St. Paul: Faith Or Works, Or Faith AND Works?

The following Scriptural verses are taken from the King James version of the Bible...

Romans: 3; 26-28...

"To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.  Where is the boasting then?  It is excluded.  By what law?  Of works?  Nay: but by the law of faith.  Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

And Galatians: 2; 16...

"Knowing that a man is not justified by works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Galatians: 3; 2...

"This only would I learn of you, received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Galatians: 3; 5...

"He therefore that ministereth to  you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Galatians: 3; 10-11...

 "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.  But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith."

When Saint Paul speaks of the “works of the law,” he refers to what we know as the six hundred and thirteen precepts of the Torah, such as Jewish prohibitions against eating pork, the mandate of circumcision, and the observance of Passover.

So then, when Saint Paul wrote: “Man is justified by faith apart from works of the law,” did he simply mean that Christians are not justified by the ceremonial law? Or did Paul mean that Christians are not justified by works of any sort? To put the question another way, when Saint Paul refers to “works of the law” did he mean “works of the ceremonial law,” or did he mean “all works without distinction”? The way we answer this important question determines how we understand “works” with regard to grace and faith.

Saint Paul includes the moral precepts (for example, “thou shalt not covet”) as belonging to the “works of the law” (Romans: 7; 6-12). 

In Romans 12, St. Paul relates the following (referring to the Commandments -- the Law) "Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good."

My Comment: There is no contradiction here, if one reads and understands the entire teaching of St. Paul...

Back to Dr. Marshall...

This from the Council of Trent: "Canon I. If any one says that man may be justified before God by his own works, whether done through the teaching of human nature, or that of the law, without the grace of God through Jesus Christ—let him be anathema."

Grace remains primary in Catholic teaching. Neither faith nor works merit our justification. Justification is received by faith and perfected by works of charity, but it is not earned by works alone.

No man can be justified simply by observing the moral law found in the Ten Commandments. This is the authentic Catholic teaching of the Catholic Church. “And without faith it is impossible to please God” (Heb 11:6). There is a synergy between faith and works, as James teaches (Jas 2:24). It is not faith alone. It is not works alone. It is faith first and works following—each flowing from the wellspring of grace springing from the wounded side of the crucified Christ.

I answer the question in the title of my article: It is Faith AND Works...

The Desecration Of St. Anselm College In New Hampshire..

This past February, the likes of Bernard (Bernie) Sanders, the radical Socialist and outright Communist, spewed his anti-Christ, anti-life propaganda before a group of students at St. Anselm College located in Manchester, New Hampshire, further polluting their indoctrinated minds.

But Sanders wasn't the only atheist, pro-death candidate to desecrate the once-hallowed halls of St. Anselm, there was the openly sodomite Buttigieg, along with other prominent members of the culture of death,

I can only imagine that the great St. Anselm must be weeping in disgust from his perch high in Heaven, to see what has happened to a "Catholic" college that bears his honored name.

If St. Anselm college is truly Catholic, then why are these anti-American, ultra-liberals invited to foster their lies and filth with the intention to erase the essential tenets of the Catholic faith: love of God -- in Whom they don't believe -- and love of neighbor, especially the most vulnerable of our neighbors, the pre-born?

Their malice and hate, not only for their Creator, but also for our duly elected president, Trump, should be clear for everyone to see and hear.  But the brainwashing of these young minds -- most, in their late teens and early twenties, continues with the blessing of the president of the college, Dr. Joseph A. Favazza, and, apparently, of the bishop of the Manchester diocese, Peter Libasci.

Remember, this is the same bishop that has persecuted the faithful religious and laity of the St. Benedict Center, for what?   For upholding the teachings of holy Mother Church!

