If you let the censors get away with banning the Alex Jones show, then you will be next.  So much for "freedom of speech."

Must read!!! Here it comes!!!

Okay, here's the scoop... this might be my last post on Facebook!

Why?

Because I am officially calling out the corporate, leftist shills at Facebook; Google; Apple, and YouTube for censoring the most important news source on earth: INFOWARS!

Today, Infowars has been terminated/banned on Facebook, Google, Apple, and YouTube.  You read it right.  So much for their phony mantra of "free speech."

These liars, par excellence, are the real HATERS!   The real enemies of free speech.  Make no mistake, "you" are next!

Let's see how long it takes before I am banned.

Let me say one more thing, just like a boomerang, what goes around, comes around...

Eugene R. DeLalla.

Hate speech?

Is it "hate speech," or is it that I hate what you are saying?

If I disagree with what you say, or what you believe, is that hateful?

No.

It's just that you hate what I say, or what I believe if it's different from what you say or believe!

There is a major difference between the two: 1) hate speech, or, 2) I hate what you say, or believe.

Usually, it's the hard-left liberal media or organizations that classify what those who differ with them, whether in their ideology, or a stance on a particular issue, as "hate speech" or "hurtful" -- whatever that means.

This is chilling.

The freedom of speech, is just that: freedom of speech!  Whether good or bad, it is our right as guaranteed by the Constitution.

As a Catholic, I realize that there are limits to "free speech" in the moral sense, but nonetheless, it is there in the First Amendment.  Also in the First Amendment, is the free exercise of religion, and I guarantee it is the EXERCISE of religion today that is considered "hate speech," or worse, especially the Catholic religion, constantly under attack by the secular humanists in an attempt to bring Her down, and create a society devoid of God Almighty.

We are very close to achieving that diabolical end, not only here in the U.S., but also in other Western nations as well.

Hate speech, or hate of free speech?

Pray for discernment, and pray for our country.

Let your conscience be your guide?

Where have I heard that before?

Shouldn't we listen to our conscience to let us know what is right or wrong, and to act according to what our conscience is telling us to do?

Sure, if -- and it's a big IF -- the conscience is well-formed.  But what does that mean, well-formed?

For Catholics, it means that a well-formed conscience adheres to what the Church teaches, period.  If we don't, then how can we call ourselves Catholics?

If our conscience is telling us to do something that is contrary to Church teachings, then it is not well-formed.  If it seems that I'm repeating myself here, I am.  There is a reason for that, and it's a pretty simple one.

The conscience can damn us!

But what if one acts in "good conscience," how can that damn someone?

There is an old saying: "ignorance is no excuse."

In civil law, if someone commits a crime because they were ignorant of a law, and convicted, they are still guilty, even though they were ignorant of the law they violated.  How much more will they be held accountable for ignorance of divine law?

For non-Catholics, the same applies, but it's even more difficult for those folks because they lack the fullness of the truth.  So their conscience can "trick" them into believing that as long as they follow the Bible and have Christ as their "personal savior," than all is well, and they can act accordingly.

They are only half-right.  And half-right doesn't cut it.

Getting back to Catholics...

There has been some discussion lately on Facebook regarding those who have abandoned the Catholic Faith in favor of what their conscience has told them what is right, or what is a better way to live their lives, unencumbered by what the Church requires of us in order to remain in a state of grace.  A state that  we must be in when we leave this earth, if we expect to be members of the Elect, the Church Triumphant.

This is a self-deception.  But it is also a major scandal to any children that may be in the household, child or adult.  It is so necessary to know that all of us will be held accountable if we scandalize those in our charge.  Our Lord specifically stated to the Apostles to "suffer the little ones to come unto Me..."  Don't prevent them, and don't scandalize them.

I'm afraid that it is Pride that hinders those fallen-away Catholics from reassessing their position and returning to the Fold.  Pride comes before the fall...

But there is always hope!

Pray for discernment, and pray for our country.

Humility and Pride.

Humility and Pride.

Humility.  Being humble does not necessarily equal holiness, but is the first step in attaining holiness.

Pride.  Is a major step in the opposite direction of holiness.  It is, in fact, one of the deadly sins.

Remember in the Gospel: two men enter the Temple; one, a Pharisee, spouts his tithes, prayers, and thanks God he is not like the other man, a Publican (tax collector and sinner).  The Publican doesn't even dare raise up his eyes to look at the altar, the center of worship in the Temple, but stays afar off in the back, and strikes his breast saying: be merciful to me a sinner!

It is clear, or it should be, who went home justified.  In fact, we are told this by Christ: the Publican!

So, it is easy to see how being humble -- submitting oneself to authority, and the ultimate Authority, God, can open up the soul to the graces needed to get through this life and its trials and tribulations, and reach our final, eternal destination.

Now we can take a look at Pride; some good and some bad aspects of same.

In the good sense, one can say: I take pride in my work.  Or, I am proud of the accomplishments of my son or daughter; I am proud of my wife, she is absolutely the heart of our family.  Or, I am proud of my country (not necessarily of the government!).  I am proud of my military service, etc.

But Pride can also separate us from God.

How does this happen?

Simply, by not submitting ourselves to His authority, or rebelling against all that has been revealed through His Church; through the Magisterium (the teaching arm of the Church).

One does not have to be a Catholic to recognize the dangers of Pride.  On a natural level, we can see how it can cause major problems in our lives by over-emphasizing our self-worth over others; our neighbors.

Pride: I will not serve (Him)!
Humility: I want to know, love, and serve (Him)!

Pray for discernment to recognize both, and the common sense to choose what is right.
