 The question is a valid one, considering that 52 percent of "Catholics" voted for the baby-killer-in-charge, Obama, to win his second term!

The next question: is the revolt against authentic Church teaching still in progress since the promulgation of Humanae Vitae issued in 1968?

We know that Humanae Vitae condemned the use of artificial contraception, but to no surprise, the overwhelming majority of Canadian bishops rejected the pope's (said to be infallible) pronouncement...

This horrific development echoes the Protestant Lambert Conference of 1930, which declared that contraception was no longer a sin!  

After so many years of obfuscating their precious Catholic faith by willingly embracing the mortal sin of contraception, preventing new life from coming into the world, I would not be at all surprised if a large percentage of women stocking up on the chemicals that tragically ends that new life, are, in fact "Catholic".

More human beings died in abortions than any other cause of death in 2022.

A heartbreaking reminder about the prevalence of abortion, statistics compiled by Worldometers indicate that there were over 73 million abortions world-wide in 2023. The independent site collects data from governments and other organizations and then reports the data, along with estimates and projections, based on those numbers.

Worldometers bases its daily abortion figures on a fact sheet from the World Health Organization, which estimates an even higher figure for abortions per year than Worldometers. “Around 73 million induced abortions take place worldwide each year,” the WHO says.

Abortion is also the leading cause of death in the United States.

“In the USA, where nearly 30% of pregnancies are unintended and 40% of these are terminated by abortion, there are between 1,500 to 2,500 abortions per day. Nearly 20% of all pregnancies in the USA (excluding miscarriages) end in abortion. Guttmacher Institute reports 930,160 abortions performed in 2020 in the United States, with a rate of 14.4 per 1,000 women,” Worldometers reports.

When contrasting the abortion numbers to other causes of death, including cancer, HIV/AIDS, traffic accidents and suicide, abortions far outnumbered every other cause. By contrast, an estimated 10 million people died from cancer in 2023, 6.2 million from smoking, 17 million from disease, and 2 million died of HIV/AIDS. Deaths by malaria and alcohol are also recorded.

With 67.1 million people dying last year from a cause other than abortion and 140 million people dying in total from abortion and all causes, that means abortions accounted for almost 52% of every death around the world last year.

Unborn babies are not recognized as human beings even though biology indicates that they are unique, living human beings from the moment of conception and they die brutal, violent deaths in abortions.

The abortion number is incomprehensible, but each of those 73 million abortions worldwide in 2022 represents a living human being whose life was violently destroyed in their mother’s womb. Each unborn baby already had their own unique DNA, making them distinct from their mother. That DNA indicated if the child was a boy or girl, their eye and hair color, their height, possible genetic disorders and other disabilities, and much more. In most cases, the unborn babies’ hearts are beating when they are aborted, too.

In America, just under 1 million babies are aborted every year. Though abortion rates have been dropping in the past decade, abortion remains the leading cause of death in the United States as well.

An estimated 65 million unborn babies have been killed in abortions in the U.S. since Roe v. Wade in 1973. In January, pro-life advocates will gather for the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. to remember the anniversary of that infamous decision and call for restored protections for the unborn.

What Is Detraction, And Is It Detraction To Point Out The Scandals, Confusion And (At Least Material) Heresies Of Pope Francis?

  Yes, it would be if there was a rumor, or gossip about something that the Bishop of Rome uttered or wrote privately, then it leaked to someone outside, breaking a confidence to maintain that privacy, thus causing a harm to Bergoglio's reputation.

But!  If a scandal, confusion and potential heresies are public, then how can it be detraction?

On the contrary, when faced with attacks on the perennial teachings of the Church of the last 2,000 years, absolute resistance and non-compliance must be -- must be! -- the proper course of action.  If this is not done, then there is the very real possibility of the loss of souls to the father of lies, Satan and his rotten minions -- i.e., those working for the Ape of the Church instead of for Christ! 

The present state of the novus ordo church is enough for good-willed folks to despair and give up the fight, cave-in and become fence-sitters or worse.  This would be a complete disaster that could lead to a total loss of the Faith of our Fathers, or leaving the true Church for "greener pastures" of false "religions," and a formal apostacy -- separation from the Catholic faith -- and eventual damnation...

The following is the definition of detraction: 

Detraction is a term used in the Catholic Church to describe the act of revealing something about another person that is true but harmful to that person’s reputation 1. It is one of a number of related sins that the Catechism of the Catholic Church classifies as “offenses against the truth” 1. Detraction is considered a serious offense because it can cause unjust injury to a person’s reputation 1. The Catechism of the Catholic Church notes that respect for the reputation of persons forbids every attitude and word likely to cause them unjust injury

It would be a revelation if Francis would take this definition to heart and realize the terrible harm he has inflicted upon traditional orders of nuns, priests and brothers and those who adhere to the traditional Latin Mass of the ages, characterizing us as "rigid" -- and, in fact, using much worse terms to belittle and defame! 

So where is the real detraction coming from, aimed at those who want to adhere to the real Catholic faith for themselves -- and their families, or from an errant hierarchy hell-bent on transforming the church into something unrecognizable, un-Catholic that embraces a new-world-order and the "traditions" of the globalist elites??

For the past ten years, I think the answer is obvious...

Coincidence, Or Divine Comment??

 Have you heard, or seen??

With all the bizarre, scandalous, heretical and outright craziness emanating from Rome these days, one wonders when things will change for the better and the job of the salvation of souls will get back on track.

If there was any doubt about the un-Catholic words, actions and proclamations penned by Pope Francis -- or his henchmen -- that doubt should have been cleared up with the latest insult to God, the sacrament of Holy Matrimony, the family -- and the Natural Law, with the release of still another monstrosity concerning the "blessing" of the heinous sin of sodomy of un-repentant "couples"...

Well, with the schism of the novus ordo churchmen nearly complete -- it is in Germany -- all practicing Catholics, both clergy and laity alike, might be despairing of any Divine intervention taking place to right these egregious wrongs.

But we can't despair, if we do, then that, itself, would be one of the two horrible sins against the virtue of Hope, the other being presumption...

I also know that we are an impatient lot, wanting things now rather than later, but we have to keep in mind that events will unfold in God's time, not ours.

Still, it is hard to swallow the lunacy being perpetrated by the infiltrators (Freemasons and Marxist Christ haters) looking for someone or something to bring the novus ordo church back to some sense of normalcy and sanity embracing the life-saving Deposit of Faith -- Scripture and Sacred Tradition -- and rejecting the poison of novelty.

But it seems that something has occurred in the former diocese of Archbishop Bergoglio...

R.I.P. Anniversary Of My Mother, Ann -- Antoinette -- On The Feast Of Saint Stephen, The Proto-martyr Of The Catholic Church...

 On December 26, 2007, my dear mother, Ann, passed away and went to see the Just Judge, our Lord and Savior...

She (and my father and brother) are always prayed for, always thought of...

I miss my mom.  I hope to see her again... I long to see her again!

She died with her cherished Rosary at her bedside -- the same Rosary I use to this day -- and wearing the Brown Scapular!

What more could I ask of our Blessed Mother as She guided my mom to Her Son?

Jewish leaders ordered him to be stoned to death for expressing his opposition to movements against Christianity. His death inspired witnesses to carry on his faithful work.
