Charlotte Priests Submit Dubia To Vatican Over Bishop Martin’s Ban On Altar Rails, Kneelers...

What church would ban altar rails and kneelers from the faithful when receiving the Holy Eucharist?

It can't be the Catholic Church, can it?

Well, in fact, in the diocese of Charlotte, North Carolina, "where over 30 priests have submitted questions to the Vatican regarding restrictions on liturgical practices issued by Bishop Michael Martin, including a ban on the use of altar rails and kneelers for Holy Communion."

So, it is a Catholic Church after all!

But the problem is that although the church is Catholic, the man running the diocese is anything but...

Whoever appoints these modernist monsters attempting to stomp out the faith of our fathers can, in no way, be Catholic either!

(Remember it was Pope SAINT Pius X that condemned modernism as the synthesis of all heresies.)

Now, over 30 priests from the diocese, are putting their reputations and their very jobs as preachers of the Gospel message, on the line.

I guess when you get sick and tired of the hate directed toward those faithful Catholics, then something has to give, and these priests have had enough.

Perhaps such actions will focus more attention on these modernist "bishops," and maybe, just maybe some good will come from this massive evil infecting the real Catholic Church!

So, from lifesitenews.com and written by Emily Mangiaracina Tue Jan 6, 2026 - 3:06 pm EST, comes this "shocking" story: Charlotte priests submit dubia to Vatican over Bishop Martin’s ban on altar rails, kneelers - LifeSite

"CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (LifeSiteNews) — Over 30 priests of the Diocese of Charlotte have submitted questions to the Vatican regarding restrictions on liturgical practices issued by Bishop Michael Martin, including a ban on the use of altar rails and kneelers for Holy Communion.

The dubia, signed by 31 priests who make up about a quarter of the clergy in the Diocese of Charlotte, was submitted to the Dicastery for Legislative Texts on January 5, according to The Pillar, which obtained the letter. Two-thirds of the signatories are reportedly pastors.

Bishop Martin’s recently issued “pastoral” instruction on Holy Communion prompted the dubia, the letter notes. This directive from Martin ordered that “The use of altar rails, kneelers, and prie-dieus are not to be utilized for the reception of Communion in public celebrations by January 16, 2026.” It also commanded churches to remove all “temporary or movable fixtures used for kneeling” for Holy Communion by January 16.

The dubia also references draft instruction from Bishop Martin leaked this past summer in which he condemns the use of Latin, priests praying before and after Mass, kneeling for Holy Communion, ornate vestments, and the use of any traditional acts of reverence by priests in cleansing the sacred vessels.

“Both the leaked letter from this past summer and the pastoral letter of December 17 have caused a great deal of concern amongst the priests and faithful of the Diocese of Charlotte, especially in those parishes that have allowed the faithful to use an altar rail or prie-dieu for the reception of Holy Communion,” said the letter accompanying the dubia.

The letter from the Charlotte priests asks the Vatican whether Bishop Martin can ban the use of altar rails where they are already being used by parishioners to receive Holy Communion.

It also questions “whether a diocesan bishop may prohibit the use of kneelers to assist members of the faithful who, of their own accord, wish to receive Holy Communion kneeling.”

Pointing out that the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM) expressly permits kneeling to receive Holy Communion, the letter asks, “As a pastoral provision, may a parochus or rector in charge of a church or oratory place a kneeler or kneelers to accommodate the latter option of those who, of their own accord, wish to receive Holy Communion while kneeling?”

The dubia additionally asks whether a bishop may prohibit the erection of altar rails and order the removal of those already in place. It points to the GIRM’s statement that the sanctuary “should be appropriately marked off from the body of the church either by its being somewhat elevated or by a particular structure and ornamentation.” (GIRM 295)

“Since an altar rail is a common and traditional ‘structure and ornamentation’ that marks off the sanctuary from the body of the church within the Roman Rite, it is asked whether a diocesan bishop has the legitimate authority to prohibit the erection of altar rails within churches or other sacred places in his diocese,” the Charlotte priests wrote in their dubia.

The letter also asks, in reference to Bishop Martin’s leaked draft instruction, whether a bishop may ban priests from wearing certain vestments which are not otherwise prohibited by Church law. In the document leaked this past summer, Martin forbade the use of birettas, crossed stoles, maniples, ornate albs, or Roman chasubles, since they “are seen and understood by the faithful as a clear sign of a priest celebrant who prefers the liturgical (and possibly theological) life of the Church prior to Vatican II given that these vestments have not been seen in most churches around the world since the 1960s.”