The question begs: why did a so-called Catholic college give the opportunity to these anti-Catholic, anti-Natural Law, anti-Christ Socialists and Communists to speak in the first place?   Was it to show that they uphold and support the First Amendment's guarantee of freedom of speech?  Perhaps, but this is exactly what these hard-core liberals want to deny to God-fearing, God-believing folks, such as you and I.   Or, is it to show how tolerant or inclusive they are in inviting the dregs of society to destroy whatever is left of the Catholic faith in the minds of still-impressionable students?

Common sense dictates that the time has long past that the association of St. Anselm College with Catholicism be stricken from the hearts and minds of all who's conscience is rightly formed.   Further, let bishop Libasci know that he has again failed in his duties to guide his flock to the heavenly beatitude, and instead is leading them straight to hell... 

These Modernist clerics are the ape of the Church; they are not doing the work of Christ, but that of the father of lies, Satan...

Pray for our country, and for the quick defeat of the anti-life, pro-homosexual cabal that is destroying what is left of the once-Catholic, post-Vatican II church...

The Dangerous Lunatic Joseph (Joe) Biden...

On February 12, 2020, in a question and answer session in Hudson, New Hampshire, you know, the Live Free or Die State, Biden said the following:

“Those who say ‘the tree of liberty is watered with the blood of patriots’—a great line, well guess what: The fact is, if you’re going to take on the government you need an F-15 with Hellfire Missiles. There is no way an AK-47 is going to take care of you if you’re worried about the government knocking down your door.”

Did you get that patriots?  Just a little less than the threat made by "Representative" Eric Swalwell of California, to use nuclear weapons on Middle America gun owners, that is, you and I.

If anyone thinks that these threats made by these despicable traitors is an exaggeration, think again; they mean every word that emanates from their filthy mouths.  Sure, they might use lesser weapons to confiscate our weapons, but the point is, that's their goal: to disarm you and I so they can control and rule every aspect of our lives.

The translation: we would lose our precious freedoms, and become slaves to the tyrannical state oppressors, all part of the planned takeover by the Communists and Socialists of a once-free Republic.

These miscreants must be stopped at all costs!

This November's 2020 presidential election is not just about politics, it is about being free or being enslaved, and that includes your family as well.  If you don't care about yourself, then care about the precious gift of your wife and children.  Need I say more?

The Radical, Pro-Abortion "Catholic," Biden, Takes Super Tuesday...

Joseph (Joe) Biden, the former Vice President under the corrupt, cowardly and treasonous Obama administration, scored a major victory in the super-Tuesday Demonrat primary, March 3rd, 2020...

What does all this mean?

Well, for the Demonrat hypocrites, it means that they must sacrifice whatever integrity they have left -- which isn't much -- and throw their support to the radical pro-abortion Catholic Biden, regardless of the fact that he can barely put a coherent sentence together, let alone remember what state he is currently in.

But since all the Demonrats running for the nomination are themselves radical supporters of killing the pre-born all the way up to the moment of birth -- and now after birth, infanticide -- is it any wonder that they too will come to the support of Biden?

Let's remember too, that the so-called Catholic Biden is a filthy child-groper; a sniffer of women's hair, and, in fact, much worse as former female Secret Service agents have reported when they were assigned to provide security for the former V.P.

Just think, Biden continues to receive Holy Communion: the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ right from the hands of the modernist bishop or priest, afraid to live up to the vows of their ordination.

Why do these clerics continue to cause further scandal and sacrilege by allowing Biden to receive Our Lord?

There can be only one reason: they no longer have any supernatural faith, and do not believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist...  

Welcome to the new-world-order-modernist church that still calls itself Catholic.  But thank goodness such a façade continues to implode from the multiple scandals of the homosexual cabal and their attack on innocent youth, since the infiltration of the Church several generations ago by the Communists recruited to bring down the Church from within...

So, with the likes of Biden, Pelosi, Kerry, Sen. Leahy (of Vermont) and other prominent, pro-abortion, hypocritical politicians vocally proclaiming what passes for Catholicism in their demented minds, is it any wonder why the end is near for the post-Vatican Two Catholic church?

