Judicial Tyranny On Display -- Again!

The other day, the U.S. Supreme Court came down with a decision regarding the 1964 Civil Rights Act, Title VII, prohibiting employment discrimination on the grounds of race, religion, color, sex, or national origin. (42 U. S. C. §2000e–2(a)(1).

This is another example of the courts legislating from the bench.  That duty is reserved to the Congress (the legislative branch), and not the judicial branch!  If that is not recognized, then our Republic will become ruled by the judicial "mob"...

The following is an excerpt from the dissenting opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito:  

“The Court attempts to pass off its decision as the inevitable product of the textualist school of statutory interpretation championed by our late colleague Justice Scalia, but no one should be fooled. The Court’s opinion is like a pirate ship. It sails under a textualist flag, but what it actually represents is a theory of statutory interpretation that Justice Scalia excoriated––the theory that courts should ‘update’ old statutes so that they better reflect the current values of society. See A. Scalia, A Matter of Interpretation 22 (1997). If the Court finds it appropriate to adopt this theory, it should own up to what it is doing.

“Many will applaud today’s decision because they agree on policy grounds with the Court’s updating of Title VII. But the question in these cases is not whether discrimination because of sexual orientation or gender identity should be outlawed. The question is whether Congress did that in 1964.

“It indisputably did not.”

My Comment: Some of the most un-natural, bizarre and anti-life causes have achieved another "victory" with so-called "transgenderism" and "gender identity" now being covered by the 1964 Civil Rights Act...

What this amounts to, is another nail in the coffin of the primary building block of society: the family.  The enemies of the family know this, and use the cover of "discrimination" to derail the right of those who believe that God made two sexes, not three or four or five, ad infinitum.   This decision will wipe our ability to object to, or deny serving anyone, based on our religious beliefs.

And President Trump said that we have to live with that decision?  Really?  Mr. President, tell the "supreme court": okay, you made the decision, now try to enforce it (a la Andrew Jackson)...

Has the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which specifically guarantees our right to the free exercise of religion, now been consigned to the dustbin of history?  

It would seem so...

Since "9/11," It's Been Crisis, After Crisis, After Crisis; War, After War, After War...

If truth matters, even one iota, then the beginning of the decline of our liberties and freedoms in our country, began with the "attacks" on "9/11".

I admit, that it could be argued that the erosion of those freedoms began much earlier.  For instance, when Lincoln arrested editors of some of the newspapers in the North, charging them with sedition for opposing his policies to force the South to remain in the union, ultimately leading to the war between the states. 

Lincoln also suspended the writ of habeas corpus, for all practical purposes, allowing people to rot in jail foregoing a speedy trial for any alleged crime.

In effect, Lincoln's actions violated the rights of American citizens under the First, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendments to the United States Constitution.

It has been downhill ever since...

And "9/11" was the icing on the cake. 

In fact, severe restrictions on our freedoms had been written before "9/11"! 

If this is the case, and it is, how did "they" know this was going to happen in the first place??

What was the result of the "9/11" "attacks"?   

Two unnecessary, long, costly wars in the tinder-box Middle East, with thousands of our troops meeting their demise, along with almost uncountable wounded, some maimed for life.  Not to mention the raid on the treasury to the tune of several trillions of dollars...   

We still have many thousands of our troops on bases in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as in many other countries including Europe, the Middle East, and the African continent...

Why?

We are told that we either fight the "terrorists" on their territory, or we will have to fight them on American soil.  The fact is, the real terrorists are already here and doing their dirty work on the streets of some of our major cities: it's called anarchy and insurrection.  Why haven't the troops of the most powerful military in the world been sent in to eradicate these monsters; these killers?     

Weakness?  Appeasement?  Political correctness?

If you worked in a factory, you had to go to the rally to support the leadership, and your failure to participate was considered a crime against the regime.”'

Far too many Americans have been completely indoctrinated into thinking that if you catch a cold, you're dead, so wear that filthy mask. 

Don't go to church to beg God's mercy and forgiveness for the extermination of over 61,000,000 -- MILLION --  pre-born American babies.  So it would seem that the anti-life terrorists have been incredibly successful in their war against life, after all, abortion is "settled law."

We are now told to prepare for the coming of the second wave of the "dreaded" COVID-19 "pandemic"...

What has happened to American manhood and American womanhood?   We will continue to capitulate to the civil and medical "authorities," living in constant fear, and dare not gather with family and friends, or enjoy some sunshine and fresh air?

Time is running out to turn our beloved nation around and convert our hearts and minds back to God almighty.  

