Is he wrong?

No, he is dead, spot on!

The horrific idea that the Blessed Mother is to be cast aside, or the honor and veneration due to her is to be minimized for ecumenical reasons -- to appease non-Catholics -- is part and parcel of the new, synodal church that is being formed in the image and likeness of the zeitgeist, devoid of the Holy Ghost and sanctifying grace!

Further, the errant idea that some Protestants have when they say, "I don't pray to saints," is ridiculous on its face... Why then, do they ask people to pray for them? 

When we pray for someone -- or when they ask us to pray for them -- aren't they asking us to intercede for them?  And when we do, aren't we asking God -- or His Saints and Martyrs to intercede before the thrown of God Almighty?

And who is the one Saint who is absolutely above all other Saints and Angels in the heavenly beatitude?

God's own Mother!  Our Blessed Lady!

And if that is the case, and it is, then doesn't she have the most "influence" and "pull" to plead a case for those still on earth when we pray and invoke her to help us -- or those we pray for???

Do I even have to post the obvious answer??

(By the way, those who think that they can get to Heaven by insulting or despising the Blessed Mother are in for the shock of their souls!)

"(LifeSiteNews) — Bishop Bernard Fellay of the traditional priestly Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) denounced the Vatican’s rejection of Mary’s titles of Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix of All Graces as an “insult to God.”

Asked how the faithful should interpret the recently issued doctrinal note Mater Populi Fidelis, Bishop Fellay said in an interview with Kenya’s Immaculata TV, “I would dare to use the word ‘pitiful.’ It is an insult to God.”

“It’s only God who produces grace in us. But God wants his creatures to collaborate and cooperate in his work. Precisely because He made us free, He wants us to make use of that freedom. And more than that He wants us to merit, He wants us to work.”

“Our Lady at Fatima said there are so many souls who fall into hell because no one prays and makes sacrifices for them,” he continued. “Which means if you pray and make sacrifices you can really save souls. If that’s true for any souls, how much more for the Blessed Virgin Mary? She had been chosen by God to be His mother.”

Bishop Fellay pointed out that popes had used the terms Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix to refer to the Blessed Mother, and he believes “almost all” of the popes have spoken of her in terms of these roles, whether they used these particular terms or not.

He believes that ecumenism has inspired Mater Populi Fidelis, something he pointed out has permeated the Church hierarchy since the Second Vatican Council. The attitude that we must ignore the Blessed Mother is a Protestant one, he added. “There is a Protestant spirit in the Church.”

Bishop Fellay went on to encourage the faithful to ask the Blessed Mother for graces because, as she pointed out in her apparition inscribed on the Miraculous Medal, there are so many graces waiting to be bestowed that people don’t ask for.

Just before these remarks, the bishop had spoken about how Catholic faith in the world has diminished particularly during the 20th century. “The way to Heaven is tough. Our time has reached a higher intensity of evil than before. Temptations are greater than ever,” he said.

He noted that there has been a “terrible crisis in the Church since Vatican II at different levels.”

At one level, he noted, the faith has been diminished, as has the “presence of the Church in the world.” The influence of the church now will be reduced to nothing”

And within the Church itself, religious vocations have diminished as well. “You wonder how far it can go,” he added.

He alluded to then-Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger’s book Salt of the Earth, which predicted that the Catholic Church would dwindle until it was reduced to “little islands.”

“I fear we are very close to that time,” Bishop Fellay remarked. “A lot of things in the Church have already been destroyed.”

He stressed that we cannot rely upon merely human solutions to the state of the world.

“What has made the saints, the glory of the Church before is precisely not human means … There are human problems, but the solution we bring and the Church brings is not purely human. It is essentially, fundamentally supernatural. It’s as our Lord said it. First you seek the kingdom, the justice of God, and the rest shall be given.”'

"(LifeSiteNews) — Vaccine advisors to Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. plan to vote on ending the recommendation of the Hepatitis B shot for infants and discuss other changes to the childhood vaccination schedule.

The federal advisers, selected by RFK Jr., will meet on Thursday and Friday to review the childhood vaccination schedule, according to a report from The Washington Post. The goal is to examine whether vaccines on the recommended schedule are contributing to the rise in allergies, autoimmune diseases, and other conditions such as autism.

The vaccine panel, headed by Kirk Milhoan, a pediatric cardiologist and critic of the COVID shots, plans to vote on ending the Hepatitis B vaccine recommendation for infants within 24 hours of birth. The panel will decide whether to delay the first dose to a later time.

Critics of the very early administration of the first Hepatitis B vaccine dose argue that it represents an unnecessary risk, as the vast majority of children are not at risk of infection.

The vaccine committee makes recommendations to the CDC director on the vaccine schedule. Directors have typically adopted the panel’s recommendations, compelling insurers to cover certain vaccines. These recommendations also provide a guideline for most pediatricians and medical organizations.

“We’re looking at what may be causing some of the long-term changes we’re seeing in population data in children, specifically things such as asthma and eczema and other autoimmune diseases,” Milhoan told The Washington Post.

“What we’re trying to do is figure out if there are factors within vaccines,” he added.

