Devils tremble and run for cover when they hear the holy name of Jesus...

Another horror of the devils, is, when they hear the name of St. Joseph -- the terror of demons...

Devils hide their faces when the Blessed Virgin Mary is invoked on behalf of God-fearing Christians...

But today is the feast day of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary; the Mother of Our Lord, Jesus Christ!

In 1854, the DOGMA of the Immaculate Conception was defined by Blessed Pope Pius IX.   Then, in 1858, just four years later, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to (St.) Bernadette Soubirous at Lourdes, France.

One of the most telling of those visions, is, that when (St.) Bernadette asked the "lady" who she was, the answer confirmed the previously defined DOGMA proclaimed by Pius IX, when she answered: I AM The Immaculate Conception...

There have been numerous books written about Lourdes, and St. Bernadette, so all I can humbly do is to acknowledge the real-life, historical fact of that appearance of our Blessed Lady, and her importance in conveying messages from her Son; some as warnings, and some as hope for the faithful.

Just think, from all eternity she -- Mary -- who was conceived without the stain of Original Sin, and became the mother of our Lord, is a powerful intercessor for us, that is, when we ask.   As a soldier receives a medal for heroism in battle, the general of the army also receives additional glory for the actions of his heroic troops!  So, the veneration -- not worship -- of our Blessed Mother takes nothing away from Christ, her Son; just the opposite, it adds glory to her divine Son, because He is the Author of her life, and reflects the fact that He created the most perfect of human creatures!

Mary, by her humility, and complete acceptance of God's holy will while on earth, helps us to get closer to her divine Son when we humble ourselves by trying to do our best to stay in a state of grace, as well as fulfilling the Second great Commandment to love our neighbor...

Oh Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee...

Pray, too, for our country...

The Absolute Insanity Of Gun-Free Zones -- ON MILITARY BASES!!!

If the Founding Fathers could only see what our beloved Republic has become, in the sense of a behemoth, multi-tentacled monstrosity of a central government, dead-set on depriving our rights, instead of defending our rights (granted not by that government, but by the Natural Law and the Constitution) I think they would spin in their graves...

Chief among those rights, is the right to bear arms.  That right is enshrined in the Second Amendment, which, by the way, is under constant attack by those who wish to turn our country into some weird and bizarre socialist "utopia," where only the elites would have that special right.

Result?

Slavery!

Why?

Because without the Second Amendment, all the other Amendments and the rights guaranteed by them, would fall by the wayside, and consigned to the dustbin of history.  In other words, WE, the CITIZENS, would not be able to defend those rights because we would be totally DISARMED!

How does that sound, hunters?

How does that sound, fathers of families?

How does that sound, those who wear the uniform of their country?

And that is the gist of this short article: The Absolute Insanity Of Gun-Free Zones -- ON MILITARY BASES!!!

Again, we have witnessed some American-hating bastard from a foreign country (Saudi Arabia), taking the lives of American citizens as they went about their daily business helping to keep our country free from pond-scum (enemies) whether here, or in some far off land...

The gutless attack on those men in uniform (and innocent civilian workers) at the Pensacola Naval Air Station, proves once again, the stupid policy that deprives men and women who serve our nation, and put their lives on the line, the right guaranteed under that same Constitution, to defend themselves and others...

Let's go back to the massacre at Ford Hood in Texas, in 2009... There, 13 men and women were sitting in a waiting room (one woman was close to giving birth -- and the baby was also killed) when a murdering Muslim "officer", opened fire (where did he get that gun??) and slaughtered all in the room!  No one could fire back and kill that demon.

There are other incidents as well...

What is going on here??

Does it make any sense at all, that men and women that are in the military and trained in the use of weapons are not allowed to carry concealed on military reservations?

No, it makes no sense at all.

The inability to carry on base, was instituted by George H.W. Bush -- yes, a Republican! -- and has been carried forward to this day.  It should be noted that candidate Trump pledged to end gun-free zones at military bases, but to date, that has not happened.  And until that ignorant policy ends, I fear that there will be more tragedies of our men and women in uniform suffering death and mayhem because they could not defend themselves -- or pregnant women!!

As a veteran of TWO military branches, and a Vietnam Veteran, I say that this policy must end, and end quickly!   The blood of those who died, are on the hands of punk elected representatives who put politics above common sense.  As far as I'm concerned, they have violated their sacred oath to protect and defend those very same rights enumerated in the Constitution, especially the Second Amendment...

Pray for our country, now more than ever...

Decemher 7, 1941: The Attack On Pearl Harbor; Seventy-Eight Years Ago Today...

For quite some time, the U.S. remained "neutral" as the Second World War was raging in Europe, as well as in Asia.  But there were those that actually wanted America to enter the war for various reasons, chief among them was to prevent Britain from falling under the Nazi blitzkrieg, and granting Hitler a major foothold in Europe.  But was that a legitimate concern?   Some say yes; some say no...