In the long run, we get what we deserve, don't we?

A Message To Law-Abiding, America-Loving Patriots -- including Veterans...

If there was ever any doubt about the agenda of the radical leftists (read: Antifa anarchist/insurrectionists), that doubt has been wiped away...

Notice too, how the extreme liberals -- who support and defend the anarchists -- I refer to the establishment media and those in charge of major corporations, accuse the law-abiding, America-loving patriots of what they do.  This is especially true when it comes to the oft hurled charge of "racism".

It seems that everything under the sun is somehow racist these days...

I just don't get it.  

A case in point, from my life, exposes the lie of such nonsense... 

I remember nearly 53 years ago, I served with black Americans in Vietnam.  There were some pretty dicey nights during that incredible year.  Sometimes I wondered if I would ever see the sun rise.  Those days were usually very hot and humid, or drenched in torrents of rain during the Monsoon season so prevalent in Southeast Asia.

There was no question in anyone's mind that if push came to shove, and we were faced with a massive ground attack on the perimeter, it mattered little what the color of my G.I. buddy's skin was.   As the saying goes; there are no "atheists in fox holes," nor racism for that matter...  Stopping the enemy was job one, and until that was successfully accomplished, one's political views meant nothing.

As an example... A group of my Security Police brothers and I were assigned to protect engineers who were drilling water wells out in the boondocks, about 15 or 20 miles from the air base.  Since the operation went on for several days -- and nights, we rotated the duties of providing a secure perimeter by enlisting volunteers for each 24-hour period...

I was the NCO-in-charge of an improvised machine-gun bunker at the entry point to the newly-formed base of operations... Along with me, was my black brother ammunition feeder to the big M-60 gun...

All was quiet, until about 1:30 a.m., when a report came over our two-way radio that a regiment of North Vietnamese regular Army troops were heading in our direction from the foothills of the big Natrang Mountain...

Our small company consisted of about 25-30 cops; no match for over 1,000 bad guys making their way from the North to support and reinforce their Viet Cong comrades in the South...

Things got a just little tense...

Our "bunker" was nothing more than a dug-out mound of dirt with a few branches to help camouflage our position...

This just wouldn't do; we would be sitting ducks until air support arrived in the form of helicopter gun-ships and fighter jets...

I saw some circular corrugated metal scraps that the engineers no longer needed, so I figured I'd ask if I could take some of it and stick it around my bunker...  

With permission granted, I did just that... we built up the corrugated metal with as much dirt as possible in no-time, and waited for the inevitable attack from a vastly superior enemy force...  I wasn't so naive as to think that our new metal bunker would be able to stop heavy machine-gun fire, but it would give us a little more protection from small arms fire, that is, until help arrived...

One of the Security Police supervisors approached the entry point in his Jeep; I challenged him; then let him enter our tiny base.... He told us about what to expect if the stuff hit the fan; we were as ready as we could possibly be... I think my black bunker-mate and I said some silent prayers hoping that the NVA would turn away and head in another direction...

Around 3:30 a.m., we were notified that the hugely superior enemy force did just that!

The quiet on our little "western front," continued 'till daylight... 

We did get to see the sun rise on another day... God was, and is good...

As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., once remarked: we should judge a person by their character, not by the color of his skin... 

My message to law-abiding, America-loving patriots -- including veterans: let us hope and pray that we will not have to fight another war -- here, on American soil...

Radical Liberalism Is Destroying Minds -- And Souls...

Any Catholic who dares to claim to practice the true faith, cannot in any way, shape or form, be a Liberal, or support Liberalism.

Liberalism is anti-Christ, pure and simple.

The following information was gleaned from the Catholic Encyclopedia, and shows  how the Church condemned Liberalism...

"By proclaiming man's absolute autonomy in the intellectual, moral and social order, Liberalism denies, at least practically, God and supernatural religion. If carried out logically, it leads even to a theoretical denial of God, by putting deified mankind in place of God. It has been censured in the condemnations of Rationalism and Naturalism. The most solemn condemnation of Naturalism and Rationalism was contained in the Constitution "De Fide" of the Vatican Council (1870); the most explicit and detailed condemnation, however, was administered to modern Liberalism by Pius IX in the Encyclical "Quanta cura" of 8 December, 1864 and the attached Syllabus. Pius X condemned it again in his allocution of 17 April, 1907, and in the Decree of the Congregation of the Inquisition of 3 July, 1907, in which the principal errors of Modernism were rejected and censured in sixty-five propositions. If a Catholic thinks that these condemnations are "old" and "out of date," you are mistaken... Official condemnations never change, regardless of the time element involved.  The same can be said of a dogma defined by the Church: it never changes.

