SoS Sat Report: 'Without Synodality There Is No Chance The Church Is Going To Survive'

Notice the headline: "Without synodality there is no chance the Church is going to survive."

This is the face of the new, novus ordo!

So, the gates of hell will prevail against the true Church???

I would like to emphasize a paragraph delivered by a Chinese Archbishop praising the 2018 diabolical agreement between Communist Red China and apostate Rome!

"The other major news is that for the first time a bishop from mainland China gave an intervention at a Synod of Bishops. Archbishop Joseph Yang Yongqiang of Hangzhou, “praised the benefits resulting from the 2018 Agreement between the Holy See and China.”'

Really?

I can only presume that this supposed archbishop was one selected by the CCP, in other words, he is a communist masquerading as a Catholic bishop and is a member of the "patriotic association" -- approved by the commies!!

Note that faithful Catholic Chinese have been thrown under the bus!  And with the renewal of this demonic agreement, churches have been destroyed, pictural icons of the brutal dictator, Xi, have been placed inside Catholic churches and chapels!!

(Also note that all emphasis will be mine.)

Quite frankly, some of the non-Catholic nonsense in this article is insulting to faithful Catholic women!  See if you agree...

The big news at the Synod is that Study Group 5 which is dealing with the question of the female diaconate, is subject to and must follow the Dicasterial procedures of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, unlike the other 9 study groups, because the subject had already been entrusted to the Dicastery by the Holy Father prior to the Synod’s request, “with a view to the publication of an appropriate document.” The Dicastery which has already heard from the bishops and cardinals in the regular meetings of the Dicastery on the topic, is now in the consultative phase, with “the consultors who will provide the basis for the document have already been consulted.” However, the rest of the consultation phase is expected to include the views of women who are not consultors. “All members and theologians of the synod can send opinions and aids in the coming months. On the 18th, two theologians from the dicastery will be available to receive proposals on the topic in writing or orally.”

The other major news is that for the first time a bishop from mainland China gave an intervention at a Synod of Bishops. Archbishop Joseph Yang Yongqiang of Hangzhou, “praised the benefits resulting from the 2018 Agreement between the Holy See and China.”

Ecclesial discernment

The big topic of the day was ‘Ecclesial discernment’, with interventions touching on subjects and criteria, different levels of responsibility, and the role of ordained ministers, the place of the laity in selecting candidates to the priesthood and episcopate.

One proposal that was mentioned was entrusting women with the ministry of ‘listening.’ This would be a prominently a women ministry complementing the parish priest, the deacon, and the catechist. This an actual quote from the Synod "women know how to listen, and they listen in a different way, and they could do it as a service, as something totally different to Confession (the sacrament).” Someone had the idea of making those agony aunt newspaper columns from the last century, an instituted ministry in the Church solely for women.

Young People in Ecclesial Discernment

A proposal was made to entrust young people with the mission of youth pastoral care, “young people, not adults who act as young people, so as to enter into dialogue with their peers trapped in new age ideologies or nihilism.”

The topic of children was addressed, one intervention mentioned “children forced into arranged marriages for family interests, young girls who are forced to become prostitutes or become the victims of human trafficking, seminarians who come from non-Christian families, or who are forced into the priesthood by honour, and about children who have to come to terms with their homosexuality.” All of this to say that the aim of the Synod is not to produce documents, but instead to inspire action on these issues.

The biggest applause in the Synod Hall was for a mother, who after hearing all the interventions on Christian initiation, 71 in total, was deeply concerned that “there is not enough talk about Christian initiation for the little children”, so much so that she asked “for words of help to raise them in the Christian faith.” This is one of the biggest failures of the Church since Vatican II. The Church did not foresee the big shift in Western culture, that of women entering the workforce. Economic pressures have also necessitated for both parents to work, so long where the days of the mother staying at home teaching the faith to her children, telling the stories of the saints, teaching them to pray. The situation has been compounded by the massive increase in divorce. These are real issues facing the Church today, not the question of women’s ordination. How can we better cathecise children?