Up until that time, the U.S. had been shipping tons of military equipment to the Brits under the Lend- Lease Act.  But to some that was not enough...

In addition, the Japanese were systematically overtaking many nations in Asia, even China was invaded for their resources, as well as for their thirst for conquest.

The Japanese needed raw materials for their war machine, (their version of the military-industrial-complex) and one of the main materials they desperately needed was oil.

The war-hawks in the U.S. did everything they could to get us into war with Hitler and the Japanese Empire; they finally succeeded.

Still, it could be argued that our involvement in World War II was not necessary.  I'll let others figure that one out, although it's a little late, and at this point, would it matter?   Keeping in mind, that it is estimated that somewhere between 50- to 80-million people died, including those in uniform.  Let me write out that number to show a little better the horror of that war: 50,000,000 to 80,000,000 human beings lost their lives, not to mention those displaced from homes that no longer existed, or were so severely damaged as to render them uninhabitable...

What happened at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, was the final nail in the coffin for staving-off our involvement in that horrendous conflagration.  The "sneak-attack" was made more despicable because it came on a Sunday morning, when most of the military were on "holiday routine," and folks were on their way to church services, dressed in their Sunday best...

Nearly 3,000 military and civilian deaths and numerous hundreds wounded, not to mention many famous battleships and other support vessels, sunk where they were moored.

Immediately, President Roosevelt made the heartfelt and famous speech before a combined House of Representatives as well as the Senate.  His words: "... (Dec. 7, 1941) a date which will live in infamy..." And thus, quickly came the declaration of war against the Empire of Japan...

Admiral Yamamoto, of the Japanese navy, expressed what was to be his very accurate fear.  He said of the attack on Pearl Harbor: I'm afraid that all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant, and fill him with a terrible resolve...

After five years of war on the European continent, and four years of our involvement, the war came to an end on May 8, 1945 in Europe; the Japanese surrendered on August 15, 1945, after the atomic bombs were dropped on Nagasaki and Hiroshima.

I just wanted to make sure that this day would not be forgotten, at least to those that read my articles...  I do wonder, though, if these terrible events in our history are actually still taught in the schools today??  If not, then surely history could very well repeat itself...

Pray for an end to all wars, and pray too, for our country...

What Type Of Catholic Is This???

I am getting sick and tired of certain politicians that claim to be Catholic, and, at the same time, are useful idiots for the abortion "industry."

Any right thinking person, whether Catholic or not, would call such  idiocy, hypocrisy.

We are taught that we cannot serve God and mammon, and that we have to choose one or the other.

Not only are we explicitly told this in the Bible, it is common sense.

But there's the rub: the lack of common sense seems to afflict those "Catholic" pols that would lay down their very lives for the "right" of a woman to terminate -- in the most heinous of ways -- the baby developing in her womb.

Lay down their lives??

As I mentioned, the lack of common sense says it all, and, in this case, the lack of spiritual common sense.  It seems that all Church teaching is conveniently forgotten, or twisted to fit their deadly agenda.

I could name more than a few Demonrat politicians, and I would suspect that anyone reading this article could do the same, with several very prominent ones in the House of Representatives, and the Senate as well.

In fact, it is not only the scourge of abortion that these miscreants support, but also their bizarre support for the unnatural "lifestyles" of homosexuality and "transgenderism."  Is it any surprise that the newest threat to children comes in the form of "drag queen story hours" at your local library?

These sick sinners have had their consciences blinded by their many mortal sins; it has darkened their intellects to the point of losing, again, that very important common sense.

Just think, these are the politicians that want to become president or run the House (as Speaker); dictate to God-fearing folk what we have to accept and believe, lest we are labeled hate mongers, or worse.  The current situation is very similar to the tactics used in the old Soviet Union, as well as  Red China and North Korea: Call out your enemies for the things that they, themselves do!  We are seeing this in the constant, unsubstantiated attacks on President Trump and now his wife and children!

This will continue until there is a real change of heart; a real conversion of soul from the likes of Pelosi and Biden.  But if I named the many other "Catholic" politicians that support the culture of death, you may be surprised, or maybe not?

Our first president, George Washington, the "Father of America", knew just Who we had to thank for our blessings; he knew that a Republic could not last without religion, Christianity in particular; he knew, as did some of the other Founders, that a land would be doomed without acknowledging the God who made us, and the virtue necessary to please Him.  But the actions of those that claim to be Catholic undermines those very important tenets...

I'm afraid their hearts and minds have been darkened; their souls corrupted to the core.  That would explain their hate for the gift of life and our freedom to worship the Lord of all -- even them...

