Are You Saved, Brother??

I often hear my Protestant -- those who protest against the Catholic Church -- friends, or a relative or two, who say that if you give your life to Christ, or establish a "personal relationship" with Christ, then, as if by magic, you damn-well better believe: you are SAVED!

First, most of those folks use the Bible to justify their supposition.  I find that interesting... But they either don't know that the very same Bible they use to support their belief system, and declare their salvation, was put together and codified by the authority of the Catholic Church.  Even a cursory scan of history will prove this, yet most will not believe this fact.  And if that is the case, then they are either culpably ignorant, or too prideful to acknowledge this.

Second, the "Bible only" group that places all their hopes, and dreams, and their very salvation, forget that the true religion was in place, and passed on from Abraham to Moses without a single written page of Scripture -- not until the inspired Moses put the first ink to parchment in Genesis.  Keeping in mind, that there was approximately 250 years between these two patriarchs.

The answer is: ORAL TRADITION...

In the New Testament, St. Paul tells his congregations to stand fast to the traditions they have been taught, either by word, or our epistle...

These data present a problem for the Protestant: either he has to admit the truth of what I just wrote, or he continues living a lie.

Thirdly, those who say that we must be "born again," are correct, but not how they mean it.  Here,  the Bible is very clear on what being born again is all about: St. John, Chapter 3, verse 1 to 5.  Here is the pertinent passage: "...Except a man be born again of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.   (Taken from the King James version of the Protestant Bible.)

Why is water so important?  Remember, our Lord was "baptized" by St. John the Baptist in the Jordan..  And, at that moment, the water itself was sanctified.  Perhaps that's why nearly 3/4 of the earth is covered by water?  Even in the driest deserts, if one digs deep enough, there is water to be found.  We know that Christ didn't need to be baptized, as He was without Original Sin -- any sin!  But, He was giving an example of what had to be done to those who would eventually follow Him.  Remember too, that at Pentecost, St. Peter and the other Apostles were given the power and strength to preach and baptize, and that very day, at least 3,000 came into the Church, and were cleansed of Original Sin through Baptism -- they were BORN AGAIN!

Fourthly, I strongly suggest to all my Protestant friends and relatives, read St. John, Chapter Six -- all of it -- regarding the Eucharist.

Here is the pertinent verse (53): Then Jesus said to them, verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye YOU HAVE NO LIFE IN YOU.  (The entire chapter six of St. John, is taken from the King James version of the Protestant Bible.)   And so, it's Catholics that have the most personal and intimate of relationship with Christ through the reception of the Holy Eucharist!

What more can I say here, except that I point out these biblical facts in order to have my Protestant friends and relatives to come into the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church founded by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, so they too, may share in life eternal, as God wills all men to be saved -- and come to the knowledge of the truth...

Another Murder, Inc...

For those who may not know, Murder, Inc. was an organization formed by the "mob" back in the 1930s for the purpose of carrying out "hits" on those unfortunate individuals "fingered" by that very same mob for elimination.  The reason for the "hit" didn't matter, what did matter was that those people had to be removed from the scene; the scene being territory, money, liquor, and, probably -- and most importantly, securing the position of  "top dog," or boss of all bosses of the crime syndicate (in Italian: Tutti di capi tuti) .

As many of the readers of my articles know, I often use Murder, Inc. to describe the so-called "planned parenthood": the killer of pre-born babies, and even -- born babies!!  That's called infanticide, which, by the way, has always been against federal law, not to mention the Fifth Commandment and the Natural Law, and it seems to be gaining a foothold even under the presidency of Mr. Trump -- he knows it must be stopped!!

But now, there is another Murder, Inc. that has come to the forefront, in, of all organizations, the Catholic Church, or what passes for the Catholic Church.  It is important here to make a distinction of the authentic Church, and a "parallel church" that only resembles the authentic church, but is light years away from the church that Christ founded 2,000 years ago...

Now, since the pontificate of pope Francis nearly seven years ago, a new revolution has taken place that rivals the French Revolution of 1789, which ushered-in the near wiping out of the Catholic clergy and religious orders that fell under the bloody guillotine.  It should be noted, too, that several prominent "founders" of the revolution, made that last walk up the steps to lose their heads to the guillotine because they just weren't radical enough!!  I guess today, one might call them "moderates."

