The coup d' etat continues...

Not a shot was fired by "our" side, as we celebrated The Fourth, but it was not violence free.  Look at the confrontation that occurred in Portland, Oregon, the hard left radicals attacked a peaceful, permit-granted march of those supporters of President Trump, and that includes all freedom loving Americans.  The police, however, stood down (why?) when the anarchists broke through the group of good guys.  There was some great punches thrown by a husky pro-Trump fellow; he knocked cold two twerps that fell limply to the cold, hard ground!

This was not the only incident...

In the political world, Mr. Scott Pruitt resigned his position as head of the EPA, after relentless attacks by the same anarchists, only those anarchists wear three-piece suits and ties instead of carrying guns, knives and bats.

Now, the same gang is going after Rep. Jim Jordan, a hated member of the Intelligence Committee, as well as a prominent member of the House Freedom Caucus.

False claims of "looking the other way," concerning sexual abuse at Ohio State University while Jordan was an assistant wrestling coach.  (No abuse should be tolerated, but keep in mind the students at the university were not kids, they were college age: 18-21 years old, perhaps?)

The leftists in the congress smell blood after getting Pruitt to resign, but Mr. Jordan is fighting back, and rightly so.

Several of his accusers have been implicated in lying and fraud over the last two decades.  The media, of course, just eats this stuff up; they want more blood.  My gut tells me they will not succeed.

I urge all reading this post, to please pray for our country; for peace, and the strength to be victorious over any enemy attempt to steal what is left of our freedoms, and that includes our freedom to worship God.  The true target of hate of the hard, socialist left.

What the weakness in the Catholic Church has wrought.

I could write a book...

But I don't have to write a book, just look around and see what is happening in society, not only here in the U.S. of A., but also in the world in general.

There are those that say the rules and teachings that must be followed if one is to be a Catholic are cumbersome, enslaving, restricts our freedom to do what we want, when we want.  And if that were really true, then who would want to be a Catholic?  It would make no sense.

On the other hand, what if those rules and teachings actually makes one free?   Remember the old adage: the truth will set you free?  It does.  And that does make sense.

So, when people say I can't do this, or I can't do that (those Catholic rules, you know!), what do they really mean?

It sounds as though those folks want no restrictions on their words or actions.

In years past, the Church had been looked upon as a moral beacon, even to non-Catholics.  But no more.  The evolution, or, should I say, revolution in the Church by those occupying the hierarchy, have caused so much confusion and, might I say, despair, that many have left the Church, while others, converts, by the grace of God, are able to dig through the veneer and still see and find the truth.

We have it on good Authority that the gates of hell will not prevail against it (the Church).  

I have Protestant friends that I love.  But I cannot force them to become Catholics, on the other hand, I can pray -- and I do -- that they will come into the Church.  I hope that my caring will eventually allow me to guide them to the safe inner harbor, away from the storm-tossed sea of error and confusion.  

Unfortunately, one of the terrible consequences of the weakness in the Church, is the loss of the sanctity of life.

Women, the life-bearers, the bedrock and heart of the family, and of society, have been taken down from the pedestal, and reduced to just another element of the secularists in the battle for "equality".

As for men, be masculine!  Be chivalrous to the fair sex; protect and defend their honor!

Pray too, for the return of orthodoxy and tradition to the clergy and laity of the Catholic Church.

A nation of laws?

Have you ever heard of the phrase, settled law?

That seems to be the mantra of those folks who want to keep the "sacred" right of females to be able to legally destroy (kill) their developing child in their womb.

The "settle law" they refer to is that diabolical Supreme Court decision: Roe v Wade, back in 1973.

That horrible "settled law" has allowed the deaths of over 60 million pre-born American citizens, and a death too gruesome to describe here.  Suffice to say, it is done by dismemberment or by chemicals that literally dissolve the poor kid, subjecting her to unspeakable pain and suffering as they die.

Yes, believe it or not, that is "settled law".

But what the liberals and others seem to forget or ignore, is that "settled law" is only valid and licit if it harmonizes with the Natural Law.

Any manmade law or court decision that violates the Natural Law, is automatically null and void.  That is not my opinion, but the teaching of the Catholic Church, and God-given common sense, which seems to be lacking these days.

It's like the saying: if it ain't in the Bible, then it's okay.  Or show me where in the Bible it says...

Again, God, the author of life -- of us -- allows us to use or free will to reject Him, and, in so doing, reject our common sense, among other things.

When Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. was behind bars in the Birmingham jail, he wrote letters to his followers, and to the American people in general, espousing what constitutes a just law.  He quoted St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine in their definition of just laws.

Keep in mind, that King was a Protestant, yet he still used his common sense and gave credit to two Catholic saints in putting together his thesis.

So, we are told that we are a nation of laws, and without the enforcement of those laws, we would be no better than wild animals in the jungle, ruled by the survival of the fittest.

As has been pointed out, not all laws are just, and therefore, are not to be obeyed, or followed.

