How come this guy hasn't sent in the National Guard to patrol the streets, since the cops seem unable -- or unwilling? -- do bring this horrific mess under control?

And these cities and states have the strictest of all gun control laws on the books, which, by the way, does nothing to stop the outlaws from getting the weapons they want, but only makes it more difficult for the law abiding to be armed to protect themselves and their families...
There are many reasons why this tragedy continues unabated, but suffice to say that one of the most apparent reasons is the weakened, effeminate clergy unwilling to put their lives on the line for the flock, instead they suck up enormous amounts of monies from the corrupt political party in power, keeping their respective mouths shut even in the face of dark, sinister forces roaming the streets, shooting and killing at will...
