This Is Truly A Heartbreaking Story...

 WARNING!  WARNING!  WARNING!

The following article is very hard to take and more proof that the majority of mankind will be damned!

I ask upfront that you pray an Ave for the two sweethearts killed by a drunk, illegal alien felon and the evil and wicked policies being pursued by corrupt, anti-life, demonrat lunatics in the state of Wisconsin.

Sheriff Defends Sanctuary Policy After Illegal is Accused of Killing High School Sweethearts

Wisconsin Sheriff Defends Sanctuary Policy After Illegal Alien Is Accused of Killing High School Sweethearts

"Dane County, Wisconsin, Sheriff Kalvin Barrett is defending the county’s sanctuary policy that shields illegal aliens from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) just days after high school sweethearts 18-year-old Hallie Helgeson and 19-year-old Brady Heiling were killed in a crash allegedly caused by an illegal alien with a criminal record.

As Breitbart News reported, on July 20, illegal alien Noelia A. Martinez of Honduras, 30 years old, was allegedly drunk driving in Dane County when she crashed into Hallie and Brady.

Hallie was killed immediately and pronounced dead at the scene, while Brady was left in critical condition, airlifted to a nearby hospital, and died from his injuries on July 25. Hallie and Brady were high school sweethearts and had recently attended senior prom together.

Hallie Helgeson (Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home)

Brady Heiling (Wing-Bain Funeral Home)

Martinez, as Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials have since noted, should never have been in the United States and was able to hide from federal immigration enforcement partly due to Dane County’s sanctuary policy, which refuses to honor ICE detainers. These detainers are requests for custody whenever an illegal alien is released from local custody.

“Hallie Helgeson and Brady Heiling had their whole lives ahead of them — and they would still be alive today if it weren’t for Noelia Saray Martinez-Avila — a criminal illegal alien from Honduras,” DHS’s Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement.

McLaughlin continued:

Martinez-Avila recklessly drove the wrong way on a highway while intoxicated and killed these two teens. ICE has lodged an arrest detainer to remove this public safety threat from the U.S. Unfortunately, this sanctuary jurisdiction has a history of not honoring ICE arrest detainers often leading to the release of murderers and other heinous criminals. Under Secretary Noem, these precious victims will not be forgotten, and we will fight for justice. [Emphasis added]

Barrett, who told local media in February that he would not honor ICE detainers, is continuing to defend Dane County’s sanctuary policy even after Hallie’s and Brady’s deaths, according to a report from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

After her arrest, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement asked the Dane County Jail to hold her if she were to post bond so that ICE officers could take her into custody, making her vulnerable to deportation before her case concludes. Martinez-Avila is an undocumented immigrant from Honduras, according to the department. [Emphasis added]

Barrett said it is the Department of Homeland Security’s responsibility to obtain an arrest warrant signed by a judge, which would ensure that the department can lawfully take custody of Martinez-Avila. Detainers are not legally binding. [Emphasis added]

Barrett’s insistence on ICE securing an arrest warrant for Martinez is a tactic used by many sanctuary sheriffs.

ICE, under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), is not required to obtain criminal warrants from judges for suspected illegal aliens. Instead, ICE agents obtain administrative warrants that are signed off on by federal officials.

Sanctuary counties like Dane County often deploy the tactic anyway, claiming that they are not obstructing ICE agents from enforcing federal immigration law, but merely asking them to get a criminal warrant on an illegal alien, knowing such warrants are not required by federal law.

Martinez remains in Dane County custody, facing two counts of vehicular homicide. Her next hearing in the case is scheduled for September 22."

The Tyranny Of Nice: How We Traded Virtue For Vibes

From The Tyranny of Nice: How We Traded Virtue for Vibes - LewRockwell and written by Brian D. O’Leary

The O'Leary Review July 29, 2025

"America wasn't built on self-esteem. It was built on self-respect—and the courage to speak hard truths."

"People are drowning in the shallow waters of self-esteem. For decades, the high priests of pop psychology and the wardens of politics have peddled a dangerous gospel: that feeling good about oneself is the highest good.

This therapeutic tyranny, whispered from leather couches, insists that self-worth is a prize to be given, not an honor to be earned.

Has the public been sold a bill of goods? Our elites swap the cheap sugar of affirmation for the red meat of character. This isn’t a mere misstep but poison that is corrupting the national soul.