I realize that this can mean great hardship to those faithful to God and country.  Notice I said to country, not to government.  There is a titanic difference here.  I love my country, not my government.  Not a government that passes unjust laws; laws that say the killing of the pre-born is "legal" and a "right".

I pray that some day soon, we could say that we are a nation of just laws.

And, yes, pray!

Traitors, Patriots, and the Deep State...

The date: July 4, 2018, the nations birthday...

But will this date be one of celebrations, hot dogs, beer and fireworks, heat and humidity -- the "normal" things that one expects on "The Fourth," or will it be a day to remember, or, should I say, a nightmare to remember?

Time will certainly tell, and we won't have to wait very long; a mere 24 hours.

What we do know is that there are traitors to our country, patriots as well, and the ever-present "deep state."

First, let's reverse the order, and look at the deep state, as it is now known...

Who and what are they?

In my opinion, "they" are the hold-overs from previous administrations; some from long ago, yet they seem to stick like super-glue to the offices they hold, and the power and influence they wield, not only over their subordinates, but also over the monies and policies implemented by whatever new administration that comes to power.

Make no mistake, the power of the deep state is enormous and vast in scope!

They can make or break any new president.

I'm not kidding.

How?  In a nutshell, by stifling his (or future her) implementation of policy or appointments to fill the many vacancies that a president requires for any measure of success.

As we can now see what is happening to President Trump and his allies, the deep state cronies are fighting him tooth and nail on almost every front.

They are traitors to our country.

Strong language, I know, but true nonetheless, because they are not looking out for their country, but for their own anti-American agenda.

One good thing is that they are almost universally exposed.  We now know, for the most part, who our enemies are.

Next, the patriots...

Who are they, and what can they do to overcome the deep state traitors?

You and I are the patriots.  We can fight back through civic action; being good citizens; protecting and defending our families, and the sacred traditions of our faith, as well as those right traditions of our country, and adhere to and defend the Natural Law.

If necessary, fight for our rights that are guaranteed -- not by government -- but by God.

And pray for our country, that, as a nation, we turn back to Him that created us in His image and likeness...

Justice Kennedy v. Cicero, Jefferson, Hamilton and MLK

History will remember Justice Anthony Kennedy for advancing an illogical argument to deny a God-given right.

That places him on the opposite side of a fundamental question from the great Roman senator Cicero — as well as from Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton and Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

In 1825, an 82-year-old Jefferson wrote a letter putting the Declaration of Independence in context.

He wanted people to know: There was nothing unique or new about the philosophy it embraced.

"Neither aiming at originality of principle or sentiment, nor yet copied from any particular and previous writing, it was intended to be an expression of the American mind," Jefferson said.

"All its authority rests then on the harmonizing sentiments of the day," he wrote, "whether expressed in conversation, in letters, printed essays, or in the elementary books of public right, as Aristotle, Cicero, Locke, Sidney, &c."

Cicero was murdered in 43 B.C. What might he have said that enlightened the Declaration of 1776?

"There is a true law, a right reason, conformable to nature, universal, unchangeable, eternal, whose commands urge us to duty, and whose prohibitions restrain us from evil," Cicero wrote in about 54 B.C.



"It is not one thing at Rome and another at Athens; one thing today and another tomorrow; but in all times and nations this universal law must forever reign, eternal and imperishable," Cicero said. "God himself is its author, its promulgator, its enforcer."

What did Hamilton think of this argument?

"The sacred rights of mankind are not to be rummaged for, among old parchments, or musty records," Hamilton wrote in 1775. "They are written, as with a sun beam, in the whole volume of human nature, by the hand of the divinity itself; and can never be erased or obscured by mortal power."

That Jefferson, a hypocritical owner of slaves, understood that the inalterable God-given natural law prohibited slavery is demonstrated by some of the inscriptions now carved into his memorial in Washington, D.C.

They include these Jeffersonian words: "God who gave us life gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice cannot sleep forever. Commerce between master and slave is despotism. Nothing is more certainly written in the book of fate than that these people are to be free."



In 1963, Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. was unjustly jailed in Birmingham for protesting the immorality of segregation.

King, the president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, rightly offered no repentance for nonviolent resistance to unjust laws. In the true spirit of America, he explained why that resistance was necessary.

"A just law is a man-made code that squares with the moral law or the law of God," King wrote in his Letter from Birmingham Jail.

Speaking of those who engaged in nonviolent resistance against segregation, King declared: "One day the South will know that when these disinherited children of God sat down at lunch counters they were in reality standing up for the best in the American dream and the most sacred values in our Judeo-Christian heritage, and thusly, carrying our whole nation back to those great wells of democracy which were dug deep by the founding fathers in the formulation of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence."

In 1992, Justice Kennedy joined with Justices Sandra Day O'Connor and David Souter in writing the Supreme Court's opinion in Planned Parenthood v. Casey.

Kennedy defended what he called "the right of the woman to choose to have an abortion before viability and to obtain it without undue interference from the state."

He argued that this "right" was protected by the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.