These miscreants are not doing the work of God, but the devil: the father of lies, Satan.

They have no compunction to drag our country down to hell with them, because they no longer believe in their Creator, that is, if they ever did.  They have sold their immortal souls for power and position in this life, regardless of the price that must be paid in the next...

There is hope, and that hope comes from Christ's promise that the gates of hell itself, will never prevail against His true Church, remains anchored in the Rock of St. Peter and his successors.

If there was one, single reason to re-elect President Trump, it would surely be the sanctity of life, especially giving pre-born babies the chance to breathe air, and to know, love, and serve God in this life, and be happy with Him in the next...

We have only one chance to make the right choice...

What If?

What if President Trump is defeated in November, and the likes of Sanders or Biden takes over the White House for four, long, arduous, anti-life, culture of death years?

What if these Socialist/Communist "Americans" declare our rights to freedom of speech, and the freedom to practice the true religion; will it be consigned to the dustbin of history?

What would you and I do?

What if homosexuality and pedophilia become the norm under the reign of such miscreants?

What if your healthcare comes under complete government control, and you MUST buy a government health insurance policy?

What if the flood gates at the southern border are swung wide open, completely destroying what is left of our national sovereignty, with Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, and a good part of Texas invaded by illegal aliens?

What would compatriots do to protect their rights, and survive as American states?

And finally, what would you and I do if the elites in control of a Sanders or Biden administration demanded that you and I give up our right to bear arms, and initiate a program to confiscate our weapons?

Do you think that we will be tossed to the wolves and be alone in our fight to maintain our American way of life?

There is one element, one entity that the media -- and even most of the "conservative" talking heads -- are not mentioning.  It is the role that I'm sure they will play in defending our country from a Socialist or Communist takeover: Veterans, and active military forces!

Read the Declaration of Independence.

And by the way, I know the correct wording to the Declaration, especially this section: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights..."

Apparently, the incoherent Mr. Biden recently referred to the Declaration, but forgot(?) the word Creator, and substituted the words The THING in its place!   Think about that...

Mr. Philip Haney Was Assassinated!!

Another whistleblower murdered, not suicide as initial reports indicated.

My Comment...

 The Founding Fathers were emphatic that only a nation that has religion and morality as its guides can survive.  I must sadly report that what we see happening in our nation today is from a lack of both religion and morality.  There is a lack of the realization of the tenets of the Natural Law, as an extension of the divinely revealed law of God.  All mankind must acknowledge lawful government, and its Author, instead we have rogue elements that have controlled and perverted power and position to enslave, rather than ensure objective truth, along with life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

As the Declaration of Independence states: "...But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

Jailtime For Biden, Clinton, Warren, Buttigieg, And Other Deep Staters?

We constantly here calls for justice for the criminals such as Biden, Clinton, and other members of the deep state.  We can't figure out why they're not already behind bars, wearing orange jump-suits, paying for their numerous -- and obvious -- crimes against our country and our president.

Treason comes to mind, for one heinous crime.  Yet there are more serious and deadly crimes, such as the support, both privately and publicly, for the killing of the pre-born.

In any reasonably God-fearing confessional state, those who foster murder would certainly go to jail at the very least, and in some cases, forfeit their own lives in justifiable punishment.  Of course, there are other crimes against humanity that could also lead these characters to land in jail for the rest of their natural lives.

So where is the justice?

Why are these miscreants not in jail?

Is it because there is a two-tiered system of justice; one for us, and one for the elites?

The answer to that question is quite obvious...

I would suggest, however, that whether or not these folks end up in prison, or go scot-free, because of a corrupt legal system, they are already in "jail," so to speak.

How so?

Because they have chosen to enslave their immortal souls to the many sins that cry to heaven for vengeance.  They have sold themselves to the demon for power and position in this life, with little concern for where they will spend eternity in the next.

Pray for the conversion of our enemies, or, for their total defeat.