The architects of this grand deception deliberately confuse two distinct concepts: self-esteem and self-image. Self-esteem is a fleeting emotional vapor. Self-image is a clear-eyed reckoning of what you are and what you can become.

The pioneers who carved a nation from wilderness weren’t burdened by chasing warm fuzzies. They stood firm on an honest self-image, aware of both strengths and faults.

Achievement springs not from narcissism but from relentless self-critique. The humble man, conscious of his flaws, builds empires. The peacock, strutting on inflated pride, accomplishes nothing.

This obsession with internal validation spawns a rotten public counterpart: the cult of nice. In the parlors of power and Ivy League lounges, a new commandment reigns: Thou Shalt Be Nice. But—as this writer’s First Law decrees— “Nice is not a virtue.”

Nice is cowardice masquerading as courtesy, silencing plain truths for fear of offense.

This pathology can be seen in some of the forward-facing “celebrities” within the Church hierarchy. In the case of wolves in sheep’s clothing like James Martin, S.J., pastoral agreeableness trumps doctrinal truth and, in doing so, it sacrifices centuries of wisdom on the altar of accommodation.

Another favorite pastime of Martin’s is to weaponize the term “inclusion” to silence dissent, while hurling the bizarre tag of “othering” at faithful Americans, casting them as outsiders in their own land.

Forgotten Americans, however, are aware of the difference. They demand truth over therapy and justice over tolerance. This isn’t a debate over manners but a battle for civilization’s moral foundations.

The classical virtues are not “nice.” They are demanding. Saint John the Baptist did not offer Herod a lifestyle dialogue when he delivered the righteous rebuke that cost him his head.

Charity lives in truth’s strong embrace, not relativism’s flimsy hug. While it isn’t kind to let a man wander in darkness, it is an act of love to show him the harsh light of reality. Our culture’s revival must begin by shattering the mirror of self-esteem and embracing the stark reflection of an accurate self-image.

This is our fight—and it’s not merely against bureaucrats or globalists this time around. The battle is against a weakness within.

The choice? It’s between the fleeting comfort of “nice” and the enduring strength of virtue.

The truth, as a wise man once said, is like a lion. We need not defend it. It needs only to be unleashed.

July 27, 2025, The 7th Sunday After Pentecost: The Gospel Of St. Matthew 7:15-21... By Their Fruits You Will Know Them!

This is one of the most iconic of the Gospels, at least in my view...

Our Lord is warning us to beware of ravenous wolves in sheep's clothing, attacking and scattering His flock...

...Further in the Gospel, He says that not everyone that says to Me: Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father who is in heaven, he shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.

These short but telling verses as recorded by St. Matthew, show us to be on guard for our very souls.  It is also telling us that the flock is literally surrounded by evil and wicked characters pretending to be our shepherds.

Of course, not all the shepherds are evil and wicked -- but many are, and their words and actions -- or inactions -- prove the point!

Our priest gave a homily on today's Gospel giving another perspective making one think "outside the box," if you will.

And what was his perspective?

He said the by the "them" -- mentioned not once, but twice -- can also refer to our "them": our words, our actions (our deeds) or lack thereof.

Are our words charitable; are they for the betterment of ourselves, family and our neighbors?

Or are our words caustic and biting, in other words, uncharitable, or worse?

But I have a question: when proclaiming the truth in a sea of lies, errors, heresies, scandal and confusion emanating from our supposed shepherds, does that put our words in the same category as "evil fruit"?

I admit that it may seem so, but if you look at the words and actions of those who hate Tradition -- and the faithful who stand by and for the one, holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church founded by Our Lord on the rock of St. Peter -- it can readily be seen that we are in a war for our very souls and the souls of our family, friends and neighbors with the powers and principalities of the Ape of the Church, Satan and his damned minions...

If anyone who reads my posts and comments, and thinks that I'm harvesting evil fruit, instead of the good fruit, due to my words and opinions, then please, by all means let me know.

You can leave a commit, I'll respond.  I may not like what you say, but I will respond..

In the meantime, pray for strength and honor!

Gaza Children: “At Least Heaven Has Food“

 WARNING!  WARNING!  WARNING!!

THE FOLLOWING ARTILCE HAS VERY DISTURBING INFORMATION -- BEWARE!