"It declares," Kennedy said, "that no state shall 'deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.' The controlling word in the cases before us is 'liberty.'"

If the right to kill an unborn child, as Kennedy argued, is protected by the "liberty" recognized in the Fourteenth Amendment, what is the ultimate source of that "liberty"?

Is, as Cicero said, "God himself ... its author"? Are men, as Jefferson wrote, "endowed by their Creator" with it? Is it, as Hamilton declared, written "by the hand of the divinity itself"? Does it, as King would ask, square "with the moral law or the law of God"?

No.

In Kennedy's opinion, the "rights" that constitute "liberty" are something each person — or Supreme Court justice — can make up for themselves.

"At the heart of liberty is the right to define one's own concept of existence, of meaning, of the universe, and of the mystery of human life," Kennedy wrote. "Beliefs about these matters could not define the attributes of personhood were they formed under compulsion of the State."

However, though Kennedy gave to each person the authority to determine what "liberty" is, he nonetheless limited a women's liberty to kill her unborn child to only that time which precedes the child's "viability."

Viability, of course, is a mutable thing — subject to advances in machinery and drugs.

But then, in Justice Kennedy's world, all rights are mutable — subject to whomever holds five votes on the Supreme Court.

The attack on children is an attack on society..

The attack on children is taking many forms.  The most obvious, is abortion: the killing of the pre-born.  And without life, there can be no liberty or the pursuit of happiness.

But there are other ways that children are being attacked -- and used! -- to promote a specific, anti-life agenda.

What else can, or is being used in this attack?

First, the undermining of the authority of parents, mostly implemented at the school-age level, secretly keeping essential, and private information from the parents.  Quoting the right to "privacy" for their charges.  This can take several forms, but namely, with the so-called sex-education programs now being almost universally adopted not only in the public school system, but also in so-called "Catholic" or private schools as well.

As it turns out, this "sex-education" is nothing more than an indoctrination of "alternative lifestyles" that steals the innocence of teens and even pre-teens.  So, by the time they graduate, these poor kids are so confused and full of doubt, and even malice toward the traditional norms of society, they are easy prey for the un-natural elements that seem to be thriving in our country and around the world these days.

Second, the hard left is using the present influx of illegal aliens at the border, citing the separation of children from their parents, continually lying about the president's immigration polices.  In fact, President Trump's policies are nothing but the enforcement of the laws on the books. These laws have been adhered to by former presidents Obama and Clinton.  But the mainstream media completely ignores the treatment of those aliens long before Trump became president.

So now, the left uses these kids for their own despicable purposes, and exposes their hypocrisy and false concern, and false compassion.

I have to admit, these tactics have been quite successful.

Witness the daily demonstrations, covered in depth, by the more than willing lackey media, spewing hate and malice toward our president and his family.

These attacks on the children -- and the traditions of society in general, are some of the elements of the coming battle that may further tear apart our homeland, our fatherland.

What does the hard left really believe -- or not believe?

Does the hard left really believe that it is wrong to separate children from their parents?

Answer: No.  Because they separate children from their parents on a daily basis through abortion.  And we all know what abortion is: the destruction of the little baby developing in her mother's womb.
If only they would care just as much for the American parents that lost their children to car crashes; cars driven by drunk, illegal aliens.

Does the hard left have true compassion for children in general?

Answer: No.  Because if they did, they would also care about those pre-born babies I just mentioned.  If only they would care just as much for the American parents that lost their children -- and sometimes their husbands/wives -- to car crashes; cars driven by drunk, illegal aliens.

Does the hard left believe that we are a sovereign nation, entitled to secure borders?

Answer: No.  Because they can't think straight, they want open borders to strengthen their own political base, regardless of the expense and hardship imposed on their own citizens.

Does the hard left believe that the MS-13 gang of animals believe in the right to life in these Untied States?

Answer: It doesn't matter, since they -- the hard left -- are lawless themselves.

Does the hard left believe in the Natural Law?

Answer: No.  Because on a daily basis, nearly 3,000 pre-born babies are slaughtered in the  US of A through abortion.  And because they are adamantly pro-sodomite.

Does the hard left know the history of their own political icon and hero, former President Obama?

Answer: Yes, but choose to ignore his corruption and malice directed to the most vulnerable of our race: pre-born babies.

Does the hard left know the history of their original political icon and hero, former President Clinton?

Answer: Yes, but choose to ignore his corruption and malice directed to the most vulnerable of our race: pre-born babies.

Does the hard left believe in equal justice?

Answer: Of course not.

Does the hard left believe in freedom of speech for all?

Answer: Of course they do, but only if it agrees with their ideology.

Does the hard left believe that you and I have the right to worship God, free from discrimination and harassment?

Answer: Yes.  But only if you are NOT a Christian.

Does the hard left think that we -- "deplorables" and "irredeemables" -- are stupid?

Answer: Of course.

Does the hard left think they will win any new, civil war?

Answer: Of course, but they're wrong, very wrong.

Does the hard left believe that animals have more rights than the preborn?

Answer: Of course.
