That DAMNED Second Vatican Council!!!!

At the end of my articles, I ask Fr. Vincent Capodanno, among others, to pray for us.

Who was Fr. Capodanno?

He was the "Grunt Padre," in other words, he was the chaplain for a Marine detachment in Vietnam.

In September of 1967 (three months before I entered that country), Fr. Capodanno was ministering the Last Rites to a mortally wounded Marine on the battlefield.

As he was performing the duties of his office, Fr. Capodanno took numerous rounds from a machine gun (or an AK-47), killing him instantly.

He died performing the duties of the Catholic priesthood.

He knew that he would be subjecting himself to that very possibility, yet he also knew that he had to administer the all-important Last Rites to that Marine.

The following article will show just the opposite -- in once Catholic Spain, where priests were not allowed to minister to the dying on a train that had derailed...

How sad and destructive to those souls...

From lifesitenews.com, written by John-Henry Westen Tue Jan 27, 2026 - 5:00 pm EST: Spain blocks priests giving last rites after deadly train crash. Does Vatican II agree? - LifeSite

"(LifeSiteNews) — Imagine lying on the ground, knowing you’re about to die.

The train you took home in the evening derailed, throwing you and everyone else against the wall of the carriage. All around you, people are moaning in pain. Some of them are already dead. Others – like you – know that they will be dead soon too.

And imagine you can hear a conversation taking place, just outside the train.

“We need to get in,” you hear a man say. “We need to get to the dying.”

“You can’t, Father,” comes a reply. “This is an emergency health and rescue situation. We can’t let you in there to interfere.”

“Interfere?!” you hear another man say. “We are priests of Jesus Christ. We have to get the last rites to anyone still alive.”

“Father, I’m in charge of this scene. I can’t let you in. You might jeopardize a future investigation.”

“Souls are at stake!” the first priest’s voice comes back. “Captain, I demand that you let us in.”

“Father!” you try to call. But your words don’t come out. You’re ebbing away.

But you… you were planning on going to confession on Saturday, weren’t you? You had that one mortal sin on your soul, committed in a moment of weakness, but committed freely. And there will be no Saturday for you, now.

But just out there, not far away at all, is a priest with the power to absolve you – and with the will to enter a dangerous situation to do so. But he is being prevented from doing so, because “just public order,” as decided by the emergency services, must be observed.

Now friends, this is not just some melodrama.

Just a few days ago, on January 18, a passenger train derailed in Adamuz, Spain. Soon after it, another train crashed into it and derailed itself too.

According to the Spanish outlet Voz Populi, 45 people died. Other sources estimate that 292 were injured, and 15 were left in a critical condition.

This was the worst railway catastrophe in Spain since 2013.

And yes: it’s come to light that more than one priest from the Córdoba diocese rushed to the scene to bring the life-giving sacraments of Jesus Christ to the dying – and that the authorities prevented them from reaching the victims.

Spanish law contains provisions for citizens “to receive religions assistance” in a hospital or health center – but in circumstances like this, Voz Populi reports, “there is an absolute priority for health and rescue assistance,” and “religious assistance cannot ‘interfere’ with ‘rescue’ work.”

“Ridiculous!” I can hear some of you saying. “Isn’t the soul more important than the body? The Church should have the right to carry out her mission, nothing can be allowed to get in the way of that.”

Indeed, you are correct. This is the teaching of the Church – but… it is not the teaching, I’m afraid to say, of Vatican II.

Now, bear with me. This is not about scoring cheap points on the back of a tragedy. This is deadly serious.

Before Vatican II, the Church taught that, as the true Church of Jesus Christ, she had a right to absolute immunity from the state in the carrying out of her mission. She taught that the civil authority had a duty to help her carry out her mission.

The Catholic states – like Spain, I might add – recognized all this.

A priest would unquestionably be allowed in to administer to the dying. Any exceptions to this were just that – exceptions.