This mother added, “What does the assembly say about the role of parents, grandparents, Christian godparents in contributing to synodality on listening and discernment from childhood? We need to raise children so that when they grow up, they will go to Christ.” I think what has happened is that, over the last few decades, parents have relied on the Church to do all the work, with the results plain for all to see.

Parish Priests and Synodality

At the Synod “there was talk about priests, in particular about their loneliness, and their work overload.” This was used to explain why parish priests have been somewhat disengaged by Synodality, because of “heavy burdens, manage several communities, and have imposing administrative burdens.” This might be true, and if it is, it a damning indictment on the Vatican introducing the Synodal Process in the middle of a global pandemic, on men already stretched to their limit. Synodal is supposed to be decision making from the ground up, yet it has been imposed in a top down manner.

***My comment here***

The obvious priest shortage in solely in the novus ordo "religion"!  There is an abundance of vocations in the traditional Catholic movement (faith), with seminaries overflowing with applicants!

                                                    *****

It was also mentioned that the Synod should work to revive their vocations, by mandating more bureaucracy at a Parish level, such as “endowing each parish with economic councils and possibly also structures involving several parishes to help parish priests in their service.”

Is Synodality the cure for the Church on life-support in places like Belgium?

Permanent Deacon Geert De Cubber, of Ghent, Belgium, a former journalist and theologian, used stark, almost apocalyptic language at the Synod Briefing describing the absolute necessity of Synodality for the Church.

He said; “It is a matter of, to put it very bluntly, survival. If we don't march a Synodal way I think there is no chance that the Church in Belgium, for instance, will survive. I think as well that Synodality could be the answer to huge crisis we are facing in Belgium, when it comes to for instance sexual abuse. So that is the way we are called to go. It is as simple as that. There is no escaping from the Synodal way of moving forward with the Church.”

My comment: This is complete lunacy -- and points to desperation and apostasy brought on by the modernist monsters before, during and after Vat. II.  By stating this craziness, it directly contradicts Our Lord's proclamation that the gates of hell will never prevail against His -- TRUE church!

                                                 *****

I think one of biggest problems facing the Church, is that most people don’t know how dire the situation is in places like Belgium. Pope Francis received an incredibly hostile reception. I include the Holy Father as one of those who did not appreciate the scale of the problem. I think after visiting Belgium and the disrespect he received from Leftists, those in politics and those in the Church, he now knows the scale of the problem the Church is facing. I’m afraid to say that Synodality isn’t going to fix the problem, radical witness to the Gospel and the teaching of Christ will, like it has in every age since the incarnation, and as it will continue to do until His second coming."

Correct!

The new novus ordo synodality is a witch's brew of the zeitgeist and destructive modernist heresies, instead of concentrating on the primary purpose of the Church in the first place: the salvation of souls!!

"Dialogue," "listening," "ecumenism," compromise and appeasement to the zeitgeist accomplishes nothing!

Remember, we are dealing with ravenous wolves in sheep's clothing who care nothing for the flock of Christ, but their own quest for power, position, control -- and lust for the flesh

Apostasy On Parade! Synod "Cardinal" Says The Catholic Church Needs To Be ‘Further Enriched’ By ‘Other Churches’

If anyone needed more proof that the new "synodal church" is anything but Catholic, here it is...

From lifesitenews.com and written by Michael Haynes, Snr. Vatican Correspondent

Synod cardinal says the Catholic Church needs to be 'further enriched' by 'other churches' - LifeSite (lifesitenews.com)

Here is the subheading to the article: "Cardinal Kurt Koch confirmed to LifeSiteNews that study on the role of the pope continues, as the implementation of synodality and ecumenism could change the manner of how the papacy is understood and exercized."

I will let this article speak for itself... If this doesn't convince the reader that this is a different church, a church that is not Catholic, then something is very wrong with the critical thinking of that reader!

"VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) — The prefect of the Vatican’s office for ecumenical relations with other Christians confirmed the fundamentally ecumenical nature of the Synod on Synodality today, while also telling LifeSiteNews that a study about how the role of the papacy could change in light of ecumenism and synodality continues.

At a synod press briefing focused on the theme of ecumenism, a synod cardinal and ecumenical “fraternal delegates” (non-voting participants of the synod) spoke about the intrinsic link between the Synod on Synodality and ecumenical religious dialogue.

