Remember??? December 7, 1941??? Pearl Harbor??? You Know, The "Sneak Attack" That Officially Injected The U.S. Into World War II???

 But first, a little family history here... My now-deceased brother was born on Columbus Day, 1942, right smack in the middle of WW2, I, on the other hand, was born 1 year and 11 months after the end of WW2: July 12, 1947.

My dear brother (veteran) enlisted in the U.S. Navy back in 1960 and served on the aircraft carrier, the U.S.S. Constellation, and was involved in the 1962 Cuban Missile Crises which brought the world very, very close to a nuclear Armageddon...

I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on July 9, 1965, and was trained as an Air Force cop, later to be known as a Security Policeman, and went to Vietnam on December 16, 1967, I returned home (a changed man) on December 16, 1968...

My now-deceased father was exempted from the military for some specific skill he had that contributed to the (WW2) war effort...

My now-deceased mother also contributed to the war effort by maintaining the home front as a loyal American -- and praying!

(I know she did a great deal of praying for my brother back in '62, and perhaps even more for me when I went to Southeast Asia back in '67!) 

My dear, now-deceased uncle Vincent served in WW2 (in my uncle's honor, my brother's middle name was Vincent!).

I want to relay something at this point, something that occurred less than a year ago regarding my Uncle...

First, my Uncle was a Catholic.  I'm not sure how much he practiced his faith, but what I do know is that he appeared to me in a dream... What I clearly remember is that we shook hands -- as one veteran to another.  I took that to mean that he wanted me to pray for him, as if he needed help -- to get out of Purgatory, perhaps?  

Up to that point, I had always included him, and my other deceased relatives, in our daily Rosary, by name!

So, after that dream, I had a Mass offered for him...

I hope that helped him enter the Heavenly Beatitude!  And maybe, just maybe, I'll find out one day?  

I realize this has been a long "intro" to "December 7, 1941," but I wanted to give a little personal background about our military service to our country, for better or worse.

Didn't Our Lady of Fatima warn that there would be another "great" war (WW 2) in which many good men would die, if mankind didn't convert, turn to Her Son and bend our knee in humility at the very mention of His name??  For no one comes to the Father except by Him!  As there is no other Name under heaven by which we are saved! 

As we know, wars and rumors of war are a result of grievous sins committed against God.  The unfortunate result is that it is always -- always! -- the civilian non-combatants who suffer, with lives and homes destroyed, sometimes in the most heinous of ways.  E.g., the fire-bombing of some German cities that caused a horrendous, hellish conflagration that snuffed out the lives of countless men, women and children...

As for the "sneak attack" on Pearl Harbor on that infamous Sunday morning -- yes, it was on Sunday morning when many were attending Mass, church, etc., only to realize that they were being plunged into hell on earth, but was it really a "sneak attack"?  Or was there advanced knowledge of the Japanese heading toward the Hawaiian Islands?   And was that knowledge purposely ignored -- or covered up?  And if so, wasn't that a treasonous act resulting in the slaughter of close to 3,000 American military and civilians alike?

Wasn't it eerily similar to the future "sneak attack" on September 11, 2001, by a bunch of Arabs with box cutters taking over several airliners and flying them into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, defeating our intelligence agencies and NORAD?

Conspiracy theories abound, but we see the results of those "conspiracy theories" and the loss of life, treasure and, most importantly, our freedoms and liberties granted to us by our good God -- not by the government!

The question is, when will we ever learn that we all have to change our ways, repent and treat our neighbors as we want them to treat us???

If only we would fulfill the two great Commandments: to love God and our neighbor, all the other Commandments, the law and the Prophets would be fulfilled and there would be -- dare I say it? -- a real peace on earth...

We are now in the Season of Advent... Let's get ready to welcome the Prince of Peace and Love into our hearts -- and the world!

There Is Only One Savior, And It's Not President Trump Or The GOP! Read The Predictable Results Of This Poll On Abortion!

"Out of overall respondents, 52.94 percent said Republicans are “doing too much to restrict abortion,” 25.3 percent said they are taking the right approach on abortion, 7.15 percent said they are doing too little, and 14.61 percent said they are “not sure.”

That's nearly 53 percent of those polled said Republicans are doing "too much" to restrict abortion!!

But are those 53 percent made up of some Republicans in addition to the Democrats and Independents? 

Remember, not all Republicans are pro-life, not by a long shot! 

We also know that the current regime in control of the Democratic party are adherents to the culture of death, pushing the horrific crimes against humanity: abortion and the sodomite agenda.

