Under one of those Biden administration-era officials, former FBI Director Christopher Wray, the FBI had also repeatedly targeted, intimidated, harassed, and entrapped pro-lifers and Latin Mass Catholics.

“Justice is coming,” she warned.

The 50-page report, which had reportedly been hidden for more than four years, contains scathing testimony of scores of agents who expressed their dissatisfaction with how the bureau handled the events on that day, complaining that the agency had been taken over by liberal bias and “wokeness” and allowed its employees to become “pawns in a political war,” according to Just The News, which broke the story overnight.

“The most persistent complaint was that the bureau during the James Comey and Chris Wray era had become infected with political biases and liberal ideology that treated the protesters from the summer 2020 Black Lives Matter riots far differently than those arrested in the aftermath of the Jan. 6 episode,” the Just The News report summarized. 

The FBI’s Washington Field Office “is a hopelessly broken office that’s more concerned about wearing masks and recruiting preferred racial/sexual groups than catching actual bad guys,” said one employee.

“Our response to the Capitol Riot reeks of political bias,” wrote a frontline agent.

“We have been used as pawns in a political war, and FBI leadership fell into the trap and has allowed it to happen,” wrote another. 

“The actions on January 6, 2021 were absolutely despicable and unacceptable in a civilized society. What is even more unacceptable was the hypocrisy displayed by the FBI and its leadership in their attempt to go after those involved in the Capitol Riots, while we as agents, watched cities burn across America during the summer of 2020,” said yet another agent.

“The conspiracy to commit crimes at the Capitol on January 6th, were also committed by bad actors during the summer riots of 2020 leading up to the election on November 3, 2020. “Even worse, officers were assaulted in the streets in broad daylight with cameras rolling, and yet our response then was nothing like the Capitol Riots response on and after January 6, 2021,” noted the agent. “I do not recall a single instance where the FBI, specifically FBI WFO, made any attempt to put the resources behind the summer riots of 2020, as they did during the Capitol Riots.”

“During the more than two years I have been investigating the events of January 6, I have seen evidence that suggests potential political bias within agencies that may have influenced their actions before, during, and after the events of January 6. But this report is more damning than anyone could have imagined and opens up even more questions,” Rep. Barry Loudermilk, chairman of the subcommittee investigating the weaponization of law enforcement on January 6, told Just the News. 

“Why is Congress just finding out there were significantly more FBI assets at the Capitol than previously identified? Were the courts that heard cases regarding January 6 made aware these agents were at the Capitol? Were any of the agents tasked to investigate individuals at the Capitol? Were they ever called to testify during the prosecutions of J6 defendants? Did any of the former FBI leaders testify about the additional personnel at the Capitol? These are just a few of the questions my committee will be asking,” Loudermilk told the news outlet."

"LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (LifeSiteNews) — A Catholic university in Wisconsin has directed employees to include their preferred gender pronouns in email signatures, in defiance of natural law, Scripture, and Catholic teaching.

A September 2 memo sent to Viterbo University’s employees by Erin Edlund, the vice president for marketing, communications, and enrollment, offers a template for email signatures that includes a place for preferred gender pronouns.

“ACTION REQUESTED: Updating email signatures and profile photos,” read the email’s subject line.

The memo, obtained by The College Fix, outlines the template as follows:

The memo announces that the university is making “a few small but important changes” to its email signature guidelines “to improve consistency, professionalism, and alignment with our updated university brand.”

Edlund included “she/her/hers” as her gender pronouns in her own email signature.

The template has also been published, via a file attached to Viterbo University’s website page “Branded Signature for Outlook/Zoom Pronouns.” The page also includes specific instructions to add preferred pronouns to one’s Zoom display name.

The pronouns request has reportedly sparked controversy among a local Catholic community. The College Fix has referred to an email chain that highlights Viterbo’s email signature policy but has not revealed the contents of the email.