“One of the most prominent aspects of the synod is its ecumenical dimension,” said Cardinal Kurt Koch – prefect of the Dicastery for the Promotion of Christian Unity – referring back to the Instrumentum Laboris underpinning the origins of the multi-year event:

Among the most significant fruits there is the intensity of the ecumenical promise that marks it. Synodality is the condition to be able to continue our ecumenical journey towards the visible unity of Christians.

Koch highlighted how the synod involves a “true exchange of gifts” which is “not just an exchange of ideas or thoughts, but a true exchange of gifts in which we learn from each other.”

Underpinning the ecumenical aspect of the synod is the presence of a number of “fraternal delegates” – representatives of other churches who are advising the synod members. The fraternal delegates do not have voting rights but serve only in an advisory capacity.

This year there are more fraternal delegates than last year, due to Pope Francis answering the direct request of other churches which apparently were upset at underrepresentation in the 2023 Vatican meetings.

Expanding on the theme of ecumenism, Koch commented that this “exchange of gifts” represents the “conviction” that no church – thus including the Catholic Church – is in a position of not needing to be “enriched” by other churches:

Also the ecumenical journey is an exchange of gifts which takes place in conviction that no church is so rich as not to be further enriched by the gifts from other churches, and at the some time no church is so poor as not to be able to give its own contribution to the whole of Christianity.

This particularly concerns a synodal dimension in the different traditions of the Church.

The theme of exchanging gifts and ideas was echoed by other members of the panel, who hailed from the Church of England, the Eastern Orthodox, and the Mennonite church.

Last year, the Vatican meetings of the synod began with an ecumenical prayer vigil which saw male and female religious leaders from the Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Protestant, Methodist, Baptist, and Evangelical communities congregate at the Vatican with the Pope.

This year, a similar ecumenical event is set to take place October 11, in the Square of the Protomartyrs in the Vatican where St. Peter was martyred, according to the testimony of tradition. The date is deliberately set to coincide with anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council, the opening of which “marked the entry of the Catholic Church into the ecumenical movement,” Koch told reporters today.

The synod has, notably, been ecumenical from the start. In 2021 Pope Francis described it as a “great opportunity for a pastoral conversion in terms of mission and ecumenism.”

The guiding documents urged dioceses to promote “maximum inclusion and participation” and stressed that this must include “Catholics who rarely or never practice their faith … people who have left the practice of the faith, people of other faith traditions, people of no religious belief.”

The key words from the very beginning, in the earliest documents, have been “listening, dialogue,” while those such as “sharing; conversion; being inclusive; journeying together; inter-religious dialogue,” also featured heavily.

Papal primacy and synodal ecumenism

In light of the dual focus on synodality and ecumenism, Koch’s dicastery released a pivotal document in June, “The Bishop of Rome. Primacy and Synodality in the Ecumenical Dialogues and in the Responses to the Encyclical Ut unum sint,” which contains numerous calls to fundamentally alter the understanding of the practice of papal primacy and authority in order to aid ecumenism and synodality.

READ: Pope Francis approves new document elevating ecumenism and synodality above papal primacy

As noted by this correspondent, the text appears aimed at changing the papacy generally, perhaps by stripping away exercise of power in the name of synodality and ecumenism. Such a question of pontifical and episcopal authority is also on the table currently at the synod.

Koch told Vatican News earlier this year that now “the question of primacy for the whole Church, and in particular of the ministry of the Bishop of Rome, is no longer seen only as a problem, but rather as an opportunity for a common reflection on the nature of the Church and its mission in the world.”

In light of these comments, LifeSiteNews asked the cardinal how he “practically” views the role of the pope and papal primacy in the future, given the current emphasis on synodality and ecumenism.

The document “Bishop of Rome,” replied Koch, is “in response to the question of John Paul II in his ecumenical encyclical Ut Unum Sint, where he explains the necessity of the primacy of the Bishop of Rome, but has invited all the churches to enter in a dialogue with him about praxis of the primacy of the Bishop of Rome which is not an opposition or obstacle, but an opportunity for ecumenical dialogue.”