The immunity of the Church from the state, and her liberty in carrying out her mission, and the state’s duty to assist her in this: this is what is meant by the phrase “Christ is King” – even if those who throw it around as a slogan don’t really realize it.

But that all changed at Vatican II. Dignitatis Humanae is the most controversial document of that council, and it’s the document that attempted to redefine the Church’s teaching on religious liberty.

And because now the Vatican was advocating for all religions, rather than only the one true faith, they had to suggest that such religious liberties be qualified with “due limits.” The new teaching was that everyone had a right to religious freedom: to the free exercise of their own religion, unless – and I quote – “just public order” required otherwise.[1]

But once you’ve made that change, something important happens in practice: you give the civil authority the power to decide what those due limits are, and what constitutes just public order. You can’t claim that the Church still has the right to determine that: you’ve already given the power to do so away.

It’s true that the Vatican document says that the civil authority cannot “inhibit acts that are religious.” But the text is clear: religious acts can indeed be inhibited if “public order” requires it. And as I said, it’s not the Church who will be deciding what “public order” requires.

And that’s exactly what happens. It’s what happened in Spain, where the emergency services get to decide that the “due limits” of “just public order” mean that priests can’t enter a disaster zone and help prepare the dying for their judgment.

It’s what happened during COVID, when the governments of the world decided that “due limits” of “just public order” required churches to be closed, and the holy sacrifice of the Mass was to be suspended – while liquor and pot stores were still allowed to be open.

It’s what happened in England, when the Catholic Member of Parliament Sir David Amess was stabbed to death by an Islamist in 2021. A priest arrived on the scene to administer the last sacraments, but he was not allowed in by the police.

It’s no use complaining about the Spanish police, suggesting that they are anti-Catholic, or lack a proper appreciation of the sacraments and the supernatural order. It was Vatican II that put them in the position of making these decisions and practically – if not in principle – subjecting the Church to the state.

So what can we take home from this?

  1. The novelties of Vatican II are not harmless. They affected David Amess, the victims in Spain, and all of us during COVID. And they could affect any of us again, too, if we find ourselves in a disaster like this, or victims of a terrorist attack, or any other terrible circumstances.
  2. Stay in a state of grace. “You know not the day or the hour,” said Our Lord. One mortal sin merits an eternity in Hell. Do not commit mortal sin, and do not presume on the mercy of God or the ease of going to confession. As St Augustine famously said: God has promised us mercy, but he has not promised us tomorrow. And habits of venial sin incline us to mortal sin – so we must fight against them too.
  3. Understand what to do if you are in a disaster situation. You need to try to make an act of perfect contrition. Calling upon the help of God, picture Our Lord on the cross before you – look at his hands and his feet, his side, and his head. Look at his wounds from the scourging, and think of his terrible suffering. Ask yourself what he is doing there: he is dying. What is he dying for? To bring glory to God and to save mankind. Why does mankind need saving? Because of sin – our sin – your sin and my sin. Our sins are what nailed him to the cross, and he was nailed there willingly and full of love. He loves us, and longs to save us. Make acts of faith, hope and charity – and the best act of contrition you can, as slowly and with as much love for God as you can muster. As well as this, know how to administer an emergency baptism, and be ready to help and encourage those around you to faith in Christ, love for him, and sorrow for their sins.

Let’s pray for the souls of those who died in this crash, and for their loved ones – and pray, every day, for a good death ourselves. As the Litany of the Saints says: “From a sudden and unprovided for death, deliver us, O Lord.”

Is This Heresy? If Not, Then What Is It???

 This is stunning!!

From lifesitenews.com, written by Emily Mangiaracina Mon Jan 26, 2026 - 1:08 pm EST: Pope Leo says different Christian faiths are 'already one' - LifeSite.

After reading this article, form your own opinion and pray for the conversion of Prevost and the entire Vatican regime...

"VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) — Pope Leo XIV concluded the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity by declaring that different Christian faiths are already “one.”