As each day goes by, we are learning that Murder, Inc. has been busy, and right under our eyes, as faithful Catholic priests are in hiding for revealing the corruption of morals and misuse of hard-earned monies generously donated by what is left of the new-order Catholics -- mainly elderly -- still in the pews.   Of course, the satanically inspired Vatican II opened the floodgates of modernism as well as the "coming out" of the recruited homosexual and Communist moles that burrowed their way deep into the Church, and rose up through the ranks to become bishops and cardinals -- and popes?

One of the most prominent of faithful bishops who has gone into hiding for fear of being murdered, is Archbishop Vigano.  This brave archbishop has called a spade a spade, and pope Bergoglio doesn't like it; that's putting it mildly!   And then there is the murder of a priest who was just about to give testimony of the homosexual network and other forms of corruption, but was assassinated with one shot in the ear area, and one in the back of his head.  His sister continues to have his murder investigated to this day.  She wants to prove that her brother did not kill himself, but was "hit" by sinister forces because of what he knew and for what he was about to reveal to authorities...

There is another good and decent priest who has also gone into hiding, after being tipped-off that henchmen from the archdiocese of Chicago; sent by "Cardinal" Cupich, were literally on their way to abduct him and have him committed for mental incompetence... His "crime": He had an LGBTQ banner or flag burned after it was found on church property.  From my understanding, some of the so-called parishioners were the ones who ratted him out to the cardinal, who, by the way, is a notorious supporter of the Lavender Mafia!!

The examples of the corruption of the human element in control of the Church, are legion, but in the long run, I think that even they know Who will win out...

One of the major sins of this modernist cabal, is scandal.  And this scandal can be long-lived, affecting entire generations of, not only Catholics, but also those who may be considering coming into the true Church in order to be saved.  I cannot even imagine the accountability and the justice of those responsible for the loss of immortal souls, will have to pay at their Particular Judgment!

In light of this massive apostacy from the faith, what are the faithful laity and clergy to do?  How can we go about our daily lives and still realize what continues to happen to Holy Mother Church on a daily basis and not despair?

There are many answers, I'm sure, but suffice to say, that we must continue to hold fast to the traditions that we have been taught, either by word, or our epistle (St. Paul), and reject the novelties that have nearly destroyed the Church.  We should also realize that the gates of hell will never prevail against Her!  We have our Lord's very words and promise of that fact.  If we don't believe that, then we have despaired, and the devil has won the battle he has fought ever since Adam and Eve...

Pray for the one, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, and pray too for our country to end the scourges of abortion, contraception, euthanasia, homosexuality, and now infanticide, and for the stability of marriage -- the building block of society...

Patience, Please!

Have you ever realized that you have put not one, but both feet in your mouth?

I have...

Here's what leads me to do this almost on a daily basis: I just can't figure out why people can't express themselves the way they are supposed to, or, saying it in a different way; as I want them to!

Why is it that they just can't seem to say or write what is important, especially in matters of religion, the way I want them to say or write what is important?

I know I'm repeating myself here, but that's part of my impatience; that is one of my imperfections, and I can guarantee, I'm loaded down with them, as I recently mentioned in Confession...

See, it's like this... When someone (I won't name names) explains to me what "she" wrote to her son about our precious Catholic faith, I usually wind up saying something like: "how come you didn't explain that to me first, because you should have written this... or that...?   You left out the most important way to write what you wrote!!"

What's the matter with people?   Haven't they ever heard of mental telepathy?  It's quite a simple concept: it goes like this... You stare at someone that is writing or talking, and, as if by magic, they're supposed to know what you're thinking, and respond accordingly to the person they're talking or writing to!  Can't they read minds?

But I have found out that it rarely ever works!  Darn!

I think that most husbands will find what I have just written are "guilty" of this lack of patience.  (Notice I put the word guilty in air quotes?  Well, I did that because of pride, and not in the good sense either.  Pride seems to get in the way in many aspects of our lives, and transforms some of our actions and words into something non-Catholic; non-charitable.)

So, I have to admit that I am guilty of, not only impatience, but also pride (no air quotes this time).