Though not giving specifics on how the papacy might be understood differently, Koch added that the “Bishop of Rome” aimed “to continue and deepen this question, that the primacy of the Bishop of Rome in the future of ecumenical dialogue would not be an obstacle but an opportunity.”

He cited the 2007 Catholic-Eastern Orthodox document of Ravenna which affirmed the Bishop of Rome as the “first see,” though differed on the historical origin and way forward on the point.

“We have seen in the document of Ravenna that the church needs primacy on all levels – local, regional, universal – we have the question of the Bishop of Rome,” said Koch.

Pointing to the dialogue with the Orthodox, Koch said that “we must discuss what is the duty, the responsibility – when we have refined the unity between the Catholic and Orthodox Church – what will be the responsibility of the Bishop of Rome.”

However, he refrained from giving a more precise answer, saying that a wider perspective was needed, not just from the “Catholic side.”

Koch’s comments serve to further highlight the fundamental relationship being made between the synod and ecumenism. Both he and Francis have attested that one cannot happen without the other; however, Koch did not suggest what the Catholic Church might have to learn from other churches, given the fact that the Catholic Church has the means of the “fullness of salvation.”

End of very disturbing article...

It is quite apparent that the modernist monsters are now in full control of the novus ordo, man-made version of the once Catholic church...

These thugs must be defeated at all costs!

Also, I find it "interesting" that those folks, those wolves in sheep's clothing, never mentioned the primary function of the real Catholic Church: the salvation of souls!

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! The Demonic Gov. of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer, Mocks The Holy Eucharist!

 WARNING!  WARNING!  WARNING!

The demonically possessed Gov. Whitmer of Michigan, attacks and mocks the Holy Eucharist by feeding a Dorito chip to a leftist lunatic, kneeling and on her knees and "receiving" the chip on her tongue!

So far, this blasphemous mocking of our precious Eucharist has been reported on breitbart.com and thegatewaypundit.com, as of this writing, lifesitenews.com has not carried this horrendous story...

Before I post the article(s), I wonder would these Christ haters would dare mock Mohammed or the Jews?  I think not.  Sadly, we Catholics are easy and prime targets for these thugs.  Similarly, Catholic churches have been vandalized and burned by the scores over the last decade!  Where is the so-called Dept. of Justice in arresting and prosecuting these devils????

I will say further that there is a reason for these continued attacks and mocking of our religion, but that is another story for another time.  Hint, it emanates from Rome...

You can take your pick as to what article you might want to read, but I must warn you that viewing the very short video will make you mad as hell!  So, I suggest you not view it, period.

VIDEO: Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer Mocks Catholics by Feeding Leftist Influencer Doritos on Her Knees (breitbart.com)

Kamala Harris Campaign Co-Chair Gretchen Whitmer Mocks Catholic Communion With Doritos While Wearing Harris-Walz Hat in Bizarre Dominatrix Video | The Gateway Pundit | by Kristinn Taylor

Here is the post from breitbart.com and written by Dylan Gwinn

"Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer was seen in a video posted by a leftist influencer feeding the woman Doritos while on her knees.

In the video, posted by leftist influencer @feministabulous, Whitmer is wearing a Harris-Walz hat in what appears to be a mockery of Catholics.

X users blasted the video of a pro-abortion governor and pro-abortion influencer mocking the Catholic faith.

The video and the ensuing outrage it provoked among Catholics comes at a precarious time for Democrats, especially in Whitmer’s home state of Michigan.

In an interview with Breitbart’s Matt Boyle on Breitbart News Saturday, Faith and Freedom founder and Chairman Ralph Reed specifically highlighted the critical role the Catholic vote will play in swing states.

“Then you turn to the Roman Catholic vote, which is going to be so critical, particularly in the upper Midwest states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan. He’s already winning the Catholic vote today, 52 to 47 percent,” he said, citing Pew Research data, which he noted was taken before Vice President Kamala Harris became the first nominee for president since the 1980s to decline attending the Al Smith Dinner.

On Thursday, an internal poll by Fabrizio/McLaughlin showed former President Trump with a one-point lead over Vice President Kamala Harris in Michigan."