“We are one! We already are! Let us recognize it, experience it and make it visible!” Leo said in his Sunday homily on the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul at the Basilica of St. Paul outside the Walls in Rome.

As Vatican News put it, he stressed how “different Christian religions share the same faith.” His remarks were addressed to clergymen of schismatic and heretical churches, including the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, the Armenian Apostolic Church, and the Anglican Communion.

Leo’s claim directly contradicts Catholic teaching as laid out in the Catechism of St. Pius X, according to which the Church is united by the “same faith,” “same worship,” “same law” “and in participation of the same Sacraments, under the same visible Head, the Roman Pontiff.” Therefore, schismatic churches that reject the authority of the pope, such as Eastern Orthodox churches, and heretical sects such as the Anglican Communion cannot be said to be unified, or “one,” with the Catholic Church.

The Catechism of the Council of Trent affirms, “It is the unanimous teaching of the Fathers that this visible head is necessary to establish and preserve unity in the Church.”

Likewise, in the encyclical Satis Cognitum, promulgated on June 29, 1896, Leo XIII taught that Christian unity is grounded in shared faith, the sacraments, and governance. The document explicitly rejected the idea of an invisible or merely spiritual Church and affirmed that full unity requires adherence to the authority established by Christ in the Catholic Church.

In his Sunday homily, Leo XIV also invoked Pope Francis’ claim that the “synodal” path of the Catholic Church “is and must be ecumenical, just as the ecumenical journey is synodal.”

“As we look toward the 2,000th anniversary of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus in 2033, let us commit ourselves to further developing ecumenical synodal practices and to sharing with one another who we are, what we do and what we teach,” Leo said.

Demonic Trinity: "Cardinals" Cupich, McElroy, Tobin, And Trump Derangement Syndrome

These heretics are still in charge of the "henhouse," causing more and more damage to the real Catholic Church!

Their "church" is the new, novus ordo, synodal mess that the world sees as the Catholic Church, but in reality, is a bastardized version that the Saints and Martyrs suffered and died for, for over 2,000 years...

The article from lifesitenews.com, written by Peter MichaelsFri Jan 23, 2026 - 6:18 pm EST: Cardinals’ letter against Trump’s foreign policy is a blatant political attack - LifeSite, will point out the hypocrisy of these wolves in sheep's clothing.  Let's face it, they have no shame...

"(LifeSiteNews) — By now it shouldn’t be surprising when Catholic clergy counter-signal President Trump. It happened first when Pope Francis attacked him for wanting to build a border wall in 2016. It happened in December of last year when Leo indirectly rebuked him for his peace plan in Ukraine, which he said would “break apart” the U.S.’s “alliance” with Europe. And it happened again earlier this month when three of the most liberal members of the American Church’s hierarchy pushed back on his foreign policy.

On January 19, Cardinal Blase Cupich, Cardinal Robert McElroy, and Cardinal Joseph Tobin, C.Ss.R. published what several mainstream media outlets rightly noted was an “unusual” statement subtly rebuking the Trump administration for its approach to international affairs, a topic that under former president Joe Biden the three oddly never opted to weigh in on.

While specifically mentioning Venezuela, Ukraine, and Greenland, Cupich, McElroy, and Tobin expressed concern about national sovereignty across the world being under attack. They also worried that “the building of just and sustainable peace” is being “reduced to partisan categories that encourage polarization and destructive policies.”

“Our country’s moral role in confronting evil around the world, sustaining the right to life and human dignity, and supporting religious liberty are all under examination,” they argued. They further claimed that the “moral foundation for American policy is beset by polarization, partisanship, and narrow economic and social interests.”

Seemingly referencing cuts to USAID, they also worried that “wealthy nations” are wanting to “reduce or eliminate their contributions to humanitarian foreign assistance programs.”