The university claims in its “brand guidelines” to have a “Catholic, Franciscan identity,” but it does not actually reference Catholic beliefs or values in its stated “mission,” “identity,” “core values,” or “vision” as described on its “About” page.

The embrace of gender pronouns is doubly egregious for a Catholic university. It first entails a denial of biological reality in favor of one’s “preferences,” thus rejecting the very foundation of a true education: taking objective truth seriously. 

It is egregious also because it rejects God’s created order and will, as made clearly known in Scripture (“Male and female He created them” (Genesis 1:127)) as well as through reason. Gender ideology, the idea that one’s “gender identity” can be distinct from one’s biological sex, is contrary to Catholicism. 

Tom Nash, a Catholic Answers apologist, told The College Fix that Viterbo’s decision “is another bowing to the zeitgeist, i.e., the spirit of the age, which says we can determine who we are, not our Creator.”

“It seems like a misguided attempt at solidarity with students—and perhaps faculty and staff as well at Viterbo University—who are experiencing gender-identity disorder (GID),” Nash said.

Viterbo University also sponsors a “Pride Club,” which began in 2011 as the “Gay Straight Alliance.” The club has attended local drag shows and has previously set up “areas around campus for students to stop and learn about different identities.”

Nash told the Fix the university should instead support efforts to help students embrace their God-given sex and sexuality.

“Students who experience same-sex attraction (SSA) should benefit from a Courage group established on campus, and the school’s related counseling should also conform with the Church’s teaching,” he said. “Similarly, the university should reverse its policy on permitting students to choose pronouns at odds with their God-given biological sex.”

The promotion of preferred gender pronouns has occurred at other so-called Catholic universities, such as Loyola Marymount University, a Jesuit institution in Los Angeles, where a few years ago a professor mandated the use of gender pronouns in students’ required blog posts."

Money Talks: Why Cupich May Be Honoring Pro-Abortion Sen. Durbin

 Would you be surprised if this is true?

When it comes to corruption and apostasy, money is usually at the center of what we see and hear, especially coming from so-called "cardinals," such as the likes of Cupich in the war zone of Chicago.

Following this particular money trail, it makes sense, sort of...

Cupich has been caught with his hand in the spiritual and monetary cookie jar, so now he has to "double down" with his extreme support of a publicly known baby killer!

But then again, he's not Catholic so that explains that!!

Note too, how Cupich squirms when asked how he squares his diabolical position with real Catholic Church teachings -- the Natural Law and the Ten Commandments!

"Chicago’s Cardinal Blase Cupich is doubling down in the face of backlash to his decision to honor pro-abort Sen. Dick Durbin. Durbin is a Catholic who lives in Chicago, with a long track record of voting in favor of abortion.

“Recently some have criticized the decision of the Archdiocese of Chicago to recognize Senator Dick Durbin at our annual fundraiser for our immigration ministry, Keep Hope Alive,” he wrote in a Sept. 22 statement.

He went on to reaffirm his decision to bestow an award on the pro-abortion Catholic Democrat, in spite of vocal opposition from the public, including bishops.

Bishop Thomas Paprocki of Springfield, Illinois told Catholic media organization The Pillar, “I was shocked to learn that the Archdiocese of Chicago plans to honor Senator Richard Durbin with a Lifetime Achievement Award.”

Paprocki is bishop of Durbin’s home diocese, where Durbin has been banned from receiving Holy Communion since 2004.

In a Sept. 23 article, Paprocki noted, “Cardinal Cupich did not consult with me about this award or even notify me about his decision. I learned about it in the media.”

Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco, California weighed in,  saying he stands “in solidarity” with Bp. Paprocki. Both bishops, along with thousands of people on social media, called on Cupich to rescind the award.

Bishop James Conley of Lincoln, Nebraska also expressed dismay: “I too was shocked and bewildered to learn of this Lifetime Achievement Award to be presented to U.S. Senator Dick Durbin.”

Considering the rarity of such public opposition among Catholic hierarchy, who usually reserve such criticisms for private communications, the public rebukes are noteworthy, and have drawn national headlines. They indicate that Cupich’s star may be descending under this pontificate, whereas he held greater power and influence under the late Pope Francis.