Gaza Children: 'At Least Heaven Has Food' - LewRockwell

"Jesus loves the little children

All the children of the world
Red and yellow, black and white
They are precious in his sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world

Lyrics from Jesus Loves The Little Children by Woolston and Root.

This famous children’s song written in the late 1800s and first published in 1913, does not say that Jesus loves all the children except for those living in Gaza. It says all children, even the little ones of Gaza, are precious to Jesus.

Thus, it is awfully hard to believe, and especially to understand, why so many good Christians could condone, much less even support, the killing and starvation of thousands of little children by Israel in Gaza.

On July 23, the Doctors Without Borders published a statement which said “ as the Israeli‘s governments’ siege starves the people of Gaza…. Just outside Gaza, in warehouses – and even within Gaza itself – tons of food, clean water, medical supplies, shelter items and fuel sit untouched with humanitarian organizations blocked from accessing or delivering it.”

The statement added: “the government of Israel’s restrictions, delays and fragmentation under its total siege have created chaos, starvation, and death. An aid worker…. spoke of the devastating impact on children: children tell their parents they want to go to heaven, because at least heaven has food.“

Sen. Ted Cruz said on Tucker Carlson‘s podcast that he supported what Israel is doing because the Bible says to bless Israel. When Carlson asked him where it says that in the Bible, Cruz became very flustered and obviously didn’t know where it was. Many Christians also mistakenly believe as Cruz said he did.

However, the Bible instructs people to bless Israel; It does not say people should bless Israel’s government or agree with everything it does. Hundreds of thousands of Jews, possibly a few million, around the world do not support what the Israeli government is doing in Gaza.

There is much more to the United States than our federal government. People can easily love this country, but oppose and even criticize what our government sometimes does.

It is ridiculous for Americans to believe that they can criticize our own government, but they cannot criticize the government of Israel and even the slightest way.

In the same way, there is much more to Israel than its government. People can bless and even love Israel without agreeing with its slaughter of the Palestinian people.

Meanwhile, the evil Netanyahu‘s killing and starving of the people in Gaza goes on and on. Unfortunately, the newest Republican in the US house, Rep. Randy Fine of Florida, on July 22 wrote on his official Congress account, that the Palestinians in Gaza should “starve away.”

On that same day, the United Nations put out a statement which said “as of July 21, we have recorded 1,054 people killed in Gaza while trying to get food….288 near UN and other humanitarian organizations’ aid convoys”

It’s statement was accompanied by a photo of mourners carrying the shrouded body of a 14-year-old boy who had died of starvation.

On July 20, the Gaza Health Ministry  said 124 people were killed in the 24 hour period that had just passed.

Glenn Greenwald, the conservative journalist, wrote on X on July 22: “people collapsing in the street with organ failure and dying in Gaza due to extreme malnutrition because Israel blocks world organizations from delivering food into Gaza.“ He added that Israel “routinely massacres Gazans in line for tiny rations.“

Another song that is probably one of the first that children learn is “Jesus loves me“ it’s well – known lyrics say:

Jesus loves me, this I know
For the Bible tells me so
Little ones to him belong
They are weak, but he is strong

It is long past the time when Christians who claim to be followers of Jesus should have been speaking out against Israel’s killing and starvation of children in Gaza. But it is better late than never."

This is a "hard-hitting" article that pulls no punches!

Will Mr. Sammons be attacked by some bishop for posting this story?

Time will tell...

But the truth shall set us free!!

I will say that in the article Mr. Sammons points out that Weisenburger was one of Pope Francis’s final episcopal appointments, and not Leo.  If this is correct, I stand corrected... As I indicated in my article (see here: Make-Believe Archbishop Edward Weisenburger Fires Ralph Martin And Eduardo Echeverria!!!)

that Leo appointed this character...

Now from the article...

Make-Believe Archbishop Edward Weisenburger Fires Ralph Martin And Eduardo Echeverria!!!

Remember, it was Weisenburger, recently appointed by Leo, who immediately cancelled almost all of the traditional Latin Masses in the archdiocese!

Now, this same "archbishop" has fired Ralph Martin and Eduardo Echeverria, from their positions at Sacred Heart Major Seminary on July 23!!

But why???

Because the two prominent theologians critiqued what they saw as doctrinal ambiguity under the late Pope Francis.