HYPOCRITES!! "Catholic" Dioceses Across The U.S. Refuse To Offer Masses For Trump!

 Hypocrites!

Our Lord Himself condemned the hypocrisy of the Pharisees on many occasions!

Yet the hypocrisy of some "Catholic" dioceses who refuse to offer Masses for President Trump is the height of hypocrisy!

Why?

They claim they are fearful -- did you get that: fearful! -- that they'll lose their precious tax-exempt status!!

As an aside, did you know that the Catholic Church in Germany is funded by the government -- in other words, by the taxpayer!?

Perhaps that's why they have succumbed to the lunacy of the globalists and, for the most part, trashed the perennial teachings of the Church!

You can add schism, heresy, and treason -- separating themselves from our Blessed Lord!

                                         ******

Here is an article from lifesitenews.com and written by Emily Mangiaracina that will highlight that hypocrisy...

Catholic dioceses across the U.S. refuse to offer Masses for Trump - LifeSite (lifesitenews.com)

First, here is the last paragraph of that article: "Yep highlighted to LifeSiteNews the “irony” of the Catholic churches’ refusal to acknowledge how party stances “reflect or don’t reflect Catholic doctrine” even as they clearly take a stand on state ballot measures, such as Florida’s Amendment 4, which would require abortion to be allowed for any reason before fetal “viability” and render post-“viability” bans effectively meaningless by exempting any abortion that an abortionist claims is for “health” reasons."

(My emphasis.)

"(LifeSiteNews) —Catholic dioceses across the U.S. are refusing to offer Masses for President Donald Trump and other political candidates.

Catholic churches from Philadelphia to Miami and from Spokane to Dallas have confirmed to LifeSiteNews that they will not have a Mass offered for Trump, with the most common explanation being that they cannot get involved in anything political due to their tax-exempt status.

These churches frequently refused to offer a Mass for Trump even with the understanding that such a Mass would be requested for his soul and not his campaign. Church staffers sometimes clarified that they would not offer a Mass for any political candidate.

Devout Catholic Shannon Haase told LifeSiteNews how in the Diocese of San Antonio a friend of hers attempted to submit a Mass request for the “protection and heavenly guidance of Donald Trump” but was refused and was told by her parish that they could not pray for Trump by name but could pray only for the “election” in general.

“Tax exempt status is more important than a soul?” Haase later asked the parish representative to a response of silence, she told LifeSiteNews.

Michael Hichborn of the Lepanto Institute commented to LifeSiteNews that “offering a Mass for the good of a person — whether a politician running for office or not — cannot be construed as a political act because the Mass is not a political prayer.”

“The offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the offering of the infinite good of Christ’s sacrifice on Calvary to God the Father — and when the good of a soul is intended along with that sacrifice, it is no different than the prayer of the Good Thief who died beside Our Lord: ‘remember me when you enter into Your kingdom,’” Hichborn said.

Representatives of the Dioceses of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Dallas, Texas confirmed to LifeSiteNews that their official policies of not allowing public Mass intentions for political candidates are based on U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) guidelines. The USCCB states in its “Do’s and Don’ts Guide for Election Season”: “Do not endorse or oppose candidates, political parties, or groups of candidates, or take any action that reasonably could be construed as endorsement or opposition.”

The Diocese of Dallas further explained to LifeSiteNews that they permit priests to offer Masses for a political candidate as a “private intention, but only if it’s unannounced during the Mass,” and if it’s “not for them to win the election or that they will have a change of heart.”

By contrast, churches in Oklahoma City, Kansas City, Miami, Philadelphia, and Spokane, Washington, as well as in Dallas, San Antonio, and Santa Fe, said they could not offer a Mass for Trump due to its “political” nature despite the specific request that the Mass be offered for his “soul.” Multiple Catholic church employees said that doing something even “considered partially political” could threaten their tax-exempt status, and at least several confirmed the policy was handed down by their diocese, including staffers from Oklahoma City and San Antonio.

A representative of the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee, Florida suggested that they could not offer a Mass for a specific political candidate, because doing so would “impl(y) that we are supporting one candidate or another.” Instead, they would be able to “offer Masses for political leaders in general.”