Of course, the culture of death also includes euthanasia, infanticide, the mutilation of the human body by confused youth sucked into the "trans" movement, contraception and many other forms of the demonic...

The sickness of the horrendous culture of death infecting society has taken the lives of so many millions of pre-born American girls and boys, that it rivals or even surpasses what the Conquistadors found among the Mexican and Central American natives and their lust for the blood of human sacrifice...

Sure, the Supreme Court destroyed Roe v Wade and turned the "issue" of abortion back to the states.  But how has that worked out so far??  

When you come right down to it, there is no one politician, nor political party that will "save" us, nor stop the killing of the most defenseless of our species.  

I believe it will take divine intervention -- of the Holy Ghost or Saint Michael the Archangel to right this horrific wrong, if that happens, then we'll see many on-the-spot conversions -- and many, literally, scared to death! 

Keep your soul in a state of sanctifying grace and pray too for strength and honor!

Is It A Sin To Report On The Scandals Affecting Souls?

  I just watched a YouTube video by a fairly well-known Catholic blogger/podcaster, knowledgeable in the faith and someone I admire for his take on things Catholic, whether in the church or in society.

He was making a point about reporting/writing on the horrendous scandals that are currently plaguing the church and the various organizations that call themselves Catholic, who investigate and call out those scandals and how they affect the faith...

One of the major points of that video was to ask if such reporting is sinful as some lives can, and have been, affected and or destroyed by that reporting.

For the most part, I can see his point: we must be careful to at least make sure that the facts made public by putting pen to paper as well as making videos for all the internet to see and hear are accurate.

But he also opines that even if such reporting of the facts is true and accurate, should such scandals be pointed out in the first place? 

Personally, I would be aghast to think that my blog articles are, themselves, scandalous and negatively affect some weak-willed soul -- for the worst!

On the other hand, if such reporting/writing can help to point out the dangers of not acknowledging the true facts of a scandal, then, it seems to me that I am doing my job of effectively evangelizing my fellow Christians to recognize the wolves in sheep's clothing...

Those very same wolves are -- and have been -- leading many of the flock to perdition, or, at the very least, causing them to leave the Church for "greener pastures."  And that is one major way of choosing hell over Heaven!   In other words, there are no other "greener pastures," only false and heretical "religions"...

 One of the apparent effects of the scandals in the church can be seen in society as well, and, as the novus ordo church goes, so goes society...

Simply take a look at the current occupant holding the Oval Office hostage: Biden and his corrupt cabinet -- mostly "Catholics"! -- are dyed-in-the-wool part and parcel of the culture of death! 

Why is that?  And is it a scandal for me to report on such?

To answer the first question: the lack of the proper teaching and upholding of the Deposit of Faith, and to answer the second question: am I not supposed to point out the errors, or at least admonish the sinner?  

I also realize that it is not enough to point out the sin, but to fulfill the command of Christ to love the sinner and to pray for that Prodigal Son to return to the bosom of his Father.

This, my wife and I do every time we say the Rosary and additional prayers/novenas, for the conversion of sinners -- by name!

But I will not close my eyes to the heresies of modernism -- the synthesis of all heresies, according to Pope Saint Pius X...

We are currently being bombarded by crazy and bizarre emanations from the supposed bastion of orthodoxy, Rome, and the hierarchy of the Vatican, but in reality, has become the witches brew of heterodoxy, error and scandal.

So, forgive me if my articles seem to be scandalous, but I can only hope that I might be doing some good and I also hope, that in the long run, there will be divine intervention -- by the Holy Ghost! -- to right the wrongs and errors that are leaving eternal scars on the souls of so many...

In humility, please let me know if my attempts at bringing the truth to light is, in fact, a scandal...

Get Ready For This One: Pope Francis to COP28: Climate Has ‘Run Amok,’ Planet ‘Overheating’[!!!]

  So now, I guess Pope Francis is the world's leading, top scientist when it comes to "climate change" and "global warming"???

Faithful Catholics, do you see the bizarre, globalist agenda that the Bishop of Rome, Bergoglio, is pushing, not only on Catholics, but also on the rest of the gullible world???

It is astounding that the "leader" of the world's Catholics has succumbed to the lunacy of the population control maniacs...

Make no mistake about it, all the lettered NGOs and their cronies are at the forefront of the scourge of abortion, contraception, the sodomite agenda, and population reduction loonies that want to reduce that population from the current number to about half-a-billion people!!!