That's why...

I repeat, Leo just appointed Weisenburger!

Didn't Leo know his plan to stomp out the existence of the TLM?

Of course he did...

By the way, Martin is by no means a "rad trad," quite the opposite, in fact!!

Now here's the diabolical story as reported by the ncregister.com and written by Shake-Up in Detroit: New Archbishop Fires Ralph Martin and Eduardo Echeverria| National Catholic Register

"Two prominent theologians who critiqued what they saw as doctrinal ambiguity under the late Pope Francis have been fired from their longtime posts at the Archdiocese of Detroit’s major seminary by the local archbishop, the Register has confirmed.

Archbishop Edward Weisenburger removed Ralph Martin and Eduardo Echeverria from their positions at Sacred Heart Major Seminary on July 23, both theologians told the Register separately.

In a statement to Renewal, the Catholic charismatic apostolate founded and led by Martin, the theologian described his sudden termination as “a shock,” noting his 23 years of contributions to the seminary. He wrote that when he asked Archbishop Weisenburger for an explanation, the Detroit ordinary “said he didn’t think it would be helpful to give any specifics but mentioned something about having concerns about my theological perspectives.”

Martin added that he was sharing these details because his colleagues and friends were owed an explanation, adding that he wanted to be truthful, but that he did not “want to unnecessarily contribute to current polarization in the Church.”

Echeverria told the Register no reason had been provided to him for his termination and that he could not say more due to signing a non-disclosure agreement.

When contacted for more information, Sacred Heart referred the Register to the Archdiocese of Detroit. Holly Fournier, associate director of communications, said, “The Archdiocese of Detroit does not comment on archdiocesan or seminary personnel matters.”

The firing of the theologians, which is already generating outcry online, is the latest controversial move by Archbishop Weisenburger since his March 18 installation as ordinary of the Motor City, following his appointment by Pope Francis. In June, the archbishop barred 13 parish churches from celebrating the traditional Latin Mass, while also banning the ad orientem posture from Novus Ordo liturgies in the archdiocese.

Both Martin and Echeverria are widely published and respected theologians who had served at Sacred Heart for decades.

Martin, 82, a leading figure in the Catholic charismatic renewal, began teaching at the Detroit seminary in 2002. Most recently, he served as the director of graduate programs in the New Evangelization, a topic that he has written on extensively. The host of the EWTN program “The Choices We Face,” Martin was appointed as a consultor to the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization by Pope Benedict in 2011, and served as an “expert” at the 2012 synod dedicated to the topic.

Echeverria, 74, who joined the faculty of Sacred Heart in 2003, taught philosophy and systematic theology. A proponent of ecumenical dialogue with evangelical Christians, he has been an active contributor to websites like The Catholic Thing and Catholic World Report.

Both had also raised measured concerns that Pope Francis was fostering doctrinal ambiguity through his words and actions.

Martin frequently cited what he regarded as a lack of clarity in Pope Francis’ teaching, and wrote in his 2021 book A Church in Crisis that the then-pope was “reluctant to dispel” ambiguity, which was “almost a hallmark” of Francis’ approach. Following Pope Francis’ Jan. 14, 2024, statement that he liked “to think of hell as empty,” Martin penned a commentary in the Register arguing that the pope’s comments were “extremely damaging,” and played into “a widespread sympathy” toward universalism, the heretical belief that all are saved.

Echeverria expressed similar concerns. In 2019, he substantially revised his 2015 book entitled Pope Francis: The Legacy of Vatican II, writing that “I have now come to accept that Francis has contributed to the current crisis in the Church — doctrinal, moral, and ecclesial, due to the lack of clarity, ambiguity of his words and actions, one-sidedness in formulating issues, and a tendency for demeaning Christian doctrine and moral law.”

And in a June 7 The Catholic Thing article, he wrote that Pope Leo XIV “must dispel” confusion in Francis’ teaching on marriage and sexuality “by reclaiming the doctrines on sexual ethics of the Church.”

News of Martin and Echeverria’s dismissal has generated controversy on social media. Eric Sammons, the editor of the traditionalist Catholic magazine Crisis, described Archbishop Weisenburger’s move as “an act of a thin-skinned, petty tyrant.”

“It’s not about advancing the Gospel; it’s about power and control,” he said in an X post."'

End of very disturbing article...
