Why??? ["]Cardinal["] Cupich Presents Archdiocesan Award To Pro-LGBT Ministry Leader!!

Yes, why not grant an award to Courage International, an organization that actually helps homosexual Catholics to lead a life in line with the teachings of Christ, and His Holy Mother Church?

So now, I'll answer my own question: it is because Cupich is not Catholic, period!

He works not for Christ, but for satan.  He is part of the false church that calls itself Catholic but has absolutely no resemblance to the real Catholic Church of Christ!

We were warned about this false church, and now it's right smack in our faces!

There are far too many wolves in sheep's clothing, leading far too many poor souls to hell by affirming sinners in their sin, and not calling them to repentance, amend their lives and -- to sin no more!  As Our Lord forgave the great sinner, (Saint) Mary Magdalane...  You should know the rest of the story...

Here are the sad facts from lifesitenews.com and written by George Hogan Wed Oct 28, 2026 - 7:39 pm EDT: Cardinal Cupich presents archdiocesan award to pro-LGBT ministry leader - LifeSite

"(LifeSiteNews) — ["]Cardinal["] Blase Cupich of Chicago presented an award to a leader of a pro-LGBT ministry that promotes “radical hospitality” and “synodal listening circles” for LGBTQ+ Catholics without any public mention of the Church’s call to chastity.

According to a recent Facebook post by AGLOChicago (Archdiocesan Gay and Lesbian Outreach), one of the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Christifideles Laici awards was given to Kathie Nash, described as “an AGLOChicago partner ministry leader.”

The post stated that the award “recognizes lay Catholics who live out their baptismal call through extraordinary service to the Body of Christ” and praised Nash for having “poured her heart into One in Love, creating a sanctuary of radical hospitality and pastoral accompaniment for LGBTQ+ Catholics, our families, and our friends.”

“Through her gentle leadership and synodal listening circles, she has helped the community embrace our inherent, God-given dignity as beloved children of God while deepening our shared faith,” the post continued, going on to thank Nash “for your compassionate accompaniment, your Christ-like love, and for always walking beside the LGBTQ+ community in faith.” It then noted that she is “pictured here with Fr. Carl Morello and Cardinal Blaise Cupich.”

AGLOChicago describes itself on its website as “the Archdiocese of Chicago’s official ministry to LGBTQ+ Catholics,” founded in 1988. It states that it is “committed to ensuring that every member of the LGBTQ+ community can experience the richness of Catholic life without having to set aside who they are.”

In the past, AGLO has openly dissented from the Church’s teachings on the sinfulness of homosexuality, promoting the inclusion, diversity, and celebration of LGBT lifestyles, ideology, and events. The group’s materials have promoted Pride Month and the Chicago Pride Parade, including an invitation stating that there was “no better way to conclude the day than giving thanks by celebrating the liturgy” after the parade.

In the past, Cupich has broken with Catholic teaching on gay “marriage” and other issues.

In 2015, during the Synod of the Family, he sought to lay out a pathway for both homosexual and divorced and “remarried” couples to receive the Eucharist in accordance with their “consciences.”

In 2021, he allowed then-Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, an active lesbian, to receive Holy Communion at a funeral Mass he celebrated, and in 2025 he wrote a column for Fr. James Martin’s pro-LGBT Outreach publication in which he promoted “listening” and “dialogue” with “LGBT Catholics.”

The prelate also notably fails to mention that the Church has always taught, in accordance with Sacred Scripture and Tradition, that homosexual activity is intrinsically disordered, gravely sinful, and that persons with homosexual inclinations “are called to chastity.”

Additionally, neither the AGLO Facebook post nor the ministry’s public descriptions of “One in Love” make any reference to this teaching.

In contrast, earlier this year, Pope Leo XIV met with representatives of Courage International, an apostolate that explicitly helps Catholics experiencing same-sex attraction to live chaste lives in accordance with the Gospel.

Courage promotes chastity, prayer, fellowship, and support and “does not affirm laity in sexual sin.” It’s five goals are as follows:

  1. To live chaste lives in accordance with the Roman Catholic Church’s teaching on homosexuality. (Chastity)
  2. To dedicate our entire lives to Christ through service to others, spiritual reading, prayer, meditation, individual spiritual direction, frequent attendance at Mass, and the frequent reception of the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist. (Prayer and Dedication)
  3. To foster a spirit of fellowship, in which we may share with one another our thoughts and experiences, and so ensure that no one will have to face the problems of homosexuality alone. (Fellowship)
  4. To be mindful of the truth that chaste friendships are not only possible but necessary in a chaste Christian life; and to encourage one another in forming and sustaining these friendships. (Support)
  5. To live lives that may serve as good examples to others. (Good Example/Role Model)

Further information including brochures, video testimonies, conference presentations, information on Church teaching, and much more can be found at the organization’s website."

End of very revealing and disturbing article...