We must not only pray for our country, but also for those enemies of our traditions and culture whose desire it is to transform our America into something unrecognizable; something foreign to our children and our grandchildren.

As Christmas approaches, let us all make whatever sacrifices are necessary to appease an angry and jealous God before it is too late.  Or is it too late already?  Keep in mind that God is all merciful, but also all Just, and He will not be mocked!

The Madness Of The "Black Friday" Culture...

In addition to the fact that most of the U.S. population has been totally submerged in a mindset of anti-Christ -- whether by choice or culpable ignorance --, the ongoing holidays brings to the forefront the lunacy of rampant consumerism in place of the "reason for the season."

In an attempt to be fair, I have to give credit where credit is due, and that includes giving credit to the current occupier of the Chair of St. Peter, Francis, who recently decried that very same consumerism...

But, at this point, that's about all that I have in common with the leader of the Catholic world.  My disagreements with him are legion, and a topic for another article...

So, the question begs: what has happened over the last several generations that has sparked the craziness of what we see and hear going on during the days of "Black Friday" and beyond, leading up to Christmas?

The simple answer is that Christ has been replaced with the worship of creatures, whether mankind or his creations...

Christmas: the real reason for the season culminating in the celebration of the birth of the Savior of Mankind, taking on the flesh and form of His created creatures in order to rescue us from the deadly consequences of Original Sin of our first parents...

So important was His mission, that He had to subject Himself to the horrors and pain of being persecuted and eventually crucified and hung on a tree.  And, when He only had seconds left of His human life, granted salvation to the "good thief" hanging next to Him.

He is the pinnacle of the season; He is the One that should be "bought" with our treasure and saved into our hearts and souls; He is the one that we should receive as worthily as possible in the Holy Eucharist; He is the model of perfection that we should emulate, not some sports figure or Hollywood "star"; He is the One that should bring some measure of sanity in an otherwise world gone mad with sex, drugs and rock n' roll; He should be the focus as we go about our daily lives; He is the only recourse of our weakened human nature; He is the cure of our tendency toward concupiscence; He is the one that chose, and then gave us, His most Blessed Mother to help us with her motherly love of the children of men, and lead us all to her Son... What a gift!

It is so important to moderate our legitimate passions, and avoid those that can stifle our spiritual life, not only for ourselves, but also for our families and our neighbors.   And, as the New Year approaches, let us be ready to receive Our Lord into the deepest recesses of our hearts, and make sincere resolutions for the upcoming New Year to be as perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect...

These should not be "pie in the sky" goals, but a sincere attempt to amend our lives and pray for others as well...

Why Does The Inside Of A New Order "Catholic" Church Resemble A Masonic Temple?

For those who attend the new-order "Catholic" church, have you ever wondered why there is a table instead of an altar?   Moreover, why has the tabernacle been moved to a side area, in many cases, even out of sight of the congregation?   I admit that this is not the location in all cases, but in many...

If you want to see a comparison between what passes for a new-order "Catholic" church these days, take a look at some photos -- they are readily available on line -- of the inside of a Masonic temple, and see for yourself the similarities of the placement of the table, where the presider does his thing...

Why is this, and why was this travesty allowed to happen??

First, it is important to realize that several generations ago, the Communists of the old Soviet Union knew that if they were to achieve world domination, there was one, last organization that stood in their way to accomplish that goal.   That organization was, or is, the Catholic Church.  After all, the Church at that time had hundreds of millions of members that were, for the most part, faithful followers of Christ, and His Church.

Those followers had to be conquered, if not by weapons of war, then by subterfuge from within.  Therefore, Red agents recruited haters of the Catholic Church to enter the seminaries and become "priests," work their way up the hierarchical ladder, to the rank of "bishop" and "cardinal".  From there, it was one step away from the papacy!

As of today, that infiltration of the Catholic Church is almost complete.  I said almost complete; we know that it will never fully succeed; we have Our Lord's word on that, but at the same time, He didn't say that the faithful would have elaborate buildings with beautiful works of art to decorate the interior, or vast sums of money to spend on fancy retirement homes for the bishops.  No, we are told in the Bible that there will be a Remnant, here and there...  A Remnant...

So, where did the idea of the table instead of an alter come from?

For those old enough to remember, there was an open revolution in the Church that culminated in what became known as the Second Vatican Council.  It was called by Pope John XXIII for the purported purpose of letting in "fresh air" into the stogy, old Church.  Yeah, right...

But what was let in, was not planned by the pope -- or was it??? -- it was the smoke of Satan!   This choking, stifling smoke was described by the next pope: Paul VI...

Paul VI was, in fact, a very weak pope; unable or unwilling to face the destroyers and their hideous plan to remake the church.

And how was that done??  First and foremost, by destroying the traditional Liturgy.  That liturgy was the maker of saints and martyrs down through the centuries, so it had to be changed as a major step in compromising the Faith of our Fathers...