Now the hard part: asking for forgiveness!  So, if I offended that person -- whoever he or she is -- I apologize.  I'm sure the way you expressed yourself to your son was just fine, and will help him come into the one, holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church founded by none other than our Lord, Jesus Christ!
But remember, I'm here to help too!!

The Miracle Of The Twelve Apostles!

What miracle of the Twelve Apostles?

This miracle: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I  have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world (St. Matthew, 28; 19-20, King James version of the Protestant Bible).

Now think about this for a moment... Here were twelve men chosen by our Lord, to continue the work of revealing to mankind -- all nations -- what He revealed and taught His Apostles, without the use of planes, trains, and automobiles.  Without the use of TV, Internet, "smart phones", and the like.  How did they travel "to all nations"?   By foot; by cart; by donkey; maybe even by camel; by boat, and, perhaps by bi-location (this last mode of travel, so to speak, is recorded in the Bible!  I refer to St. Philip and the Eunuch of Kandace, and forward.)

So, now we have twelve mostly uneducated men, chosen to bring the Word to all nations?  Of course, the key here, is that their Master, Jesus Christ, told them to do it.  He knew that they would be able to travel to all nations, and baptize those that listened.  Those who did not listen, were not of God.  The Apostles were also told that if that were the case, then they were to "shake the dust off" and go elsewhere, obviously leaving those folks to their own devices.  We can presume from that, that they were not justified nor saved, but that was for God to decide the fate of such people.

Note too, that the Apostles had little or no written "orders" or Scripture to accomplish this massive mission, but "only" the command of our Lord!  Neither did they have great memories to remember all that they were commanded to teach, but what they did have, was the Holy Ghost to inspire their speech at the appropriate time.

It is Tradition that many of the Apostles travelled to a good portion of the earth, and most suffered martyrdom at the hands of those pagans who hated truth, and simply did not want to change their way of living; in essence, they did not want to serve this "new God".

Faith comes by hearing, and we are also directed to stand fast to the traditions that we have been taught, either by word or our epistle (St. Paul).

It is also obvious that the preaching of the Apostles was just that, by word.  They had little or no written epistles to pass on to their new converts.  In addition, the men whom they consecrated as priests, continued their ministry by word of mouth -- anything written would have come in later years, yet the nascent Church continued to grow and prosper, even under the horrendous persecution of the powerful Roman Emperors attempting to stamp-out the newly baptized Christians.

In conclusion, it truly is a Miracle of the Twelve Apostles, and that miracle continues to this very day, as I, and my family, look to these great and holy men for direction and succor in a time of challenge for anyone attempting to hold to the unchanging teachings of the authentic Magisterium of the Catholic Church...

Murder Inc., A.K.A., "Planned Parenthood" Continues It's March To Hell...

In FY18, "planned parenthood" did a record number of abortions: 345,672, and received a record $616.8 million dollars of federal funds (taxpayer money!)!

There may be fewer abortion mills in the country, but apparently they are getting more results by "working smarter."

This article from cnsnews.com, should make everyone boiling mad!!!

Planned Parenthood's latest annual report...

There is something very wrong with this horrible news... Then candidate Trump promised to defund the murder machine, but as president, he is failing miserably to fulfill this part of his agenda...

What's going on here?  And what can we, as taxpaying citizens do about it??  In addition to some of the victories being won by the pro-life movement, I'm not sure what to do.  Frankly, I'm at a loss.  When will the killing of the pre-born stop?   How many more babies will be slaughtered in the womb of their "mothers"?   And where are the "fathers" in all of this??

Satan, I'm afraid, is winning big-time.  I'm sure he is quite happy about all those babies not being able to know, love and serve God in this life, and be happy with Him in the next...

Help to end this ongoing tragedy in any way you can...

LOVE Of...

Love of God...

Love of country...

Love of family...

Love of friends...

Love of life...

Love of self... St. Paul tells us that a man cannot hate his own flesh; himself.  That would be the ultimate stupidity; the ultimate despair.

Love of God means many things to many people, but to me, it is quite "simple": To know, love and serve God in this life, and be happy with Him in the next.

Love of country means many things to many people, but to me, it means being a good steward of the riches of the fatherland; being willing to sacrifice to defend the land that I love, in war -- and in peace.