It doesn’t take an advanced college degree to know what is being said here. The cardinals are clearly upset that the Trump administration is seeking to implement a more realist America-first foreign policy that withdraws the U.S. from serving the interests of the liberal world order that was constructed in the 20th century following the Second World War. They are also paranoid over the possibility that the U.S. will no longer provide a free ride for Europe and that its longtime promotion of UN and globalist-backed groups is coming an end. If one ever needed proof the Deep Church is the handmaid of the global Deep State, this letter is it.

What is especially concerning – though not unpredictable – about this letter is that while it rightly speaks of peace among nations, it fails to mention the fact that peace can only be brought about by a conversion of nations to the Catholic religion. “When once men recognize, both in private and in public life, that Christ is King, society will at last receive the great blessings of real liberty, well-ordered discipline, peace and harmony,” Pope Pius XI’s 1925 encyclical Quas Primas reads.

Being the liberals that they are, it is rather rich to hear Cupich, McElroy, and Tobin speak of their concern for “abortion and euthanasia” and how “the right to life” and “religious liberty” are being violated.

First, do they not know that the Trump administration has aggressively called out religious liberty violations taking place across the world, especially in places like Nigeria, but also here in the U.S., where it has taken the government’s boot off the neck of Christians and pro-life groups?

Second, on dozens of occasions over the last decade Cupich, McElroy, and Tobin have repeatedly sought to downplay the intrinsic evil of abortion while trying to upgrade “social justice” issues like gun control and “climate change.” Seeing them express concern over the killing of preborn children when the Trump administration has broadly sought to prevent that from happening is puzzling.

Third, when Joe Biden spied on Latin Mass attendees and persecuted pro-lifers like Mark Houck, Cupich, McElroy, and Tobin did not issue a joint letter. Deciding to speak up now when, in years past, they were silent on the violations they say they are now deeply concerned about reeks not only of Trump Derangement Syndrome but of a blatant political decision meant to give moral cover to liberals who want to attack the administrations’ efforts.

Other American clergy and laity have fretted about the U.S.’s foreign policy as well. Earlier this month heterodox Catholics were furious when the Trump administration announced it was withdrawing from over 60 leftist international organizations. In a statement provided to left-wing outlet National Catholic Reporter, Bishop Elias Zaidan claimed that the decision will “have painful and direct repercussions on the lives of vulnerable populations and God’s creation already suffering from a changing climate.” Zaidan chairs the USCCB’s Committee on International Justice and Peace.

Trump’s Secretary of State Marco Rubio, however, defended the administration’s decision. In a press release titled “Withdrawal from Wasteful, Ineffective, or Harmful International Organizations,” Rubio rightly complains that, “what started as a pragmatic framework of international organizations for peace and cooperation has morphed into a sprawling architecture of global governance, often dominated by progressive ideology and detached from national interests.”

He continues: “From DEI mandates to ‘gender equity’ campaigns to climate orthodoxy, many international organizations now serve a globalist project rooted in the discredited fantasy of the ‘End of History.’ These organizations actively seek to constrain American sovereignty. Their work is advanced by the same elite networks – the multilateral ‘NGO-plex’ – that we have begun dismantling through the closure of USAID.” This is precisely what Cupich, McElroy, and Tobin oppose.

U.S. Nuncio Christophe Pierre delivered a speech late last year on the Church’s assessment of current political movements. While some left-wing Catholics see his critique of “woke culture” and “post-liberalism” as being nuanced, at the end of the day, his remarks failed to see things correctly, as he hyperbolically mischaracterized the rise of nationalism in the face of globalism as being pushed by “ultra-conservatives” who are leading persons “towards authoritarian temptations or towards a fundamentalism that contradicts the legitimate plurality of modern life.” This is tantamount to defending the status quo.

The Trump administration and the Church hierarchy’s will continue to be at odds with one another, as their visions for the future of the international order are rooted in diametrically opposed principles. Whereas one sees “climate change,” open borders, and entities like the UN as outdated and even harmful initiatives of a failed liberal system that is suppressing a much needed adaptation to a changing world order, the other sees them as necessary and beneficial to maintaining the old way of doing things on the world stage."

