And this: "When Long insisted that many Catholics would have liked to attend that Mass of Reparation in light of the great scandal of the funeral service, Dolan told her that Fr. Dougherty “is a hero” because “he stopped the (funeral) Mass.” And when Long objected that she herself had watched the entire service and that it was not stopped, Dolan said, “Then it went on without him,” and the cardinal turned around and walked away."

Never forget, it was Dolan who wore the "rainbow sash" at the St. Patrick's Day Parade!  

"At certain points during the service, Fr. Dougherty could be heard laughing at the pranks of the audience. On the high altar of St. Patrick’s, transgenders were hugging and kissing during the remembrance speeches. One friend proclaimed Gentili as “this whore, this great whore” and “Saint Cecilia” to a huge outburst of applause. The crowd and organizers of the funeral event turned it into a political rally complete with cheers, catcalls, and intentions for “gender-affirming health care.” This blasphemous chant filled the entire cathedral as Gentili’s coffin was carried down the aisle, accompanied by Fr. Dougherty, who had stated at the end: “Let us take leave of our sister Cecilia.” He added, “One day we shall joyfully greet her again.”

The blasphemous reference to the true St. Cecilia, who gave her life as a Virgin-Martyr after refusing to renounce the Catholic faith, was cheered by hundreds of LGBT activists: 

Dressing without any respect for God's House, Gentili's friends placed a picture of her with a halo and the Spanish words for “transvestite,” “whore,” “blessed,” and “mother” near the altar where the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered.

Leading the funeral service, Fr. Edward Dougherty was also cheered when he made light of the attire on display, saying: “Except on Easter Sunday, we don’t really have a crowd that is this well turned out.” The priest is then overheard being reminded by an assistant that he is not to offer Mass.

Gentili was 52 when he died of unknown causes at home, the Daily Mail reported Friday, noting that about 1,000 friends and fans of Gentili filled the church pews during the service.

The outlet described the scene:

A picture near the altar showed a haloed Ms. Gentili surrounded by the Spanish words for ‘transvestite,’ ‘whore,’ ‘blessed’ and ‘mother’ above the text of Psalm 25.

A mourner upstaged the priest at one point by singing ‘Ave Maria’ – but changing the lyrics to ‘Ave Cecilia’ before dancing through the aisles.

Even though Gentili said he was an atheist, funeral organizer Ceyenne Doroshow planned for the service to be held at the large church.

According to Time, organizers believe Gentili is the first transgender woman to have a funeral inside the iconic cathedral.

Gentili was originally from Argentina and later came to America as an illegal immigrant, CBS New York reported Thursday, adding that he was homeless and forced into prostitution for a time.

A neighbor reportedly sexually abused Gentili when he was a child in Argentina. He later came out as gay when he was 12 years old.

Police arrested Gentili in 2009 regarding drug possession charges. Officials held him at Rikers but later freed Gentili, who was wearing an ankle bracelet, once authorities determined “she could not live safely with men or women,” the Mail report said, noting Gentili became a U.S. citizen in 2022.

“Cecilia is an atheist, but God won’t give up on her. Unfortunately, neither will the Devil,” a video advertising Gentili’s off-Broadway show called Red Ink stated...

Why Are These Protestant Pastors Denying Christ's Words In St. John Chapter Six??

 Isn't the Bible the sole rule of faith for Protestants, am I wrong in this?

If it is, then why would a Protestant -- a Protestant paster, no less -- lead his flock, his congregation, away from Christ, instead of toward Him by denying or contradicting Christ's own words as recorded in St. John, Chapter Six, regarding the Eucharist and transubstantiation -- the Real Presence??

In the following short video (less than eight minutes) you will hear two Protestant pastors who actually try to explain away what our dear Lord is telling His disciples about the absolute need to consume Him in the Eucharist.

Frankly, I'm not a fan of Bishop Barron, but in this video and his explanation, he is spot on...

Briefly, here are the verses that seem to confound the pastors and their reluctance to accept and believe what the Bible is reporting:

51: I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

53: Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

54: Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

55: For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

56: He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

57: As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

60: Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

64: But there are some of you that believe not.  For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

66: From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

By the way, St. Paul corroborates transubstantiation in 1 Corinthians, Chapter 11!  He also warns those who intend to receive the Eucharist that they must be worthy, or else they are guilty of the body and blood of Christ!   He would never give such a warning if the Bread of Life was only, well, bread!   I find it interesting that these Protestant pastors -- and most Protestants? -- don't mention this passage from St. Paul...

There can only be a couple of explanations for the rejecting of the Blessed Eucharist and Transubstantiation... One, it would make them "uncomfortable," knowing the Truth; two, they would have to change and inform their congregation they have to become Catholic and receive the Eucharist in order to have life in them; three, bad will, perhaps?  I can only guess...

Remember, our dear Lord did not call those disciples back!  In effect, He left them to their own devices.  We don't know if any of those who walked away, eventually did come back and accept the teachings of Christ, their Lord and Savior, only God knows...

In charity, I ask any non-Catholic reading this missive: are you too walking away from Christ in the Blessed Eucharist??

One more thing, all the verses I quoted are from the King James Version, not the Catholic Bible!

Lent -- And PERSECUTION!

  Well, maybe we deserve to be persecuted!