As we know, there are many "Catholics," especially those in politics that claim their faith is paramount in their lives, but in reality, they support those agendas that are diametrically opposed to Church teaching.  They flaunt their "faith," yet support the killing of the pre-born; homosexuality and other deadly and bizarre choices that can and do destroy minds and souls...

I repeat: Any Catholic who dares to claim to practice the true faith, cannot in any way, shape or form, be a Liberal or support Liberalism. 

I urge my Catholic friends to rescue their souls from the abyss of hell, cast off your pride, and return to the Father (and the state of grace) just like the Prodigal son; it's never too late!

What About The Holy Ghost???

Am I dreaming, or what?

I've read in the Bible that the Holy Ghost (the Paraclete) was sent by our Lord to appear to and strengthen the Apostles hiding in the upper room for fear of the Jews.

After He descended upon those very scared Apostles, they had new-found courage and zeal to preach and baptize those very same Jews they had previously feared and hid from!!

Fast forward to the present time...

Have our shepherds, our bishops, forgotten about the recently-celebrated feast of Pentecost?

Has the Holy Ghost been kicked out of the public sphere too?

It seems so.  And why not, if Christ has been kicked out of the public sphere, why not the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity?

But our shepherds should have the guts -- given to them by right of their manhood -- in the first place, and because they -- and we -- have received the sacrament of Confirmation, when we were all made soldiers of Christ, in the second place.

In the third place, our shepherds, have been given additional power and strength by the administration of the sacrament of Holy Orders as priest, then the consecration of a bishop marks the plenitude of the priesthood.

So why have 99% of the U.S. bishops been hiding in the "upper room" for fear of the civil authorities who have demanded that our churches be shut down because of a coronavirus?

And as some church doors have now been open for Mass -- under some very strict requirements -- is it possible that if there is another uptick in the so-called COVID-19 flu bug, the bishops will capitulate once again and shut the doors of our churches?

Why the eagerness to obey some dictate of these Christ-hating governors and mayors?  Are they somehow indebted to these miscreants; do they in some way support their attempt to take down the president, regardless if the economy is ruined and millions of Americans lose their jobs?

Do these Catholic bishops care if hundreds -- or is it thousands? -- of their flock have committed suicide -- the ultimate act of despair, condemning a soul to hell for all eternity?  Or do they not believe in mortal sin and hell, and that one leads to the other if not confessed before death?

Have they kicked the Holy Ghost out of their lives entirely for power and position in this life, and to hell with what they will face in the next?

Their flocks have been laid-waste; they have let the wolf attack and ravage what is left of the faithful; the souls of many have been placed in dire jeopardy, why?

My advice to all Catholic bishops: appeasement never works.  Stand your ground and protect the flock from the attacks unleashed by the so-called "pandemic," in conjunction with the Marxist powers from hell who realize that the last barrier to their complete takeover and enslavement of the human race is the authentic Catholic Church...

Please pray for our country -- and the bishops...

The Betrayal Of The Legacy Of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. By Black -- And White -- Militants...

If Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. could see what is being done in the name of eradicating racism in today's America, he would be spinning in his grave!

Let me say from the outset of this article, that I am not so naïve as to think that Dr. King was a saint in every sense of the word, however, what I do know is that many, if not most, of the demonstrations that he initiated in order to draw attention to the cause of civil rights for his people, were peaceful...

Dr. King emphasized that we should judge a person by their character, not by the color of his skin...

These were some of the elements that led me to do my 1963 high school term paper on Dr. King.

Five short years later, in April of 1968, Dr. King was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee...

When that tragedy happened, I was doing a tour of duty in Vietnam.

I distinctly remember the base commander calling for calm and prayer, as many of my black brothers were either stationed on the base, or had come in from the field to enjoy some "R & R," or to get some hot food, instead of those lousy "C" rations that most G.I.s hated -- including me.

I also remember that a memorial service was scheduled to be held at the base chapel that served the Catholics, Protestants, and any Jewish brothers that were stationed with me.

One of my black buddies, Tom, from Houston, Tx., was headed to the chapel for the service... I asked him if I could come along and pay my respects... He was glad -- maybe a little surprised too? -- that I wanted to come with him.

As we entered the chapel, I was impressed to see the chapel jammed, with only standing room available.  But there was something else: I was the only white brother in the entire crowd, save for the priest, minister, and rabbi!   I felt that I wanted to be there, even though I really didn't consider the possible reaction of my presence by any of the black brothers in attendance.   I will say, however, I felt "safe" being with Tom.