Marxist Communists Are Now Controlling Virginia! Virginia Democrats Introduce Bills That Would Attack Election Integrity, ‘Legalize Crime,’ Raise Taxes

These new Marxist traitors have also slated unrestricted abortion to their evil agenda -- that's all the way up to birth!

One of the things that always amazes me is the look on the faces of these anti-life brutes: almost always smiling!

Will they be smiling when they go to their Particular Judgment?

I don't think so...

Just my two thoughts on the subject...

Here now is the article from lifesitenews.com, written by Doug Mainwaring

Wed Jan 21, 2026 - 10:41 am EST: Virginia Democrats introduce bills that would attack election integrity, 'legalize crime,' raise taxes - LifeSite, that will demonstrate the lunacy of these maniacs...

"RICHMOND, Virginia (LifeSiteNews) — Now that Democrats have complete control over the Virginia legislature and governor’s mansion, they have introduced a tsunami of new bills that, if passed into law, will remake the Commonwealth in the image of a socialist state in decline.

Statements from engaged observers at first sound to be outrageously exaggerated, but in fact it’s Virginia Democrats’ horrific slate of anti-life, anti-American, pro-crime, and pro-unfettered illegal immigration amendments that are outrageous.

“Democrats won Virginia and are going full Marxist,” noted online commentator Mike Cernovich. “Taxes at California levels. Banning white men from government contracts. Surveillance tech cameras to issue tickets. Internet voting. Gun bans.”

“There is no such thing as a moderate Democrat,” he added.

“Democrats take absolute power in Virginia and the first thing they do is introduce the ‘Legalize Crime’, ‘Steal All Future Elections’, and ‘Duplicate Somali Daycare Fraud’ Acts,” declared Virginia political commentator Christian Heiens on X. “Democrats campaigned on ‘lower utility bills’ in 2025 and we’re instead getting lower sentences for robbery and outlawing hand-counting election ballots in 2026.”

“Democrats in Virginia have introduced a bill to eliminate mandatory minimum sentencing for rape, manslaughter, assaulting a law enforcement officer, possession and distribution of child pornography, and all repeat violent felonies,” noted Heiens.

“If this passes, judges will be able to impose no prison time at all on someone if they are convicted of any of these crimes,” explained Heiens. “We’ve already seen this take place in other Blue states (and in some European countries), where criminals are given light or, in some cases, no sentence at all for crimes they commit because bleeding heart liberals sitting on the bench believe they just don’t know any better.”

More than that, state Democrats have introduced a bill mandating that all health insurance contracts include coverage to pay for over-the-counter condoms.

In another incredible move meant to weaken Virginia citizens’ control over their own lives, the newly elected legislature has proposed to virtually eliminate election integrity in the state.

“Democrats have been in power in Virginia for ~48 hours and they’ve already introduced a bill to ban the hand-counting of election ballots,” noted Geiger Capital. “Prohibits such ballots from being counted by hand for any reason[.]”

Catholic political commentator Greg Price compiled a list of some of the many bills Democrats hope to ram into law now that they hold all the levers of power in Virginia.

It’s an endless socialist wish-list.

“What a spectacular reminder that we no longer live in an era where there’s an existence of a ‘moderate Democrat,’” Ruthless podcast host Josh Holmes told Fox News’ Bret Baier.

“For the last six months, those of us who pointed out that the Mamdanis of the world had taken over the Democratic Party were assured, ‘No, no, no, that’s not the new face of the Democratic Party. It’s people like moderate Abigail Spanberger,’” said Holmes.

“She’s there for a cup of coffee, and all of a sudden we have a communist manifesto out in front of us,” he continued. “This is going fast and furious, but it is how Democrats govern, regardless of what they say, even in a purple state like Virginia, Youngkin didn’t govern as a right wing lunatic. She’s trying to take it so far left it’s almost unrecognizable.”