Cupich refuses to budge.

Federal purse strings pulled for Chicago archdiocese

Cupich has a long and friendly history with Durbin, who has pulled the federal purse strings for the Chicago archdiocese.

Durbin sits on the Senate Appropriations Committee, a seat he has occupied for nearly three decades. The committee is one of the most powerful and significant bodies in the U.S. Senate.

It “writes the legislation that allocates federal funds to the numerous government agencies, departments, and organizations on an annual basis.” In other words, it controls where federal money goes and how much is given.

Every U.S. government agency relies on the Appropriations Committee for funding. This includes a broad range of special interests, including some of the most powerful: defense contractors, oil and gas companies and bankers, among others.

In 2020, in a staged phone call, Durbin, along with fellow Illinois Democrat Sen. Tammy Duckworth, spoke with Cupich about increased funding for Catholic Charities Chicago. At the time, Catholic Charities was experiencing a loss in revenue, and Durbin used the highly publicized phone call to stress his support for more money to flow to Cupich’s archdiocese.

“I will continue to work with my Senate colleagues to provide nonprofits the financial support they need to weather this storm and continue helping the most vulnerable in our state,” Durbin said on the call.

Earlier that year, Durbin had co-signed a letter urging the Senate to include emergency funding for nonprofits like Catholic Charities Chicago.

Several months after that call, Durbin’s committee approved expanded COVID relief for nonprofits, which directly benefited the Chicago archdiocese.

Catholic Charities received $1.4 billion total, with more than $8 million going to Chicago’s arm — the single largest PPP loan of all Catholic Charities affiliates in the country. The second highest was the San Francisco archdiocese, with a loan of nearly $6 million.

The Chicago archdiocese itself received $77 million from the Paycheck Protection Program.

It was the second-highest award for all Catholic archdioceses, with Los Angeles taking top place at $80 million. Third highest was the archdiocese of Boston, which received $35 million.

Cupich won’t ban Durbin from Holy Communion

Durbin has been banned from receiving Holy Communion in the Springfield diocese since 2004, a ban that was renewed by Bp. Paprocki in 2018 after Durbin voted against the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

In fact, Durbin has voted for the most extreme abortion measures, including voting to legalize partial-birth abortion, and against providing medical care for infants born alive after botched abortions.

“I think that is fundamentally unfair,” Durbin said of his communion ban. “I don’t think anyone should be judged in that matter.”

Cupich has welcomed him with open arms. Durbin said: “I found another Catholic venue, the Archdiocese of Chicago, and a church where they were willing to let me in and allowed my wife to join me. So it’s become my new faith home.”

Cupich has a long history of rejecting Canon 915 of the Catholic Code of Canon Law, which makes it mandatory to deny Holy Communion to public figures “obstinately persevering in manifest grave sin.” This would include politicians who vote in favor of abortion.

In a 2014 Face the Nation interview, Cupich said, “I would not use the Eucharist, or, as they call it, the Communion rail, as a place to have those discussions, or a way in which people would be either excluded from the life of the Church.”

The bottom line

Some have wondered why Cupich is not bestowing the Lifetime Achievement Award to the far more deserving Illinois Democrat Rep. Dan Lipinski, who holds similar positions on immigration, yet has a stronger pro-life voting record.

Lipinski does not have direct access to the federal purse strings, and therein may lie the answer.

And On And On It Goes... Pope Leo Appoints New Calcutta Archbishop Known For ‘Interreligious,’ Ecological Focus!!

 So, you were hoping that under the new pope, Leo, things just might have the slightest chance of bringing back some sense of "normalcy" to the papacy and real Catholic Church teachings?

You were willing to "give him a chance" and see in what direction he would take the church?

You also realize that right after he was "elected," he said that he would continue the "synodal" "reforms" in the church under his predecessor, Bergoglio...