Catholics for Catholics CEO John Yep has pointed out that the freedom to offer a Mass for anyone is explicitly afforded in canon law. Can. 901 of the 1983 Code of Canon Law states that “A priest is free to apply the Mass for anyone, living or dead.”

Yep has helped launch his organization’s Holy Masses for President Trump Campaign,” which began June 14, Trump’s birthday, and is slated for wrap-up on Election Day, November 5. The campaign has been extremely successful so far despite the policies of many dioceses: Priests have already committed to or offered a total of 1,013 Masses for Trump, Yep told LifeSiteNews.

According to Yep, about 20% of their Mass requests have been denied due generally to their refusal to “get involved in politics.” It is unknown how many of the successful Mass offerings for Trump were private intentions, second or third attempts for Mass offerings, etc.

Yep explained on NewsMax amid the launch of their Mass campaign, “We’re praying right now that Donald Trump is representing us against this invasion of atheistic communism, that he has the courage and the prayers he needs to win this battle.”

Catholics for Catholics has noted that the power of the Mass for a soul is more powerful than any other prayer: “The Church considers the Mass the greatest possible prayer of intercession because it is the perfect offering of Christ to the Father,” the group’s website states.

Yep highlighted to LifeSiteNews the “irony” of the Catholic churches’ refusal to acknowledge how party stances “reflect or don’t reflect Catholic doctrine” even as they clearly take a stand on state ballot measures, such as Florida’s Amendment 4, which would require abortion to be allowed for any reason before fetal “viability” and render post-“viability” bans effectively meaningless by exempting any abortion that an abortionist claims is for “health” reasons."

"VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) — A number of cardinals and other members of the Synod attended a pro-LGBT event hosted by Fr James Martin S.J. and his Outreach group in Rome today, during which a same-sex “married” man called for “love to be expressed.”

“Get to know the real people behind the ‘mask’ who are trying to live a Catholic life,” said Christopher Vella today. “Let’s allow love to be expressed,” he added.

Vella leads the Malta-based LGBT Catholic group Drachma, and spoke today in the hall of the General Curia House of the Jesuits in Rome, at an event held on the sidelines of the Synod on Synodality. He lives as a “bisexual Catholic married to another man.”

Organized by Fr. James Martin’s pro-LGBT group Outreach and the Jesuit-run America Magazine, the event saw cardinals and other members of the Synod gather together to hear the testimony of “LGBTQ Catholics.” It began with a welcome from Father Antoine Kerhuel, S.J., who serves as the secretary of the Jesuits.

Featuring a number of individuals who are “married” to members of the same-sex, the event was called “What is the experience of LGBTQ Catholics?”

Cardinal Stephen Chow, S.J. – Synod member and bishop of Hong Kong – led a prayer during the event, while the second-youngest Synod member Julia Oseka led the closing prayer.

“Jesus our Lord, teach us to journey with each other with respect and gratitude. We do not take for granted this privilege to listen, to learn and to walk together as synodal companions,” Chow prayed, adding:

Oh, Holy Spirit, send us your guiding light of truth, so that our ignorance and prejudices can melt away through this synodal encounter, and a new morn marked by mutual respect and empathic understanding can take shape in our church for our LGBTQ+ sisters and brothers, as well as for ourselves and our church as a whole.

Joining Martin and Vella on the panel was Juan Carlos Cruz, a member of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors, whom Pope Francis is famously said to have told that “God made you gay.”

This story is developing…

End of article but not the end of this disturbing story...

The moral turpitude of these bad actors is astounding -- and it's in your face!  They don't even try to hide their hideous lust for the same sex!

Don't they believe what the Bible relates to us regarding Sodom and Gomorrah??

Do they not fear the Lord??

Do they even believe in the Lord and the Magisterium of His most Holy, Catholic Church??

Do they not fear their accounting at their Particular Judgment??

SSPX: Division Comes From Rome’s ‘Departure’ From Tradition, Not Our ‘Fidelity’ To It

A very lengthy interview with  Father Davide Pagliarani, the Superior General of the Priestly Society of St. Pius X (SSPX)... From lifesite...
