what was said to be an aerosolized virus, and standing six feet apart in public, and submitting to a never-before-used, unlicensed mRNA gene-based injection?

They said it was good for you, so roll up your sleeve. Don’t ask questions. If you did, you could lose your job and be treated as a societal outcast. Many people lost friends or even close family members to this monstrous “test” of our willingness to unquestioningly do what we’re told.

Nearly five years later, arguably the most powerful nonprofit public-private partnership in the world, the WEF, admits it was all a test of our wills and celebrates the fact that most of us failed the test (or passed with flying colors depending how you look at it).

They wanted to find out how many of us would prove our servitude to the lawless, fascistic beast system by complying with “unimaginable restrictions,” many of which were created out of thin air with absolutely no scientific evidence to back them up as contributing anything to public health.

The U.S. government’s top health bureaucrat, Dr. Anthony Fauci, admitted recently that there was no science behind his decision to require Americans to socially distance six feet apart.

They just wanted to see how many of us would prove our fealty to the “authorities,” people wearing white coats or suits and ties.

The beta test known as Covid-19 proved once again the validity of the The Milgram Experiment. This experiment was conducted in 1961-1962 by Yale University professor Stanley Milgram.

It showed that the overwhelming majority of Americans would obey a law or command that they knew was wrong if the order were to come from an official authority figure. An alarming 65 percent of Americans would reluctantly violate their own conscience and obey the order even if they knew it would result in the death of an innocent person.

Beginning on August 7, 1961, a series of social psychology experiments were conducted by Yale University psychologist Stanley Milgram, who intended to measure the willingness of study participants to obey an authority figure who instructed them to perform acts conflicting with their personal conscience. Participants were led to believe that they were assisting an unrelated experiment, in which they had to administer electric shocks to a “learner.” These fake electric shocks gradually increased to levels that would have been fatal had they been real.

 The experiments found, unexpectedly, that a very high proportion of subjects would fully obey the instructions, with every participant going up to 300 volts, and 65% going up to the full 450 volts. Milgram first described his research in a 1963 article in the Journal of Abnormal and Social Psychology[1].

CDC Wants Babies To Get 3 Pfizer Shots By 9 Months!!!

 Now we all know that the "covid pandemic" was a false flag/crime against humanity operation -- successfully foisted on gullible, brainwashed, 6 o'clock-news junkies who cannot think for themselves, and who accepted every word out the mouths of leftist "news" anchors reading from teleprompters.

Plus, we also know that children -- and tiny babies -- had little chance of being infected with "covid" in the first place, yet massive programs of face-diaper-wearing, "social distancing" -- and even more destructive -- school closings, were arbitrarily demanded by liberal, tyrannical lunatics, threatening those who didn't comply with fines and jail time!

So, the children suffered tremendous psychological -- and physical harm -- from that day to this...      

But, in spite of all this -- and new damning information on these deadly jabs -- the evil and wicked organization known as the CDC, insists that 9-month-old babies must receive multiple doses of an unlicensed mRNA COVID-19 jab to be considered ‘up to date’ with their COVID-19 vaccination!!!

I have to say that if any parent subjects their child to this element of the culture of death, they should be arrested for child abuse and thrown into prison for the rest of their natural lives!!

"(Children’s Health Defense) — Nine-month-old babies must receive multiple doses of an unlicensed mRNA COVID-19 vaccine to be considered “up to date” with their COVID-19 vaccination, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The CDC’s updated guidance, issued August 30, states that children – as young as 6 months old – should get either two doses of the 2024-2025 Moderna vaccine or three doses of the 2024-2025 Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

If getting the new Pfizer shot, the baby is supposed to receive the first dose at 6 months, the second dose three weeks later and the third dose at least eight weeks after the second dose – meaning, that by 9 months old, babies are supposed to have received three Pfizer shots.

If getting the latest Moderna shot, the CDC recommends babies get the first dose at age 6 months and the second dose a month later.

The latest Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 shots for children under 12 are unlicensed in the U.S. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted only emergency use authorization (EUA) for the vaccines.

Children’s Health Defense (CHD) CEO Mary Holland told The Defender, “The earlier COVID shots have been proven unsafe and ineffective. Now we’re asked to believe that newer versions are miraculously safe and effective?”

“This is an insult to people’s intelligence,” she said, “I pray that parents will have the good sense to say no to these dangerous and unnecessary shots for babies.”