A soldier, sailor, Marine, airman, and Coast Guardsman all sacrifice when they join the military and put on the uniform.

A military man does not run, but stands firm even against the most outrageous odds because he knows that he will be willing to fight for his brother next to him, and, if it happens, to make the ultimate sacrifice for him, not just a cause.

A military man's love also confronts fear, but again, does not run.  He is a sentinel for his country and for his brothers.  He remembers those that are no longer with him; that didn't make it back... This pains him more than anything, but the bond of love never dies...

Love of family is special and different more than any other form of love.  It means love of spouse, and the willingness to sacrifice; to provide for; to defend; to teach; to set an example for... And to create new life!

Love of friends is also special and different than any other form of love.  St. Augustine tells us that true friendship is a gift from God!  The love between friends; man or woman, also can include sacrifice for the well-being of that special person.  The elements of love of a friend only differs from the love of spouse in the sense that there is absent, physical intimacy; all else is, or can be the same.  It too, has an unbreakable bond that lives on, even after death.

Love of life means doing all that one's talent and influence can do to assure that justice for neighbor -- and that includes the pre-born neighbor waiting to come into the world, so that he or she can also love life and enjoy liberty and the pursuit of happiness -- comes to fruition.

And finally, love of self.. As I mentioned, the great Apostle to the Gentiles, St. Paul, admonishes us not to hate ourselves.  This can, and usually does lead to despair, one of the major sins against the virtue of Hope!

Love never dies, but that does not mean it is easy or without roadblocks that need to be overcome.   It takes work and commitment to last a lifetime, and with the love of  God, it will last an eternity..

Just my two cents worth...

Without God -- Without Christ -- There Is Chaos...

I have signed my articles with "Christ or Chaos" more times than I can count.

But it is a truism that cannot be denied, as is evidenced by what is going on, not only in the world at large, but closer to home, here in the U.S. of A.

How much longer will the Creator allow us to exterminate His gift of life to us by the "procedure" of abortion?

How much longer will the Creator allow us to invade, occupy, and disrupt other sovereign nations and cause unimaginable damage to a country and its peoples?

It is said -- and it has been shown in history -- that God will allow one nation to admonish or destroy another nation that had become evil, and turned away from Him.  There is another side to that, and that is, that the nation that is used to destroy another, can also be admonished or destroyed after it has fulfilled what Providence has directed.

What is going on in the Middle East, and has been going on for far too many years -- at a dramatic and disastrous cost in American lives and treasure -- doesn't seem to be simmering down; just the opposite.  The call for retaliation continues to ratchet-up with the prospect of more and deeper involvement in Iran as well as Iraq. Truly a quagmire of enormous and monstrous proportions...

Remember, it was President Trump, as a candidate, who ran on several promises to the American people, one was to disengage our entanglements in the Middle East and elsewhere, and bring our troops home.

What has happened to that noble promise?

Unfortunately, Mr. Trump is still surrounded by too many deep-staters; I call them neo-con war mongers -- hell-bent on funding the fat, happy -- and evil? -- military-industrial-complex that former President Eisenhower warned about just as he left office.  For without war, there is little incentive to develop new and more deadly weapons -- of war!

It is not a question of peace at all costs, it seems to be a question of  war at all costs with the bottom line -- that is, money; dividends and the like to stockholders and overpaid CEOs...

It is truly a "catch-22"!

What will happen next is anyone's guess, and that is why we must, not only pray for peace, but also speak-up with whatever talents that we have been given.

Once again: Christ or chaos!

Viva Cristo Rey!  Fr. Miguel Pro, pray for us...

PS: Who was Fr. Miguel Pro some may ask?  He was a contemporary Catholic priest-martyr of the 20th Century who was shot by a firing squad by the Communist and Masonic controlled Mexican government back in the 1920s.  Fr. Pro used disguises to fool the "authorities" and minster to the faithful Catholics that were being persecuted throughout the country.  It should also be noted that, in 1531, Our Lady appeared to a simple Indian peasant, (St.) Juan Diego.  In the years that followed that appearance of the Mother of Christ, there were literally millions of converts to the Catholic Faith; the direct opposite of those that apostatized from the Faith on the European Continent after the Protestant Revolt (not "reformation")...