He said that the committee is examining the potential dangers of using aluminum as an adjuvant, an ingredient meant to trigger an immune response strong enough for the body to develop antibodies and protect the person from the disease.

RFK Jr.’s panel has been heavily criticized by establishment health organizations and the pharmaceutical industry. Big Pharma officials have said that removing aluminum from vaccines and replacing it with another adjuvant would cost billions of dollars and take years.

The CDC recently revised its website on the issue of autism and vaccines, now stating, “The claim ‘vaccines do not cause autism’ is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism.” The CDC had previously held that there was definitely no link between vaccines and autism. The change was made at the direct order of RFK Jr.

The McCullough Foundation, founded by famous cardiologist and COVID response critic Dr. Peter McCullough, goes even further in its critique of childhood vaccines. In a recent extensive report, the authors analyzed 12 studies comparing routinely vaccinated with unvaccinated children. According to the report, all of these studies showed “superior overall health outcomes among the unvaccinated, including significantly lower risks of chronic medical problems and neuropsychiatric disorders such as ASD [Autism spectrum disorder].”'

"ABOARD THE PAPAL PLANE (LifeSiteNews) — Pope Leo XIV, during a Tuesday airplane press conference before returning to Rome from Lebanon, warned the German Church against silencing those who do not agree with certain aspects of the German Synodal Way.

During his brief December 2 remarks, the Pontiff emphasized that many German Catholics do not agree with certain aspects of the Synodal Way and that the powerful German bishops spearheading it need to listen to and engage in further dialogue with these faithful so that their voices are not excluded. The heterodox German Synodal Way has openly broken with Church teaching on same-sex “marriage” and gender ideology.

“I am aware that many Catholics in Germany believe that certain aspects of the Synodal Way that has been celebrated in Germany up until now do not represent their own hope for the Church or their own way of living the Church,” Leo said.

“There is need for further dialogue and listening within Germany itself, so that no one’s voice is excluded, so that the voice of those who are more powerful does not silence or stifle the voice of those who might also be very numerous but don’t have a place to speak up and to allow their own voices and own expressions of Church participation to be listened to,” the pontiff added.

In recent years, several German prelates have openly sought to change perennial Church teaching on matters like homosexuality, gender, and women’s ordination through the Synodal Way.

A document approved by participants of the Synodal Way claims that sodomy is “not a sin” and “not to be judged as intrinsically evil.” Another document declared that “transsexual” persons should be admitted to the priesthood.

Pope Leo further stressed that there is an ongoing process within the Roman Curia to ensure the Synodal Way does not depart from the path of the universal Church.

“The group of German bishops has been meeting, for the last couple of years, with a group of the cardinals from the Roman Curia,” he said. “There is an ongoing process … to try and make sure the German Synodal Way does not, if you will, break away from what needs to be considered as the pathway of the universal Church.”

While Pope Leo has shown at least tacit support for pro-LGBT clerics like Father James Martin and, in September, allowed thousands of so-called “LGBT Catholics,” many with their same-sex partners and led by a rainbow cross to process into St. Peter’s Basilica during a jubilee year pilgrimage, he appears to be drawing a line with the German Synodal Way.

In October, Pope Leo’s Vatican said they did not approve the German Bishops’ Conference (DBK) guidelines for “blessings” of homosexual “couples,” the divorced and civilly “remarried,” and other irregular unions, published earlier this year. Bishop Georg Bätzing, the head of the DBK, had previously insisted the heretical guidelines were approved by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF).

The American Pontiff also recently appointed Swiss Cardinal Kurt Koch, who has sharply criticized the Synodal Way, as the new president of the Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need."

"A ruling by the High Court of Justice of the Balearic Islands (TSJB) has set off alarm bells among Spaniards by forcing the introduction of Islamic religion classes in public and state-subsidized private schools in Palma and Inca, including schools with a Catholic ethos.

BREAKING NEWS: Five Muslim families succeed in imposing Islam classes in schools in Mallorca, even in a Catholic center. The Balearic Justice has ordered several schools in Mallorca—including a Catholic one—to offer Islamic religion classes at the request of five Maghrebi families, considering their constitutional right to receive religious education in accordance with their beliefs to have been violated.

This judgment, issued in November 2025, partially upholds the appeal filed by five Maghrebi Muslim families who denounced the “administrative silence” of the Regional Ministry of Education, invoking Article 27.3 of the Spanish Constitution, which protects parents' right to ensure their children receive religious education in accordance with their own convictions.

In some Spanish public schools, Islam is already taught in its entirety as a religion. "(LifeSiteNews) — The Oregon Health Authority is asking students as young as sixth grade what “gender identity and sexual orientation” they identify with, as part of a wide-ranging health survey that has parents in the state outraged.

The anonymous Oregon Student Health Survey states its purpose as to “let us know what’s going on in school and your life. This helps us understand where students like you are doing well and where they may be struggling and need some help to succeed.” It asks students numerous questions about their age, ethnicity, home life, health, and school situation.

