I wish to Heaven that I didn't have to post this, but to remain silent is to be complicit, and that I'll never be!!
The so-called priest, James Martin, you know, the formal heretic and pro-pervert pushing those sins that cry to Heaven for vengeance, has posted on his website, a new "confiteor" for body mutilators and homosexuals!!
Frist, I'll post this article from lifesitenews.com and written by Antonino Cambria Tue Oct 27, 2026 - 12:04 pm EDT: James Martin's 'ministry' posts 'LGBTQ confiteor' calling on 'queer saints' - LifeSite, then, I'll post the actual "confiteor" that is on his heterodox "outreach" site...
and to you, my siblings,
That I have fallen short
in my prejudiced thoughts and my biased judgements
in my careless words and my degrading self-talk
in what I have done to cooperate with injustice
and in what I have failed to do to resist it;
Through my fear, through my complacency, through my worst errors.
Therefore I ask all my spiritual ancestors, queer saints,
and you, the human family,
to pray with me,
that together we might build a better tomorrow.
Amen.
"(LifeSiteNews) — An essay published on ["]Father["] James Martin’s heterodox Outreach site includes an “LGBTQ Confiteor” that blasphemously invokes “queer saints.”
In her October 25 essay for Outreach entitled “An LGBTQ Catholic guide to the Mass: Praying the Confiteor,” Ariell Watson Simon, a woman who is “married” to another woman, discusses her experiences praying the Confiteor at Mass and claims that the faithful overly focus on sexual sin.
At the end of her essay, Simon gives an adaptation of the Confiteor specifically written for so-called “LGBTQ Catholics,” which asks all the “queer saints” and “my spiritual ancestors” to pray with them.
“The next time you recite the Confiteor in Mass, say it like you mean it. Listen to your neighbors as they confess to you and ask for your prayers. Hear it as a call for mutual aid in the project of healing and growth. I offer this adaptation of the familiar words, as a Confiteor for LGBTQ Catholics,” Watson wrote.
Watson’s sacrilegious essay notably omitted any mention of the Catholic Church’s perennial teaching on homosexuality.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered” and “contrary to the natural law” and that the homosexual inclination is “objectively disordered.” The Catechism is very clear that homosexual activity can never be approved and repeats that “(h)omosexual persons are called to chastity.” Homosexual acts are mortal sins; therefore, anyone who commits these sins and does not repent through the sacrament of Confession is in danger of hell.
Martin’s Outreach group has repeatedly contradicted the Church’s clear teaching on homosexuality over the years. Back in June, during the keynote address for the 2026 Outreach Conference, Father James Keenan, S.J., blasphemously cited the so-called “queer theologian” Flora Tang to suggest that saints are “often” homosexual.
“Flora Tang makes clear in ‘What Queer Theory Taught Me About the Saints’ that the saints are often themselves instructive as queer saints,” Keenan said during his address. “Yet she prompts us ‘to go beyond clinging onto narratives of queer certitude and move toward an openness to fragmented narratives that do not tidy up voices of mourning and unfulfilled hopes for a queer and decolonized church.’”
Tang’s 2022 article for Political Theology Network blasphemously insinuates that several saints were homosexuals, including Sts. Sergius and Bacchus, fourth-century Roman soldiers who were martyred together for refusing to offer sacrifice to the Roman gods, and Sts. Perpetua and Felicity, third-century companion martyrs, each of whom had children.
These allegations appear to stem from the sexualization of stories involving several great saints who had completely platonic Christian friendships.
Keenan, like his fellow Jesuit James Martin, the founder of Outreach, has a long history of explicitly contradicting the Church’s teaching on homosexual “marriage.”
Keenan has worked as a theology professor for nearly 40 years at multiple nominally Catholic universities.

Most notably, back in 2003, Keenan testified against H.3190, a proposed constitutional amendment in Massachusetts that would have defined marriage as a stable union between a man and a woman, on the erroneous grounds that it was “contrary to Catholic teaching on social justice.”