If I'm correct in my math, that means that over 7,000,000,000 -- that's SEVEN BILLION humans would have to be done away with by any means possible, including, but not limited to war and a deadly "vaccine" -- does the "covid vaccine" come to mind???

Remember, Francis is buddy-buddy with so many anti-life, anti-Christ demons who hate -- yes, hate Christ and life -- yet he continues to attack faithful, traditional Catholics and traditional institutions who are attracting many young and growing families and more traditional-minded, orthodox seminarians to serve our dear Lord.

I could understand his rubbing elbows with such miscreants if he was genuinely concerned about their immortal souls, admonished their sinful ways, and attempted to bring them into the one, true Church of Christ.  Sadly, just the opposite is the case...

What this does, is to cause more scandal and confusion in an already scandal-plagued and confused Catholic -- and non-Catholic world!

Excommunicated For Attending The Traditional Latin Mass?! That's Synodality!

 You faithful Catholics out there, did you get that??

This has been in the works ever since the diabolical Traditionis custodes  was issued by Francis, or his henchmen...

The modernists who have taken over the Vatican -- and the Chair of St. Peter -- are exhaling their last breath before they go to their Particular Judgment and are pulling out all the stops to stomp out the Traditional Latin Mass of the ages that goes back, arguably, to at least the Fourth Century! 

While at the same time, the powers that be tolerate and say nothing about clown "masses," or a "mass" being celebrated by a shirtless "priest" performing a "consecration" on an inflated children's raft in the water with scantily clad females sitting on the sand waiting to receive the "eucharist"!  

I'm not exaggerating, I saw this sacrilegious blasphemy with my own eyes! 

Think about it... Some rogue prelate has stated that anyone who attends the TLM will be excommunicated and declared a heretic!

Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black??

It is amazing that the bad guys always -- and I mean always! -- accuse the good guys of what they do???   

But rest assured that any "excommunication" will be null and void the instant that it is issued, and anyone who is declared a "heretic," should wear that epithet as a badge of honor!  

The time is quickly approaching when the white martyrdom now being experienced by some faithful Catholics, can very easily -- and soon? -- become red...

Remember the Cristeros of Mexico??  Eventually sold out and betrayed by their bishops for "peace" and "unity" with the Freemasons and Commies??

Sorry, but there cannot be "unity" with evil!

"He [Her Husband] Always Cherished You Very Much"...

 Yesterday, November 29, 2023, I received a short "thank you" card/letter in our mailbox.  The card was from the wife of a dear friend and brother Vietnam veteran who passed away quite recently.

This good, decent and brilliant Catholic man served in Vietnam around the same time of my tour of duty.  (I do believe, however, that he served two tours as opposed to my one.)

Before his passing, I sent my friend an e-mail asking him to keep me in his prayers because of all of my upcoming scans and lab work to see if there were any new health issues or recurrence of my spindle cell sarcoma cancer.

His reply was to the point: "Sure, sure!" 

And although I sent him another e-mail with an article from one of his oft-quoted "mentors," I received no response. 

By that time, his health was failing rapidly as the news from the "prayer list" indicated, but we hoped for the best -- and for a miracle...

(As an aside, my CT scan came back negative (okay!) and my blood work also looked good.  In addition, the issue with the prostate seems to be stable with no unusual findings according to the urologist!  I still have stage two chronic kidney disease, but I'm holding my own, thank Heaven!)

We will continue to pray for the repose of his mighty and glorious soul and hope that he is now with our Lord and His most Blessed Mother -- and for strength and consolation for his dear wife and children...

A Fight For Life And Liberty: The State Of California Attacks A Woman’s Right To Choose Life...

  Now, before I get into this sad story, let me first say that the attorney general of the state of California, is a gent by the name of Rob Bonta.  He is of Pilipino decent and most probably a Catholic, as was his predecessor, Xavier Becerra, who now heads Biden's Department of Health and Human Services... 

The reason why I bring up the religion of these folks, is to point out that the worst enemies of our dear Lord are, by far and away, apostate Catholics!

The radical proponents of the slaughter of the pre-born, blast -- from the housetops! -- their mantra -- a woman's right to choose, so called.  But!  When a woman wants to choose life, instead of tearing her pre-born baby apart, or chemically dissolve the precious little life developing inside her, then those very same forces of evil will use all their power and influence to keep her from choosing life, instead of death!

In the following story, the woman actually started taking an abortion pill, but then reversed course and wanted to bring her pregnancy to fruition -- and life...

You will see that the attorney general of California, is trying to prevent her from reversing the effects of the "pill," and thus being able to bring her baby into the world!

Incredible!!