Well, his many appointments to date have crushed any hope of a return to sanity and authentic church teachings, I'm sorry to report.  But don't take my word for it, just do a simple search and see for yourselves the anti-tradition, TLM-hating "bishops" now in control and suppressing and canceling the Mass of the ages, forcing the faithful to travel outrageous number of miles to attend the sublime Mass of the Saints and Martyrs.

Not only that, but the support of some of the most heinous sins that cry to Heaven for vengeance seems to be of great interest to some of these appointments!

In addition, we see good priests who preach the unchangeable truths get cancelled or thrown out of the priesthood, while known heretics and perverts remain in good standing?!

"(LifeSiteNews) — Pope Leo XIV appointed Bishop Elias Frank as Archbishop of Calcutta, one of India’s most prominent Catholic sees, after serving just two years in the Diocese of Asansol.

Frank, 63, was appointed to the post of coadjutor in June. He now formally succeeds Archbishop Thomas D’Souza this month in a jurisdiction with 180,000 Catholics and 55 parishes.

A canon lawyer by training, Frank studied in Rome and served as a professor at the Pontifical Urbaniana University and visiting professor at the Pontifical Alphonsian Academy. He was also a consultor to the Dicastery for Divine Worship and worked on marriage cases at the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith. He is the author of a short book titled The Dissolution of Marriage Bond in the Discipline of the Church and Its Application.

Pope Francis had appointed him bishop of Asansol in 2023, a small diocese established in 1997 with about 30,000 Catholics and 17 parishes.

Frank’s public statements have already drawn attention. In his November 2023 address at St. Joseph’s Convent Higher Secondary School in Chittaranjan, published on the school’s website, Frank spoke to the students about the three “important celebrations” of All Saints (and All Souls), the Hindu feasts Deepavali and Kali Puja, and the Sikh festival of Guru Nanak Jayanti.

Quoting Vatican interreligious messages, he prayed for Hindu students and their families to be “filled with peace and happiness” and for the Sikhs to grow in “unity and solidarity.”

Focusing on the school as a place of learning, he said:

I wish to draw your attention to one thing that is fundamental to achieve success in life: it is about peace. We must promote peace, not hatred, not division.

To promote peace we must respect others, no matter what their religion is, what their social status is, no matter what their skin tone or complexion is, no matter what they eat at home. Respecting others means considering them as our brothers and sisters in the human family.

Peace is not possible without protecting our mother earth, he concluded.

He then turned to environmental themes, urging students to recycle, conserve water and electricity, and “protect our mother earth.”

Frank’s language reflects broader Vatican priorities in interreligious dialogue and ecology, highlighted by Francis in documents such as Laudato Si’ and Leo XIV’s address to the U.N.’s COP30 climate conference.

Leo XIV and episcopal appointments

While the address was centered on themes of fraternity, peace, and ecological responsibility, it did not contain a single mention of Jesus Christ.

Even though Catholics are a small minority in India, this omission contrasts sharply with the traditional role of a bishop as a teacher of the Catholic faith.

Frank’s promotion marks the latest in a line of concerning episcopal appointments by Leo that represent some of the longest-lasting effects of a pontificate.

One of his first appointments was Bishop Michael Pham to the Diocese of San Diego. In July, Pham’s auxiliary, Bishop Ramón Bejarano, offered an “LGBT Pride Mass” in the diocese with his backing.

In July, Leo appointed Father Thomas Hennen as bishop of Baker, Oregon. Hennen was involved in drafting pastoral guidelines for persons with same-sex attraction that made no mention of the necessity of chastity.

Before the conclave, Leo XIV was the Prefect for the Congregation of Bishops, where – according to The Pillar – he “saw his task as that of identifying men who embodied Pope Francis’ ideals for bishops.”'

"(LifeSiteNews) — On his way to take over the Diocese of Austin, Bishop Daniel E. Garcia has canceled the sole traditional Mass in his now former diocese of Monterey.