Now we have to take a look at the main architect of that destruction: Archbishop Annibale Bugnini.  It is said that he was a Freemason, if true, that would fit right in with the substitution of a "table" for an alter, wouldn't it?  But his main  goal was to replace the sublime liturgy with the vulgar tongue of the people, wherever they lived.  So, in the English world, it would be English, not Latin, and so on...

There are photos of at least six Protestant ministers that were seen at the Council.  It is said that Bugnini consulted with them to get their input, as to what would be "acceptable" to them in a new Catholic Mass service.

The destruction from that bombshell can still be seen today.  In fact, it is not getting any better, but rather much worse.  Recent surveys have come to light that indicates that many -- actually, most -- Catholics that still attend Mass, no longer believe in the Real Presence, that is, if they every did.  This can be the result of extremely poor catechesis following the Vat. II Council...  The mom's and dad's that grew up after the council simply did not know their faith.  That ignorance was passed down to their children, and so on...

It is said that the law of praying, is the law of believing!

So, we come back to just what do those who attend the new-order "Catholic" church believe?  Apparently not the Real Presence; the pinnacle of Catholic belief!

It is apparent to me, that the Freemason Bugnini spectacularly accomplished his goal.

Man, and the elements -- the earth --, have now replaced God as the pinnacle of worship...

There is hope!  More and more younger families are attracted to, and attend, the Traditional Latin Mass, and have formed thriving communities of faithful Catholics, in our country and abroad.  The pendulum has begun to swing back in the direction of the sublime, over the vulgar...

Please pray that this magnificent phenomenon continues!  And pray for our country...

The U.S. Fertility Rate Continues To Falter: Below Replacement Rate!!

According to the CDC (the Center for Disease Control and Prevention), the fertility rates in the U.S. continue to fall, and have fallen dramatically for the last four (4) years, way below the 2.1 births necessary for replacement for those who exit this world...

Here are some stats as of 2018...

In fact, if one looks at the bottom ten (10) on the list, guess what states make up six (6) of those ten??

Give up?

The New England states!!

That's right; in order from "higher" to lower, they are: Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Vermont.

Maine: 1.58; Connecticut: 1.57; Rhode Island: 1.49; New Hampshire: 1.47; Massachusetts: 1.45; and Vermont: a tragically low 1.44!!!   Vermont is only higher than the District of Columbia: 1.35, and Puerto Rico: a dismal 1.04!

What a disaster!

It should be noted that Rhode Island is considered to be the most "Catholic" state in the U.S.  In fact, Massachusetts and New Jersey (N.J. has a birth rate of 1.78) follow Rhode Island in that category.  But Connecticut, Vermont and New Hampshire are in the top twenty (20) of the states with the most Catholic populations.

So, if this is the case, and it is, then how can it be that the birth rates in those three states are so low?  What might be some of the factors that have led to those terribly low birth rates?

I have a couple of questions for anyone that may be interested, and may be indicative of why the birth rates are so low: 1) what does it mean to be Catholic in those three states?   And, 2) if one claims to be Catholic, shouldn't that person follow Church teaching on faith and morals?  In fact, if one claims to be Catholic, there is no choice but to follow Church teaching.  So, the second question has now been answered, but how about the first: what does it mean to be Catholic in those states?

Apparently, not much.

One factor: all three states are bastions of liberalism.  We know that the sin of liberalism is incompatible with Church teaching, for one thing, and is diametrically opposed to the command to multiply and subdue the Earth.  That's not my command, but the God Who made us.  And by the way, He wasn't speaking metaphorically!  Just as Christ wasn't speaking metaphorically when He told all of us that unless we eat His flesh and drink His blood (worthily) we will not have life in us!  Of course, just the opposite is true too (St. John, Chap. 6). 

It seems that those Catholics are very much American Catholics, rather than Catholic Americans!  Is there a difference?  Yes, in a big way.  

Many years ago, the prolific writer of letters and encyclicals, Pope Leo XIII (1878-1903), complimented America and Americans because we were able to practice our faith and be free (relatively so) from persecution.  But at the same time, condemned AMERICANISM.  Basically, the watering-down of Church doctrine in order not to offend non-Catholics.  There was more, but that compromise alone, has become the milestone around the neck of the Church here in the U.S. of A.

Americanism, has also fostered the scourges of abortion, contraception, euthanasia, and now infanticide, not to mention homosexuality, all "legal", apparently, in our country!

Could it also be a titanic chastisement for those crimes, especially committed by those who claim to be "Catholic"?

We know that one cannot be a follower of Christ, and, at the same time, follow the demon; it's one or the other.   Simply stated: we can't have it both ways in this life!

Pray for discernment, and pray for our country...