The priests therefore asked whether a bishop may prohibit liturgical “elements such as prayers, gestures, chants or ornaments on the grounds that such elements are commonly associated with the pre-Vatican II celebration of the Mass,” given that such traditional practices and vestments are supported by the General Instruction and Redemptionis Sacramentum.

Martin’s diocese-wide orders to abandon the use of altar rails and kneelers has stirred up a storm of controversy in part because they help the elderly and those with other physical impediments to receive Holy Communion while kneeling, and these orders will have the effect of forcing some people to receive the Eucharist while standing.

Liturgist Dr. Peter Kwasniewski recently affirmed that “even according to the rules that govern the Novus Ordo, there is absolutely no basis for a bishop to oppose the use or the construction of altar rails in churches.” He shared a catechesis on altar rails showing that they “have a basis in the historical and theological dimensions of the Mass, and may be utilized and even promoted, in light of recent legislation.”

While Martin has claimed that it is “absurd” to “instruct the faithful that kneeling is more reverent than standing,” he admitted in his pastoral letter that certain liturgical practices and “ritual elements” such as “music, vestments,” and “use of incense” can mark Masses with “greater reverence.” He noted this under the title “The Principle of Progressive Solemnity.”

Most importantly, Scripture itself highlights bending of the knee as a gesture of reverence proper to Our Lord Jesus Christ.

“That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those that are in heaven, on earth, and under the earth,” St. Paul wrote in the Letter to the Philippians (2:10).

As God Himself, the Eucharist deserves nothing less than a posture of profound reverence. Whereas the posture of kneeling is proper to worship of God Himself, standing is a posture one uses when interacting with an equal.

Furthermore, a recent study confirmed that traditional liturgical practices regarding the Eucharist, including the manner in which He is received, increase belief in the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Eucharist.

In fact, Dr. Natalie Lindemann, the author of the study, suggested reinstalling altar rails and offering kneelers during Holy Communion at churches to increase belief in the Real Presence."

What Was The Secret Service Doing? And How Did A Queer Get So Close To The Vice President's Home That He Broke Windows???

I am going to accuse the Secret Service, again, of failing in their duties to protect the highest officials of the land.

(Have we forgotten the two attempts on President Trump's life and other botched security failures of the S.S.?)

The following story is almost unbelievable, and I'll highlight in red the salient points of the S.S.'s incompetence.

From vornews.com and written by Leyna Wong: Trans Activist Vandalizes Vice President JD Vance’s Home Windows - VOR News

"WASHINGTON, D.C. – Just after midnight on January 5, a 26-year-old from Cincinnati’s Hyde Park area was arrested after police say the person used a hammer to break windows at Vice President JD Vance’s Cincinnati home.

Authorities accuse William DeFoor, who identifies as transgender and uses the name Julia DeFoor, of smashing four windows and causing major property damage. DeFoor was charged with felony vandalism, plus misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass, obstructing official business, and criminal damaging or endangering.

The damage happened at a home in East Walnut Hills that is described as a secondary residence for Vance, his wife, Usha, and their three young children. Secret Service agents assigned to protect the property reported hearing a loud noise, then seeing the suspect on the grounds.

According to arrest reports, the suspect broke four exterior windows and also struck a Secret Service vehicle parked in the driveway. After that, the suspect tried to run. Agents detained the individual quickly, and Cincinnati Police officers took custody and booked the suspect into the Hamilton County Justice Center. The Vance family was not home during the incident. They had traveled back to Washington, D.C., the day before, after spending the weekend in Ohio.

Vance addressed the case on social media, calling the suspect “a crazy person” who tried to get in by hammering the windows. He said he appreciated the fast response from the Secret Service and Cincinnati police. He also said he tries to shield his children from the downsides of public life, and questioned the value of sharing photos of the home showing broken windows.

Prior Pandemonium Before Attacking JD Vance’s Home

Court records show DeFoor has been tied to similar incidents in the past. In April 2024, the suspect pleaded guilty to two vandalism counts after causing more than $2,000 in damage to an interior design firm in Hyde Park.

That case was handled through the county’s mental health court program. DeFoor was ordered to complete two years of treatment and pay $5,550 in restitution. Records show treatment was still underway at the time of the latest arrest.

In 2023, a trespassing case tied to a psychiatric emergency services facility was dismissed after DeFoor was found incompetent to stand trial.