Those were tough times, not only because of the war, but because of what was happening back in the states -- the "world" as we G.I.s called home...

Plenty of demonstrations, whether against, or in support, of the war, were seen on a daily basis, and filtered back to us, still in-country.

The end result was that the G.I.s became the targets of the radical left and their sympathizers, mainly in the press, in conjunction with the "6 o'clock," TV news anchors.   And by the way, that was the big mistake; the insult that I, and many of my brothers endured when we came back home: the hate for the war morphed into hate for the troopers that fought in that war.

I look at it this way: I helped to keep the South Vietnamese people free for over 10 years, until the rug was pulled out from under those Asian peoples when the U.S. politicians cut off critical funding for weapons and other crucial supplies needed to keep the Communist North from overtaking the South, as finally did happen in 1975.

But I digress...

The terrible vandalism, anarchy, insurrection, burning and looting that is being done in the name of George Floyd -- in stark contrast to the legacy of Dr. King -- is destroying what is left of the thin barrier between the rule of law, and the rule of the jungle.

It is now known, that forces from outside the various cities, such as BLM and Antifa -- now classified as a terrorist organization -- have been bused-in to revolt against American traditions, most importantly, the family.  Financial support is pouring in from both domestic and foreign sources to keep fanning the flames of disorder and mob rule.

It seems that many, if not all, the cities that are being torn apart are, or, have been, controlled for years, some for decades, by an iron-fisted Democratic political machine.  These are the very same politicians that have kept their black constituency locked into a cycle of welfare and lack of economic opportunity.

So, if anyone wants to look at what many are calling "systemic racism" in our country, look no further than those very same black and white liberal pols that have used that ruse to fool and betray their fellow Americans into thinking and acting as if America is the land of "slavery, and the home of the cowardly"...

That's where the real bigotry and hate lie, not in the hearts and minds of most of my law-abiding, God-fearing countrymen.

As a practicing Catholic -- and anyone who at least obeys the Natural Law -- you know that you  cannot claim to love God, and, at the same time, hate our neighbor.  That is a spiritual impossibility!

Pray now more than ever for our country...

The Second Blitzkrieg...

Here is the definition of what became known as the blitzkrieg, used with great efficiency and effect at the outset of World War II by the German military.

"...is a method of warfare where the attacker, spearheaded using a force concentration of armored and motorized or mechanized infantry formations with close air support, breaks through the opponent's line of defense by short, fast, powerful attacks and then dislocates the defenders, using speed and surprise to encircle them with the help of air superiority."

In recent months, at least since March, we have been hit with the blitzkrieg of the so-called COVID-19 "pandemic" that has ruined the lives of millions of Americans, not because this strain of the flu bug that infected and killed them, but because it destroyed businesses and threw nearly 41,000,000 Americans out of work.

What this has done to the American populace is to scare, to the point of fear and panic over a much-less-deadly version of the coronavirus than previously thought, pounded into our collective heads that wearing a mask will filter-out a microscopic virus.  It won't, because it can't.

In the last week or so, we have been hit with another blitzkrieg of mass violence by radical leftist organizations such as Antifa, funded by domestic and foreign freedom-haters.

The blitzkrieg was, and is working!

Law and order is almost nonexistent in many of our major cities across the fruited plain, with self-hating, liberal-politicians who control their cities and towns calling for the defunding of their own police departments!

Not only that, we have police -- including chiefs of police -- kowtowing to the "demonstrators," even lying prostrate in a sad example of submission to the political correctness sweeping the country, with no end in sight...

The thin blue line of the police forces that separates the rule of law from anarchy, is quickly fading from memory.

The useful idiots of the hard Left think that when (or if?) the revolution succeeds they will be the "top dogs" running the show.  

How wrong they are!

Any student of history will clearly see that horrible example of the French Revolution -- that slaughtered uncountable law abiding and God-fearing citizens and clergy -- eventually turned on its own masters, sending many of the originators of that revolt against the moral and Natural Law, to the bloody guillotine. 

Notice too, how our Second Amendment rights are being attacked on all sides because the anti-American, anti-Christ demons know that unless and until they are able to enact even more gun control legislation, and restrict -- and confiscate our weapons -- they will be at a disadvantage in completely implementing their Socialist/Communist agenda to take down America...

All this happens when we turn our backs on our good God, and worship at the altar of man...

Are we heading for an internal conflict, a civil war?  Perhaps... 

My advice: stay alert; pray to God for guidance and strength -- and read and study the Declaration of Independence!