Publicized via social media networks and traditional blog Rorate Caeli, Garcia’s letter implementing new liturgical rules was dated September 14. The decree came just five days before the U.S. Papal Nuncio announced Bishop Slawomir Szkredka as the apostolic administrator of the see, after Garcia was named the incoming bishop of the Diocese of Austin on July 2.

Citing Pope Francis’ 2021 Traditionis Custodes restrictions on the traditional Mass, Garcia wrote that “clearly the Church is moving us to greater unity in worship.”

Traditionis Custodes and the subsequent restrictions from Cardinal Arthur Roche prohibited the traditional Mass from being celebrated in parish churches, unless granted direct permission by the Vatican. The sole traditional Mass in the Diocese of Monterey is held at Sacred Heart Parish, which currently has a dispensation from the Vatican that is due to expire this fall.

After deliberating over its future, Garcia had decided to end the Mass and not seek a continuation of the dispensation:

I have come to a decision for the good of the Church of Monterey not to request a dispensation from the Dicastery for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments for the celebration of the pre-conciliar Mass at Sacred Heart Parish church.

In unity with the Holy Father’s motu proprio. I have directed Fr. Stephen Akers to cease celebration of the pre-conciliar Mass in Hollister as of October 13, 2025.

This decision, wrote Garcia, will “strengthen our unity with the Universal Church.”

“I invite you all,” the outgoing bishop added, “to join in unity with the parish of Sacred Heart and St. Benedict, and in cooperation with your pastor, as they gather around the Table of the Lord celebrating the rich Eucharistic Sacrifice, each Sunday, which has been a great fruit of the Council.”

He urged Monterey Catholics to have the Novus Ordo liturgy “charge your hearts with charity and trust, to build the unity Pope Leo spoke about in the Mass he celebrated early in his pontificate in St. Peter’s Square.”

The news has sparked backlash among Catholics and – further afield – in the online sphere, as critics have questioned why Garcia moved to quash the Latin Mass community.

“The cruelty is the point,” wrote theologian and liturgist Dr. Peter Kwasniewski.

Pope Francis famously declared in July 2021 that “the instrumental use of Missale Romanum of 1962 is often characterized by a rejection not only of the liturgical reform, but of the Vatican Council II itself, claiming, with unfounded and unsustainable assertions, that it betrayed the Tradition and the ‘true Church.’”

But vocal proponents of the traditional liturgy, such as Cardinal Raymond Burke, have decried this characterization of Catholics. Shortly after the motu proprio was published in 2021, Burke hailed it as a “severe and revolutionary action of the Holy Father.”

Speaking to this correspondent in an interview for PerMariam, Burke added that the document itself “is problematic from the point of view of canon law and also of the theological reality of the sacred liturgy.”

Some Catholics have expressed hope that Pope Leo will be more open to the old Mass than his predecessor, and though Leo has shown himself to be more attuned to the liturgy than Francis, he has refrained from wading too deeply into the issue so far.

Last week, the text of a July interview was released in which Leo commented that the question and future of the traditional Mass was unclear:

Obviously, between the Tridentine Mass and the Vatican II Mass, the Mass of Paul VI, I’m not sure where that’s going to go. It’s obviously very complicated.

I do know that part of that issue, unfortunately, has become – again, part of a process of polarization – people have used the liturgy as an excuse for advancing other topics. It’s become a political tool, and that’s very unfortunate.

Since then, Leo has met with both Cardinals Burke and Robert Sarah, two members of the College of Cardinals known for their advocacy of the traditional liturgy. The details of their meeting will remain private, but in his July interview Leo expressed hope of meeting with advocates of the traditional Mass to learn more about the topic.

When asked by the Catholic Herald about the future of the traditional rite, the cardinal archpriest of St. Peter’s Basilica – no warm friend of the traditional liturgy – replied: “Better not answer that. I have been told that we will wait for the Holy Father to decide.”

Though Leo has so far given no specific comment on the old rite’s future, it appears that those around him expect some change in the near future."