Investigators cited the prior record and concerns about repeat behavior when recommending a higher bond, according to court documents. DeFoor is set for arraignment in Hamilton County Municipal Court. Federal authorities are also reviewing whether additional charges could apply, including damaging government property and interfering with federal officers.

Parents Prominent Democrat Donors

DeFoor is listed as the eldest child of Dr. William R. DeFoor Jr., a pediatric urologist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and Dr. Catherine DeFoor, a general pediatrician. Both parents are registered Democrats and have a record of political donations.

Public records say Dr. William DeFoor Jr. gave more than $11,600 to Kamala Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign and related Democratic committees through ActBlue. The family lives in a $1.3 million home in Hyde Park, one of the city’s wealthiest neighborhoods, and the suspect attended private schools while growing up, according to the report.

Social media accounts linked to DeFoor show interest in transgender wellness resources, including likes tied to the Heartland Trans Wellness Center, a local group that supports transgender people. The family has not made a public statement about the arrest, and attempts to contact relatives did not succeed.

The vandalism comes as concerns about political violence aimed at public figures remain high. In recent years, attacks have targeted lawmakers’ homes, including the fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk in 2025 and the June 2025 killings of a Minnesota state legislator and her husband.

Vance has drawn criticism for his views on gender and family policy, and he has dealt with protests near his home before, including incidents that involved his young daughter.

Officials have not released a motive. Investigators are still working to determine whether the act was political, personal, or tied to other factors. Federal prosecutors and local law enforcement are coordinating as they decide whether the case will expand.

As the investigation continues, the incident highlights the security pressures that come with high-profile public service. Vance’s statement focused on keeping his children safe, and he urged restraint in sharing images of the home."

HORROR: Beloved Teacher Killed By Burglar With Extremely Long Criminal Record While Begging 911 Dispatchers For Assistance!!

My question: how long did it take for the police to get to this poor woman's house??

You see my friends, even if the cops were "johnny-on-the-spot," that was too long!

This is why all Americans must exercise their 2nd Amendment rights at all times, end of story.

Now the article I will post, doesn't list how she was killed, but I bet she knew she was going to die, even if the police were "just around the corner" -- and I hope the dispatcher who took her call, will have some sleepless nights for a very long time!

Another question: did this teacher have a weapon in the house to defend herself?

If she did, and she didn't use it, this final act of submission, costs her very existence on this earth.

(The Church teachers that we have a right to defend ourselves, even if it means taking the life of the murderous thug who assaulted -- her!)

Here is the article from thegatewaypundit.com and written by  HORROR: Beloved Teacher Killed by Burglar with Extremely Long Criminal Record While Begging 911 Dispatchers for Assistance | The Gateway Pundit | by Cullen Linebarger

"A beloved teacher was brutally murdered over the weekend by a low-life thug who had no business being on the street to begin with.

As The New York Post reported, police officers discovered 57-year-old teacher Zoe Welsh with life-threatening injuries after police were called to a burglary at her Raleigh, North Carolina home on Saturday.

Raleigh police revealed that Welsh was on the phone with 911 dispatchers, begging for help when the intruder started assaulting her.

Welsh was transported to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

She had taught AP biology and forensic science at Ravenscroft School in Raleigh since 2006.

Police later arrested 36-year-old Ryan Camacho and charged him with Welsh’s murder. His criminal history is extremely long.

Court records obtained by ABC11 show that Camacho has at least two dozen arrests and was found guilty in 2021 of escaping from a prison in Salisbury.

The New York Post reported that last month, a separate case for breaking and entering against Camacho was dismissed by a Wake County judge, who claimed Camacho was found to be incapable of proceeding.

The assistant district attorney tried to have Camacho voluntarily committed, but the court denied the request.

Welsh is being remembered as a wonderful teacher and family person by those who knew her.

“I’ll remember her smile; she was always happy,” said Olivia Alvarez, who worked as Welsh’s house cleaner.

“I love you, Zoe, so much, you are now with God, and this man is going to pay, he’s going to pay,” she added.

Welsh’s friends also took to Facebook, saying that she brought “joy and humor to every room she was in.”

‘The best way we can honor Zoe is to live out her values. Zoe had learned a very important lesson in life that she related to me many times . . . pick joy. Find joy, embrace it, follow it,’ they added.

A Ravenscroft School spokesperson said that Zoe’s death “is deeply felt by all of us who had the privilege of working with her and learning in her classroom.”

North Carolina Democratic Governor Josh Stein released a statement eulogizing Welsh while calling for boosting mental health funding and holding violent thugs like Camacho accountable.