I think that the ongoing persecution by the corrupt federal government on the God-fearing, and the corrupt dictates from Rome will, hopefully, separate the sheep from the goats.

In other words, who will have the spiritual guts to disobey illicit, un-lawful, anti-Christ mandates whether they come from the secular "authorities," or from those who wear the Roman collar -- especially those who claim to be bishops, cardinals or popes?

AUSTIN, Texas (LifeSiteNews) — The bishop of the Diocese of Austin in Texas has affirmed in an official statement that the Vatican directed the forthcoming suppression of the Traditional Latin Mass in Austin’s diocesan cathedral.

In a letter to the parishioners of St. Mary Cathedral obtained by LifeSiteNews, Bishop Joe S. Vásquez noted that he had “granted a dispensation” for the cathedral to continue Masses according to the Missal of 1962 when Pope Francis’ Latin Mass-restricting motu proprio Traditionis Custodes was issued. Meanwhile, he “discerned the best way to implement [its] guidance.”

“As required by the rescript of the Holy Father issued in February of last year, I submitted the case of the celebrations according to the 1962 missal at the Cathedral parish to the Vatican Dicastery for Divine Worship to receive the guidance and direction of the Holy See,” wrote Vásquez.

“Following the guidance of the Holy See, the dispensation for celebrations according to the 1962 missal at the Cathedral will come to an end on March 19, the feast of St. Joseph,” the bishop announced. 

He explained that he had instructed the cathedral clergy to offer Novus Ordo Masses at 7:30 am and 3:30 pm on Sunday, said ad orientem and in Latin. He added that the Masses will be accompanied by “the Church’s beautiful treasury of Gregorian chant and sacred music.”

The Vatican’s reported instruction to cease the Traditional Latin Mass at St. Mary Cathedral enforces Traditionis Custodes, which instructs bishops not to have Latin Masses in “parochial churches.”

“This has been a tremendously painful blow,” the St. Joseph Latin Mass Society, responsible for providing for the TLM at St. Mary Cathedral, told LifeSiteNews in a statement, noting that the TLM has been held at the cathedral since 2007.

“The Latin Mass community at the cathedral succeeded in integrating with the wider cathedral parish. We provided a great counterexample to the ‘standoffish Trad’ stereotype. This effort makes the action even more painful; we lose not only the liturgy we love, but our parish family. Cruelty was not the intention, but cruelty is the effect,” stated the Society.

Theologian and liturgist Dr. Peter Kwasniewski slammed the decision in a statement, declaring, “The Catholic Church cannot abolish her most venerable rites without contradicting herself, betraying her solemn obligations, and incurring the wrath of God.”

Dr. Kwasniewski has argued that obedience to God requires that Catholics disobey Traditionis Custodes, since the motu proprio harms the Church’s common good.

He noted in a speech at the 2021 Catholic Identity Conference that “the traditional liturgical worship of the Church, her lex orandi, (‘law of prayer’)” is a “fundamental” “expression of her lex credendi, (‘law of belief’), one that cannot be contradicted or abolished or heavily rewritten without rejecting the Spirit-led continuity of the Catholic Church as a whole.”

“Since the liturgy truly is the ‘font and apex of the Christian life,’ the home of divine revelation and the primary agent of our transformation in Christ, it follows that to abolish or prohibit or in any way work against the venerable Roman Rite that was humbly received … and lavishly praised for century after century of uninterrupted growth is the most notorious and damaging attack on the common good possible or imaginable,” Kwasniewski argued.

“If this is not the kind of good the Church’s authority exists to protect, one may well ask what goods would qualify?” Kwasniewski continued.

Kwasniewski concluded that in the case of Traditionis Custodes – when an authority commands something contrary to God’s divine or natural law – “We must obey God rather than men,” as is declared in the Acts of the Apostles and affirmed by Pope Leo XIII.

The indult Latin Masses that will continue to be offered in the Diocese of Austin are a 1:30 p.m. Mass at the St. Dymphna Center of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Dripping Springs, 25 miles from Austin; a 4 p.m. Mass in Brenham, 90 miles from Austin; and an 11:30 a.m. Mass in Waco, 100 miles from Austin."

Attacks From Apostate Rome On The Traditional Latin Mass Continue, And It's Going To Get MUCH Worse!

  This is not the end of the attacks and cancellations of the TLM here in the U.S. and abroad...

I have only one thing to say about these demonic directives emanating from the anti-Christ cabal occupying the highest offices in the Vatican, and, as President Truman once quipped: the buck stops here at my desk!  In other words, the hate of the TLM comes from the Bishop of Rome, Bergoglio (also known as Pope Francis).  

Absolutely despicable, but true!

But why is he directing his henchmen to dismantle the TLM of the ages?  The question is almost too easy to answer, he is not Catholic and is part of the globalist attempt to wipe out billions of human beings and establish a "planet friendly" population practicing a one-world "religion" based on man, not God!

Too harsh?  Not really.  Pope Francis recently sent greetings and encouragement to the demons at Davos!  (If you are not sure what Davos is or represents, do a simple search, you might be shocked!)

If this is true, and it is, then what elites will be left to rule over the rest of those Catholics faithful to Christ and His holy Church?

Further, can it be that those very same, hard left elites think that all of them will be spared the coming destruction of mankind -- by their own hands?  

Some of those barbarians will be the first to go in their diabolical plan, but they just can't figure that out.