As of July 28, 37,814 deaths following COVID-19 vaccination had been reported to VAERS, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, run by the FDA and CDC.

Of those, 187 reports were for children and teens under 18. Nearly 13,000 reports listed the age as “unknown.”

VAERS analyst and expert Albert Benavides recently told The Defender he believes VAERS is “throttling” and underreporting deaths of all ages following COVID-19 vaccination.

Meanwhile, the CDC continues to tell the public that COVID-19 vaccines are “safe and effective.”

CDC ‘absolutely misleading’ public on safety of EUA vaccines

Holland said the CDC is “absolutely misleading” the public by asserting that COVID-19 EUA vaccines are safe and effective because EUA vaccines are not held to the same safety or efficacy standards as licensed vaccines.

“By law,” she explained, “EUA products ‘may be effective,’ and they have not undergone the safety testing required to permit licensing.”

“This is one more horrific example of the CDC putting profits before people and acting as an unethical arm of Big Pharma’s marketing operation,” Holland added.

CHD Chief Scientific Officer Brian Hooker agreed. “It is criminal that these untested vaccines are being recommended to infants and children, especially given the fraudulent tactics to market them to an unsuspecting public,” Hooker told The Defender.

There’s no licensed COVID vaccine for kids under 12

There are still no licensed COVID-19 vaccines available for children under 12, Hooker said – so all COVID-19 vaccines given to young kids are EUA products.

The FDA’s website on EUA for medical products states that EUA vaccines only have to meet the standard of “may be effective” as long as if, “based on the totality of the scientific evidence, it is reasonable to believe that the product may be effective for the specified use.”

“The ‘may be effective’ standard for EUAs provides for a lower level of evidence than the ‘effectiveness’ standard that FDA uses for product approvals,” the website states.

Before a vaccine can be fully licensed, the vaccine maker typically is required to conduct numerous clinical trials to demonstrate that the product is safe. However, the safety requirements for EUA are more flexible.

According to the FDA:

The amount and type(s) of safety information that FDA recommends be submitted as part of a request for an EUA will differ depending upon a number of factors, including whether the product is approved for another indication and, in the case of an unapproved product, the product’s stage of development.

Despite this, the first statement on the CDC’s “6 Things to Know about COVID-19 Vaccination for Children” says, “COVID-19 vaccination for children is safe.”

Risks outweigh benefits for kids

Hooker said the CDC’s actions are especially problematic as, historically, the meaning of “safe” has been interpreted by regulatory authorities as meaning that the benefits of a drug outweigh its risks.

“With the risk to children of dying from a COVID-19 infection being statistically zero, it is unclear if there is any benefit,” he said.

Meanwhile, the CDC still claims that “while adverse reactions are rare, the benefits of COVID-19 vaccination outweigh the known risks of COVID-19 and possible severe complications.”

Pfizer fact sheet more forthcoming about risks

For licensed vaccines, the CDC typically provides an official vaccine information statement (VIS) that describes the vaccine’s risks and potential benefits.

According to the CDC website, “Federal law requires that healthcare staff provide a VIS to a patient, parent, or legal representative before each dose of certain vaccines.”

However, for EUA COVID-19 vaccines, the CDC directs people to “fact sheets” – produced by the vaccine manufacturer, not the CDC, and authorized by the FDA – which detail the product’s risks and benefits.

There is no federal law requiring healthcare providers to share these fact sheets with patients, or parents of minors, before a COVID-19 vaccination.

“Pfizer’s own ‘fact sheet’ for its latest COVID-19 vaccine appears to give a more accurate picture [of the vaccine’s risks] than the CDC’s own websites,” Hooker said. “Shouldn’t the CDC be more a watchdog than Pfizer?”

For example, Pfizer’s fact sheet states, “A product authorized for emergency use has not undergone the same type of review by FDA as an FDA-approved product.”

The Pfizer fact sheet also acknowledges that its vaccine “may not protect everyone” and that reported side effects associated with the Pfizer vaccines include myocarditis and pericarditis.

Hooker pointed out that research has shown that vaccine-induced myocarditis, inflammation of the heart, and pericarditis, inflammation of the tissue surrounding the heart, can be fatal.

He urged parents to “read between the lines” when assessing the CDC’s COVID-19 vaccination recommendation for babies and children.

“Most of all,” he added, “use common sense to decide if the CDC’s and the FDA’s logic is sound.”