It also devotes one of its “demographics” sections to “gender identity and sexual orientation,” asking children if they are male, female, “transgender,” “Two Spirit,” “Demigirl/Demiboy,” “Nonbinary,” “Generfluid,” “Genderqueer,” “Questioning,” “Agender/No Gender,” or various “gender identities” specific to Native Hawaiians or Pacific Islanders. It also asks if students are heterosexual, homosexual, lesbian, bisexual, “pansexual,” asexual/aromantic, or “queer”. It specifies that students can choose more than one answer, and that answering at all is optional.

The Oregon Health Authority claims to have “made it easy for [parents] to opt your child out of the survey. Simply fill in the bottom of the parental notification form sent by the school, sign it, and return it to the school’s front office. The school will make sure that your child does not take the survey.​”

Hillsboro School District communications officer Beth Graser assured Fox News that “Every parent/guardian received advance information about this survey in two ways: through our ParentSquare communication system and via hard copy that was sent home with students.”

But at least one Oregon parent says the survey has come as a surprise to more than a few parents.

“I was made aware of this survey somehow online,” Portland area father Chuck Gonzales told Fox News. “I might’ve got it through an email, but it was a survey that is asking our children grades six, eighth, and eleventh grade issued by the Oregon Health Authority. And the survey, it asks a lot of really confusing things to sixth graders. And one of those is it discusses and asks about their gender and sexual identity. So when I heard about this, I went to the website, downloaded the PDF form, and sure enough, it was just right there.” 

“When I had heard of this survey, none of the parents that I had spoken with or comments online had heard anything about it,” he added. “And of course, plenty of people thought that it was completely made up and ridiculous. But when it actually came out, when I posted the link and I had parents private messaging me to send them the link to the survey so they could opt out.” 

Graser maintains that her school “received a signed opt-out form for [Gonzales’s son Maxwell] and they did not participate in the survey.” Regardless, Gonzales argues that the questions are inappropriate to pose to any young student.

“It is infuriating that the government, the state of Oregon, and these liberal progressives down in Salem can think that they can go into the bedrooms of our children and ask them about things they have no clue about,” he said. “My son had no idea what any of this meant, but he knew that it was weird and sick and gross.”

The indoctrination of children with left-wing ideology on sexuality, race, and other agenda items has long been a major concern in American public schools, from libraries to drag events to classroom materials to even “transitioning” troubled children without parental input. Many schools have also displayed hostility to the rights and employment of individual teachers who refuse to go along with such agendas. 

The Trump administration has taken steps to depoliticize public education, including by ordering the elimination of federal funds to schools that continue diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs and by reversing the Biden administration’s infusion of gender ideology into Title IX rules.

Oregon is no stranger to controversies of “woke” bias in public education. Last month, Grants Pass School District 7 agreed to pay $650,000 to two teachers it wrongfully fired for objecting to its transgender policies."

Among those whose natural death was not reasonably foreseeable (Track 2), over half (50.3%) were concerned about being a burden.

Additionally, 58.1% of those who died by euthanasia in Canada in 2024 cited emotional “distress/anxiety/fear/existential suffering”, a 19.8 percentage point increase on the number of people who cited this end-of-life concern in 2023.

Over a fifth of people (22.9%) who died by euthanasia in Canada in 2024 had “isolation or loneliness” recorded by a medical practitioner in their application for euthanasia. Significantly, 44.7% of those on Track 2, whose deaths were not reasonably foreseeable, experienced isolation or loneliness.

Deaths not reasonably foreseeable

In Canada, euthanasia and assisted suicide are permitted under two separate Tracks, 1 and 2, where the former includes people whose deaths were “reasonably foreseeable”, and the latter includes people whose deaths were not “reasonably foreseeable”.

The total number of people who died by euthanasia under Track 2 increased by 17.12% from 625 in 2023 to 732 in 2024.

There were a total of 732 Track 2 deaths by euthanasia, and these deaths included diabetes, frailty, autoimmune conditions and chronic pain among some of the most commonly cited underlying medical conditions. 56.7% of Track 2 deaths were female compared to 43.3% male.

Of those who died by euthanasia and who responded to the question about whether they self-identified as having a disability (16,104 of the 16,499, 97%), 61.5% of those whose deaths were not reasonably foreseeable self-identified as having a disability, compared to just 31.6% of those whose deaths were reasonably foreseeable.

Legislation was introduced in February 2024 so that euthanasia and assisted suicide would become legal on the grounds of mental health alone in March 2027.

Spokesperson for Right To Life UK, Catherine Robinson, said “It is shocking that almost two-thirds of those who died by euthanasia and whose death was not reasonably foreseeable self-identified as disabled”.

“As we see time and again in Canada and other jurisdictions that record the reasons that people opt for euthanasia and assisted suicide, the end-of-life concerns are predominantly non-medical. ‘Isolation and loneliness’, ‘existential suffering’, being a burden – none of these are medical. Rather, they are psychological, emotional, familial and even spiritual in nature, and the state should not be assisting such people to end their lives to escape this normal part of the human condition”.

“Instead, people experiencing these hardships need support and love, not despair and an early grave. MPs and MSPs in the UK would do well to reflect on the experiences of Canada and understand that we have a chance not to make the same mistakes here”.'