Zoe Welsh, by all accounts, was a special teacher and person. My heart goes out to her family and students, who have suffered a traumatic loss from another senseless act of violence,’ he said before touching on Camacho’s criminal history.

We must invest in our mental and behavioral health system, which my public safety package would address.

People need to be safe in their homes and their communities. I will work with anyone who is committed to stopping crimes before they happen and holding violent criminals accountable."

Pray for the soul of this good teacher -- and for the conviction and execution of the brutal thug who killed her!

Gov. Of Arkansas, Sarah (Huckabee) Sanders, Pushes Back Against Atheists, Unlike The MIlquetoast Politicians And Clergy Pandering To The Hard Left!

"Sanders’ pushback against the Freedom From Religion Foundation is laudable not only because so many other politicians have caved to leftists but because she reminded atheists that Jesus loves them too."

From lifesitenews.com and written by Charles Richards Fri Jan 2, 2026 - 7:05 pm EST: Sarah Sanders stands up to atheists after shutting down state offices to celebrate ’Christ the Savior’ - LifeSite

"(LifeSiteNews) — Secularists and atheists alike were predictably furious with Sarah Huckabee Sanders this past Christmas. It’s just not that they found her professed love for Jesus Christ problematic. It’s that she used her position as governor of Arkansas to spread the truth that Jesus Christ is the Savior of Mankind.

On December 16, Sanders issued a declaration recalling that “more than two millennia ago in the little town of Bethlehem, far from the centers of power in first-century Rome, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born in a humble manger.” Sanders added that “on that first Christmas, Christ’s arrival was unassuming” and “not focused on the wealthy or powerful but rather on the poor, powerless, and meek.”

Sanders then approved an extra day off for state employees on December 26 “in order that [they] may spend this holiday with their families giving thanks for Christ’s birth.”

On December 17, one day later, the anti-Christian Freedom From Religion Foundation – which seemingly had nothing better to do one week before Christmas – published a letter objecting to Sanders’ statement. The group accused her of presenting “core Christian beliefs as government-endorsed truths.”

“When a governor proclaims Christian theology as part of official state business, it sends a clear message that non-Christians are outsiders in their own state or even second-class citizens,” their statement claimed.

Sanders replied with a letter of her own on December 19. In an X post, Sanders said, “Christmas isn’t a just a holiday, it’s the celebration of Jesus Christ’s birth. Meaning matters, we won’t pretend otherwise.” She then explained the rationale for her decision in a follow up letter.

“You say that my communications as Governor must be neutral on matters of religion,” she noted. “I say that, even if I wanted to do that, it would be impossible. Christmas is not simply an ‘end-of-the-year holiday’ with ‘broadly observed secular cultural aspects,’ as your letter states. It’s not gifts, trees, and stockings that make this holiday special. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, and if we are to honor Him properly, we should tell His miraculous, world-changing story properly, too.”

Naturally, the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) refused to let the matter go. They quickly issued yet another snarky statement accusing Sanders, who had just participated in a menorah lightening ceremony, of using her office “as a platform for preaching rather than as a position of trust.”

To her credit, Sanders did not back down. “I will not apologize for or retract my Christmas proclamation giving state workers an extra day off,” she said in yet another X post on December 22.

Sanders’ willingness to push back against the FRFF is laudable, not only because so many lawmakers have genuflected to the altar of political correctness and anti-Christian groups in recent decades, but because she knows that the people who work at the FRFF are loved by Jesus Christ, too. More than anything, her reply was an attempt to remind them of that love that Christ has for them. “Though you may enter this season with bitterness, know that Christ is with you, that He loves you, and that He died for your sins just the same as He did for mine and everyone else’s,” Sander said to them in her letter. What an amazing reminder of the truths found in the Gospel.

Whether the FRFF will follow up with a lawsuit or some sort of campaign to pressure other lawmakers across the U.S. to stop honoring Christmas remains to be seen. Whatever they end up doing they have been given a great reminder by Governor Sanders that those who recognize Jesus Christ as the Savior of Mankind will not be intimidated by them. They have also been shown that Christians, like Our Lord Himself, want those who reject Christ to know that He loves them and wants them to be with Him in heaven for all eternity. May we pray that those who work at the Freedom From Religion Foundation will soften their hearts, give up their fight against Jesus Christ, and come to embrace the true faith in the coming year."

End of uplifting and tough article!!
Pray too that Gov. Sanders embraces the Catholic Faith completely!
